What is the dll and where do I find it?

I had a bunch of metallica DLC on my laptop that worked fine. I bought a gaming PC and took all the .psarc files out of this location C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014\dlc and placed them in same folder on my new pc. When I open the game, my progress is saved (like the percentage of the song i've mastered) but after tuning the fret board does not show up and the game freezes and nothing happens. What did i do wrong? I even copied over the cherub rock file that I purchased as described to do on this forum. Thanks.
