  1. As the title says. Any GP5 files I import have their repeat close and open parts completely ignored. Tested with this tab. The screenshot shows where the intro notes start. The Time signature is way off and the notes don't start in the right place. The whole intro section is 140BPM.
  2. The gp5 exporter isn't too good with repeats/alternate endings, it's an issue with the guitar pro software. I've only used gp5/6 so not sure if its fixed in 7 but I doubt it is. It even occurs with tux guitar when converting tg or gpx files. I reckon it's not getting fixed any time soon and you'll just have to fix it manually (which is normally just adding/removing an extra repeat so it's not too bad but quite annoying) Could you explain that process in detail? There's no real set way to do it, it just depends how it got screwed up. Check the number at the end of the bar and check it matches up with the song if it's too many/little repeats make sure the yellow square is in the right bar and remove and re-add the repeat close and change the value to match the song. Another way to do it is to just remove the repeats to fix the song So this would become this It's all a bit fiddly but it's not too bad once you figure out how the repeats work and how it got screwed. oh also if it gets stuck, add a repeat open to the alt ending. Ah, cheers. Yeah, basically there were two alternate endings to one riff and callbacks to said endings much later in the song. Took me a good 20 mins to fix.

  4. For whatever reason, certain alternate endings in older GP files (GP6 and older) don't import correctly. Some do, others don't. Any idea why this occurs?
  5. Happy Birthday nonstopsuperguy!

  6. Sorry if I was rude, I don't mean to be. Here's the GP https://drive.google.com/file/d/12XqZ5PkPuo_uVAIQZ0vqMrbrpni1ij1u/view?usp=sharing
  7. It seems to have repeats, as well as alternate endings which EoF doesn't seem to handle well (or at all in this case). Is there a workaround?
  8. It's hard to explain. In the GP file, there are 160 measures total, but editor on fire the last note ends at measure 214. Where are these extra measures coming from?
  9. Happy Birthday nonstopsuperguy!

  10. Thanks homes! That seems to have solved my issue. Appreciate that.
  11. Not sure why, but when I import guitar pro files into EoF and also apply the time signature from said file the beatmap becomes all sorts of messed up. Didn't occur in the previous version.
  12. There's some songs (Like King of Sorrow and the vast majority of the Sleddin' Hill album by August Burns Red) that have frequent BPM changes. How do you translate this into Rocksmith? You can only set an average BPM. Thanks!
