  1. The first section of the solo, I have set to ignore all those notes. It's a bunch of natural harmonics on non-typical frets, so no penalties.
  2. Okay. It's updated for lead and rhythm now, with plenty of handshapes. https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/33810
  3. Do you guys want me to update and upload "Wait" with more handshapes, or just wait until after this championship week is over?
  4. I'm not sure when in the song you're referring to. It's possible it's a little different from the 1987 music video version. I mean, the ending did change (or is an alternate take from the studio remixed). Here's my isolated bass file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n1Zfzp22oYHqyQ6F850HKinAisV5YJvl/view
  5. Are you guys talking about the series of harmonics starting with 4-7-5 on the D string, etc.? You might be able to substitute that 4 with a 7th fret B string harmonic.
  6. @Mikson thanks for letting me know. I'll pay more attention to how well those long ones get recognized in the future.
  7. Sorry, man. I guess it does make it more difficult to get to 100%. I tend to make slides pitched when I can "hear" the notes move up or down. And unpitched if it's just a screech. Where were you having the most trouble getting detection? The typical Whitesnake low E string slide down, or the "Buildup" part where there are some 7/14 slides on the A string followed by the 12th fret G triad? Or somewhere else.
  8. I have one I made that I keep hoping gets picked, but you guys are generous enough to have already picked a few others of mine. (Wait by White Lion) but I can wait awhile in hopes it gets called on.
  9. I think Erik's better, but the difference isn't that much that it would make them two different bands. I'm fine with Kenny, and I like that the band has really only had 7 members after all this time, with two having returned. I'm probably going to do 2 songs the next time I release something. One old and one new. As far as how to do CDLCs, check out the Customsforge Discord. There are people who are way more available than me with tips and how to get started.
  10. Yeah, there's so much out there I'd love to be CDLCs. I wish more people were making them for these types of bands. I don't know when I'll get back to HEAT, but they're pretty high on my priority. Probably a couple of Kenny songs, since I've already done a couple of Erik songs.
  11. Thanks for the great chats and encouragement, buddy.😥

i do not know you but without people like you, i would not be able to read tabs and play. this helps me cope with life so much and i really can let things go and drift away when playing. you really helped alot of people just by charting these which im sure you had a blast doing too! ill remember you whenever i log on here everyday.

  12. Alright, I figured I might as well make a video of it. It's silent, but I added text to show what I meant.
  13. I know, it'd be easier to show in a video example or something, but anyway... Typical scenario for me... a phrase like "Do you want to go" followed by a second phrase like "I'mm ready" 1) I select "I'mm" and edit the spelling. Then press OK. 2) After pressing OK, it's still highlighted/selected without me doing anything else (and currently the only thing selected). I need to make this second phrase move a half second over, so... 3) I Shift+Click on "ready", with the intention that since "I'm" is highlighted, then shift+clicking "ready" would only select those two words. But instead, EOF selected everything to the left as well, so the previous phrase and everything before that gets selected. I use shift+click a lot for the lyrics to move phrases around to where I perfectly want it to be, maybe do a control+M afterwards if I changed the placement or sustain amount.
  14. The thing is, if I'm not editing a word. Like I'm just selecting one, then do Shift+Click on a word to the right, those words and the words in between those words get selected. As expected. But like I mentioned above, if I go into and correct the spelling of a word, then press OK, a Shift+Click on a word to the right would select everything to the left all the way to the beginning of the song. It's a weird result that I don't think makes sense.
  15. I don't know if this has been reported before, but I can pretty consistently reproduce this "bug" in EOF... While editing PART VOCALs, when I add a word or edit a word (Edit Lyric dialog box), then press OK out of it... if the next thing I do is a Shift + Click on a different word on the current screen, everything to the left gets selected. I don't think that's the intended action is it?
  16. I'll have to experiment some more, because I had tap harmonics a few songs back. I can't remember which song. But setting just natural harmonic and the T on it, I couldn't get the game to recognize it. Even when playing at slower speeds. So I just marked it as Ignore.
  17. Thanks. I know this probably isn't one of those priority things. In the meantime, I might need to look for ways to create macros that will do those steps and map it to FN+NumberKey or something.
  18. Is there a way to use the regular number keys (or an alternate method) instead of the numpad keys for jumping to spots I've set in a song? I sometimes work on my laptop instead of my desktop PC, and my Lenovo laptop doesn't have a numpad.
  19. I would not name it as "You", because it's probably not exercising a precise technique. And it isn't either an educational tutorial from an Artist. But under YouArtist would still be alright. I would keep it under Van Halen - 2 Minutes of 10 songs each is a pretty long compilation of 20 minutes, finding the right part to exercise may not be very comfortable. I think You exercices should remain short, with not too may sections, to quickly find and remember what you want to train. I think You exercices should remain short, with not too may sections, to quickly find and remember what you want to train. Okay. I saw the one "You" CDLC that was Yngwie Malmsteen Classic Exercises and thought that might be the model initially. Are there any YouArtist files in ignition? I only see a bunch of You ones. Sorry, that last part, I meant as an example... two minutes for the entire CDLC of 10 songs. So on average, about 12 second clips from each song.
  20. I haven't gone through all the ones listed for "You" as the artist to check, but I'm wondering about something. What are you all's thoughts on using short real clips from songs in one exercise file. For instance if there's a "You - Play Like Van Halen" created, that has two minutes worth of clips from 10 different songs chopped together. Is that okay? (Obviously, if an artist that has ODLCs is done, none of the clips include DLC songs)
  21. Hmm. I took the delay off for the version 1.0 release. I guess we'll see if people want it back. It should be in there if a person loads the tones of the song from Rocksmith and uses that for their own tone.
  22. I'm working on a song that has a pretty big echo in a spot. I can match the timing by adding a delay to the tone, but here's the problem... When doing Riff Repeater at below 100% speed, it gets all wack. The song's delay effect gets slower, but the guitar's delay remains the same. So I'm not sure, but this could be pretty annoying for anyone practicing at a slower speed, so this might just be a design decision. Should I just remove the delay in the guitar tone?
  23. Are the sections any different from one another? Like I haven't noticed a difference between "bridge" and "prechorus" for instance. Does fade in or fade out affect the player's guitar volume?
