  1. Just getting back into the game and tried running this program to update my CDLC to root out any duplicates and have run into this error when I run it. I have over 3k cdlc and ODLC and want to clean up my folder and remove the many duplicates I have but I cannot get past this. Also cannot use the renamer without first running the remove duplicates so I am wondering if the program has a limit to how many DLC it can run with. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. So I actually figured out what was causing the issue. Apparently there is an issue with there being a character limit for when you have customs that have really long file names. When you take into account the path for Rocksmith with steam if the custom has a long name as well it runs into the too many characters limit and just stops moving things into the folders. I also found that it has issues with the & character and it may also have issues with periods (.) as well. I was able to bypass this bug by simply playing process of elimination and just doing sorting one letter at a time so I would move all the customs into a different folder then simply move the A's back and let it sort that then the B's and so on and so forth. It was a pain in the ass to do it that way but once I did it that way I ended up figuring out what the issue was.

  3. So I just downloaded this again to try and tidy up my cdlc collection of 2k+ cdlc's and it stops moving the dlc into their own folders after the first couple (not sure exactly how many). I've run the release version and the beta version multiple times to ensure its not just an issue on one of them. I am wondering am I missing a step here anywhere? I use <artist>\\<artist>_<title> as shown in the instructions and i have also used \\<artist>\\<artist>_<title> as well but it will not move any of the cdlc's into their own folders anymore after the initial first startup and that only moved my letter A dlc's. Is this a bug or am I just missing something. Please advise.

  4. @ what gauge strings are you using? I've tried with .09s .10s and its always the same. are you using .11s or .12s? If thats the case it seems unreasonable for anyone to have to switch the gauge of strings just to be able to get the bends to register for RS. I guess I could try a set of .11s or .12s and put them on one of my guitars but that would require a complete setup of the guitar and getting the nut and neck setup for those string gauges. Man that would be a lot of work in my opinion. I guess I could always just play it through the amp and actually hear everything played correctly without RS telling me they aren't.

Also what pickups and model guitar are you using that allowed you to get that score? That is an amazing score and one that I know there is no way I can reach with my current setup. I would be interested to see some of the 'MC" players take a stab at the Advanced song to see what scores they could get because if its player error I want to see more people scoring over 90% without having issues with the bends. We have a lot of MC lead players that should be able to do this and I would love to see that.

  5. @ @@Kaijin I don't know how you guys are getting over 91% on The Loner as I can't seem to get any of the notes from fret 17 down on the e string to register for me. I keep on getting the same % and its frustrating the hell out of me. If it wasn't for the lack of registering notes I am sure my score would be much higher and seeing you guys with 91+% is annoying me. I am going to try again tonight with all my guitars and see which one will help me get these damn bends to register. From the 10 guitars I have I am sure one of them has to get them to register. Its really annoying watching RS show you a "miss" when you know for sure you played it correctly and I am sure I am not the only one who is going through this. I even raised my RS Cable gain in game and I raised the volume of the cable in the sound properties and I am still getting the same misses each time. I don't want to cheat it and do hammer-ons instead of bends as that wouldn't be fair.
