Is there a way that when you are in the "learn a song" section to turn the preview of the song off?

I am (trying) to make a CDLC for a bass guitar, so far everything works, only that the sound is sounding rather electric (disorted) and not the nice smooth bass sound. Been looking everywhere, but cant realy find what i need to change to have the right sound. Any ideas? Thx
