Hey everyone!

I haven't been on as much lately. I was wondering if anyone has tried out any country/bluegrassy CDLC on here. I'd like to learn a few songs because I do like the sound of some of the guitars, especially the old school stuff. 

I'm looking for stuff with bit more twang, not the new country-pop garbage, but I have no idea what to look for.

Any suggestions? Also - I might be willing to create some CDLC if you have suggestions with good guitar pro tabs.

Line 299 is right before the slideUnpitchTo='"128". Is this a problem since the rest of them look like they are set at -1???

I've never seen this error. When I try to add my arrangement I get this message:

Unable to get information from the arrangement XML.

Your Version of the EoF is up to date?

There is an error in XML document (3722, 299).

I do have the latest version of EoF and already made a song a few days ago. I tried redoing the song in EoF but I had the same error.

Any ideas?

Oh boy, can't we all just agree we have different tastes in music? You aren't going to change someones mind of what appeals to their ears. Like if someone likes olives, I'm not going to judge them because I can't stand the taste!!

That sounds awesome. I try and play in front of my girlfriend but she's never into it. It's not that I'm bad she just doesn't appreciate music in that way. I would be nervous in front of a party but it's my secret fantasy that one day I will be asked to play in front of all of my friends and I'll blow their minds.

Both of those sections are optional. The tab link is a link to the guitar tablature which you can find on various sites like Ultimateguitar.com or songsterr.com. If you want to speed along the process you can look for the best tabs possible. If you're not familiar with tabs you should probably leave that to the charter.

The charter link, from what I understand, is a way to link to a WIP page where the CDLC may already be in progress, or started.

I used to be a Songsterr fanboy until I gave Ultimate Guitar another try. They both usually have the same exact pro tab, the difference is UG gives you a rating. This can be helpful in seeing if the tab is even worth trying. A 1-3 star tab usually is going to take a lot of work. I also like that UG's tabs download with the filename artistname_songname.gp5 unlike Songsterr's 543535345.gp5

I agree, This is a good idea. Today I was looking for jazz songs just for a tone. I still have no idea if there are any jazz songs out there. I didn't feel like searching through 4500 songs or 150 topics in the forum

Instead of requesting more distortion tones, I'm gonna switch it up. I need a couple of general tones that will work on a much larger scale that just one song.

Firstly, we need a good old classic country/slider tone. Mostly all the old country songs use a tone like this, and I think if we had a basic one it could be used for a lot of those songs. Here is an example:

Another tone would be a jazzy/bassy tone. I've got a few clean tones but they aren't bassy enough, and I am bad at fudging around with the tones.

I plan on building a "tone library" this weekend. It will come with general tones like this and maybe have a sample player. 

If you happen to know any CDLC's with these two tones out there please let me know.

What I usually do is just fix the tab itself. I've only pulled this off with 4 / 4 songs however, I usually just change it to 4 / 8. This comment is for if you use Sonic Visualizer, and you can't halve BPM in EoF.

Maybe try clearing and resetting the sections and phrases?

I did that :/ Even tried spacing them out more

There should be a section of how you can add tones. Be careful though, I tried once with a Jimi Hendrix song and for some reason I couldn't get it to work. Could have just been a bad CDLC all together

I think I've seen someone mention this before. I have a song that plays just fine. But when you enter Riff repeater, the notes don't move. You can hear it resetting itself, making the noise it makes at the end of a RR section, and some words flash over the screen (I believe it says Failure, but its really fast). You can also increase the difficult of the song to 100% and play it outside of the RR. 

I've tried repacking it several times. Same thing. Usually when I regen a song I import the non DD version and then recreate the DD. 

I tried recreating the sections AND phrases, no luck. 

Is the DDC just not able to hand this song? Has anybody else had this happen? Or is RS just telling me I'm a failure?
