Working hard on lead, but can't seem to do better than this. Took me half an hour of work to realize that the "solo" section bend the low E string a whole step, plays 2 whole step bent notes, then a HALF step bend, then unbent. Crazy.

Some small improvements.

I'm a bit late posting starts, and it looks like I'm behind already! Really dig this song! I want to like Arctic Monkeys, but I'm just not feeling it. Was looking forward to this one, but I can't play the lead. Oh well. Rhythm was fun...kinda....still thinking about the lead. Looks like @@PinKushin threw down the exact same run :)

Finally made it through perfectly! I've bent all I can bend and I can't bend no more! Certainly got some practice this week.

I hear ya there, I suck at bending. That is one reason I picked this one, I figured it would force me to get better. Nice job on the 100% rhythm score!

Played a bit, a little RR, so not first runs, but decent starting spot. So glad to have a simplified version of this song. Really liking this song, but those bar chords are a workout for me still. Only missing a few notes on this one. I tried it in score attack and got two strikes for missing 3 notes. Too funny! Same challenges with the bar chords, but I'm still trying.

Some relaxing bass after a days work. Very nice. I bought the shinedown pack, now I'm really starting to like them. Nice pick! This one was pretty fun, never heard of the group. I hear a Van Halen influence tho...

I wanted to get one score attack in to see how high of score I could get. And then I had to try master mode. I was probably looking at my hands a bunch anyway with the shifting in this song. And just for fun...

I found a few videos of Sheryl Crow playing Real Gone and while I'm pretty sure she plays the rhythm part, she has a capo on the 2nd fret. It looks a much easier progression with like an Am C D Am C G fingering. Sorry this song isn't getting more love, I thought it was pretty similar to Irreversal from week 252, Tommy Gun, even Louie Louie does the chords up and down the neck the same way. Maybe the secret is to say "I am speed!" before you play it, like I do :) And play it 16 time with your kids singing it at the top of their lungs every time :) I'm also curious, I think of this as a modern southern rock song from a lyrical point of view. I take that for granted living in the US, how does it catch you ladies and gentlemen from other countries? Does it make any sense to you, or evoke anything?

I love it. I would rather play something harder than nothing at all. I have to say, playing harder stuff may have the pleasent side effect of not competing for scores differentiated by one or two missed note. That can be rough.

@@Rodman Level me up, I think I'm ready. I took two shots at this song, It was fun, but it was hard to play bass while holding my hands over my son's ears. Please give me a warning it the lyrics are R rated! I thought I was safe playing it in score attack, then I hear "daddy, there are a lot of swear words in this song!" I guess the album cover should have been my first clue.

A few tricky spots to iron out with this song. My kids love this song, they sing along even when I'm riff repeating over and over. I know I'm hitting above my class on bass, but I'm having fun playing it.

It took a few runs, but I finally broke you streak @@Sebb. But then you posted another improvement, so another few runs got this.

Probably my best for week on lead...pretty happy with my improvement. I've run this song into the ground, my family is tired of it.
