I am honestly happy with what we have right now. Support for 7-8 string guitars and 5 string basses would be nice though. :D
I mean, the only thing I'd want out of the next Rocksmith is the support for more instruments....and yep...that's about it!
-
Oh god, that Miku pedal is the weirdest thing. xD
I also got a few guitar pedals this Christmas, but none of them are as epic as the pedal you have there! :D

So I've gotten a couple requests for more Bruce Springsteen. I've decided to go ahead and grab another favorite to work on. This time I'll do "Backstreets". :)
-
Don't feel bad. I had trouble trying to fill up my gas tank today.....Forgot that you have to flip a switch on the pump in order for gas to actually begin flowing to the nozzle. *facepalm* There was a giant sticker on the pump telling me to do so also....

Working on another CDLC Project. This one is by BTO. I expect to have it finished today.
Edit: Done with BTO for now. Time to move on to the next project. Thunder Road - Bruce Springsteen

Well, here is my top 4.
Some other favorites that I'd put up if I could would be:
annd.....yea the list would be a little too long, so I'll stop here. xD

I was kinda bummed out when they removed the Old Search, but now I could care less. I like being able to load up all my uploaded CDLC right there in the Database quickly and grab links to go put in my workshop page.
Everyone will always have their issues with a new UI. But once you learn it, you'll end up loving it. :D

So I went and adopted a bunch of other CDLC, since they've been sitting for a while....
Here are the ones that have been adopted:
Jefferson Airplane - Volunteers / Original Charter: Unknown
Bad Company - Can't Get Enough / Original Charter: UnknownCream - Swlabr / She Walks Like A Bearded Rainbow / Original Charter: Unknown
I'll add whatever I can to them in order to release good, solid, revamped versions for RS2014

Finished: What Is Life - George Harrison
Next up.....whatever I feel like doing for All Things Must Pass
Q: What happened to the Pink Floyd Customs?
A: Still transcribing - It's going to take some time. (Ugh...I hate it when people make bad tabs)
-
What Is Life - George Harrison is 95% complete. Just need to prepare some custom tones, run a test, and it's ready for release!
-
Finished George Harrison - Isn't It A Pity. Expect more from All Things Must Pass, my friends! :)
-
Definitely a nice tool! Still learning the basics of it, but I already like what I am seeing so far with it. :D
Thanks for making this, Chlipouni! :)

So I really can't do much with the two Pink Floyd customs until I am able to get down to the guitar store to buy a new slide (Lost my old one). Expect the two other customs in my WiP to come out very soon, since both are on the brink of being finished anyways. After that, I'm going to dedicate the rest of my time to the Pink customs since I'll have a slide by then. :)
-
Uhh, Pink Floyd - One Of These Days was put on hold since I didn't have a slide on hand. I went ahead an did Darkness Darkness - Mott The Hoople....yea, granted it's a cover, but I'm doing a bunch of songs from that album anyways.
-
Finished I'm Your Captain. Next project: One Of These Days - Pink Floyd

Charting for I'm Your Captain is finished. Lyrics, Lead, Rhythm, and Bass are ready to go. All I need to do is finish the tones, and the work shall be released!
-
Working on I'm Your Captain by Grand Funk Railroad. Tab is pretty solid and the song is relatively simple, so I think this will be done pretty quickly. I'm still going to take a few days though since I have to travel.

Someone should restudy cdlc creation process aspecially about wwise step.(someone may forget about seektable while encoding)
Agreed. I never learned about how to configure the seektable to 16384 (or whatever the number was) in tutorials. My customs were broken for a long time as a result. The issue I had wasn't resolved until someone finally figured out the the reason as to why it my customs were broken.
-
Well nevermind now! I finally found the fix thanks to Chlipouni! I'm now taking the time to fix all my CDLC. (Only 3 left)
-
Finished John Barleycorn. Going to probably dedicate time to another CDLC project and continue to toil away at fixing Riff Repeater.
(Oh what the hell am I saying. There's no hope for me. -_-)
-
The Mollusk is finished an ready to go. The thing with this one is......I didn't chart the lead at all for this. xD That credit goes to gubitza. I merely made the custom tone and lyrics. I'm not officially posting it into the database until either he gives me a go to post it...or he posts it himself. I know there are a lot of people out there that would like this CDLC, so I'll leave it here with gubitza taking ALL CREDIT for this work.

When do you intend to release this software? This could probably make a world of difference with my RR issues! :D

If anyone would like to help me out on making Riff Repeater work for my customs, please message me up! :)
The need to separate good cdlc from unfinished/bad one
in Rocksmith Remastered
Posted
I always try to encourage feedback on all my CDLC. I mean, the best way to ensure good quality DLC is simply by giving feedback to the charter.
I'm personally guilty of having 1 or 2 CDLC that aren't of very good quality (mainly due to the fact that I transcribed everything from scratch for those songs). While I will go back and revise them when I get the chance, it would be great if people could leave comments just making pointers on where I could improve the CDLC significantly.
Also, I wouldn't mind a system like Songsterr where I can submit revisions to a post in order to improve the CDLC. (Obviously, Magna Charters should be the only ones besides moderators to utilize such a system, which will protect CDLC from trolls making malicious revisions and such.) This could easily fix the issues where there is a lack of participation from the original charter.
