  1. @@Alex360 Hmmm. So you still have to install Xquartz even though you made your app to run on Mac driver instead X11?
  2. @@beggywhisker Hmm weird. Not once that ever popped up at all. Try re downloading it?
  3. @@NakedSnakeAO I'm currently in the need of testers to test out my version of the Toolkit. Uses the latest beta version and runs on Wineskin. You can try it here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1v4icuaoi3tgd6c/rstoolkit-2.8.4.1-7dc6943a-mac.zip.bz2?dl=0 It can create psarcs, convert PC to Mac, change app id, export to guitar pro tab, etc. Just two things that don't work at this moment in time. Wwise integration is not supported for now. Its been a pain in the ass to get this to work, but we will get fixed soon. Just use Wwise 2015.1.9 and manually convert your audio files there. DDC will generate errors when creating DDC.xmls, or even try importing a psarc to DDC tab. It will still generate the psarc and sections are placed in right spots, but the phrase levels wont show up. We will get this fixed as well soon. Just beware those 2 things that i mentioned if you planned to create CDLCs. But other than, everything else works properly like it should be. Same goes to you @@beggywhisker Try it out and message me if it runs. Thanks!
  4. Wouldn't be even surprised, if they a version on the internet that is not affiliated with RS. Anybody can do that.
  5. Yeah. Alot of people been downloading the .dll patch before remastered was release. We need to update that, so we wouldnt get reports about grabbing wrong dlls. Download the Remastered .dll here: http://customsforge.com/topic/33138-rocksmith-remastered-cdlc-fix/ Thanks!
  6. But if you still want to convert them manually. Open Wwise Convert your files there MORE IMPORTANT NOTE: Rename it to songname.wem If you created preview track, convert it, and rename it to songname_preview.wem Hope you don't go through this since it's more time saving to let the toolkit convert it for ya, but if you want to go with converting manually , go for it.
  7. I like to create my CDLCS as accurate as it can to match ODLC. If you don't like it, then deal with it.... :P

@advocatnetwork, whats your steam name so we can both test each others CDLCs? You already know my goal into making CDLCs, but I guess your following the same path as well?

  8. @@raynebc Don't know if this has been requested before but would it be possible for EOF to have an autoupdate feature?
  9. There is a little program that I recommend to use. It allows you to drag your .wav file of your song, and it will tell you the exact tuning frequency, and apply that to the tuning pitch on the toolkit. Here is the program: https://licensing.zplane.de/technology#tonart
  10. 1st problem, read and download the right patch version for you osx version here: http://customsforge.com/topic/33889-how-to-add-custom-songs-on-mac/ 2nd problem, there is not much we can do about it. Find what file that last put into your dlc folder, then drag out of the folder, start Rocksmith. Exit out of Rocksmith and put your song back in and see if it shows up. Its normal on Mac to do this, but this works for me on mine.
  11. @@raynebc I gotten to fiddeling around with (3-15-2017). Everything works like its expected. Preferences, display set, import/export, and everything else from the past hotfixes on windows. Even though you updated EOF ignition page for adding the latest build on mac, you didn't update the forum post about the new build. Thanks and time for release! :D
  12. @@raynebc sorry I haven't been able to mess with it for a few days. Tomorrow I'm off work so I can try it out.
  13. @@raynebc Well, that fixed both of those problems. I should have told you this before releasing 3-15, but I'm in a rush right now. When you set the path of song folder of where you want to save your CDLCs, it doesn't set it at all, instead it just makes it in the directory where EOF.app is installed no matter where if you set your song folder path or not. That's all I guess. Can't really test out more things since I got to get up early and work til 4 tomorrow.
  14. @@raynebc Thanks for the release! To make DMGs, open up Disk Utility and hit Create New Image. Select the EOF.app and save it somewhere. Once its done, drag the EOF.app into the image window. Also, it will be easier and convenient if you make a little alias of the Applications folder, drag it into the image window so people can simply install EOF.app just by dragging it into the Applications. Few bugs that I report. It doesn't save anything when you try to set your preferences. You have to do it every time you open EOF. Here is what happens when I try to set the display size. http://i.imgur.com/5KX25u8.png Then here is the second error that is pulled off, and when hitting "OK", it goes back to the default display size. http://i.imgur.com/aqUgKou.png Anyways, thanks for the release! :D
  15. I guess applying those hotfixes to the app takes a long time to code than just putting it a zip in and expect it to work. I don't have any experience in coding whatsoever, but I wish I was taking his place. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It's been awhile since a Mac build was released(4-26-2016), and here were are now, don't know how many hotfixes we have updated, but I'm sad the mac build is left out. I assume once we hit EOF 2.0, will it be updated on Mac?
  17. I have no experience on java, c++. Python a little, but made a shell script. Sorry, I'm just curious and somehow it just worked. I just want to become a magna charter. Lol I posted my list of CDLCs but no response for month or two.
  18. How to create CDLCs on Mac Programs needed: RSToolkit: http://customsforge.com/index.php/topic/39922-latest-rstoolkitwine-releases-10-27-2017/ EOF(If your on Sierra or lower): http://ignition.customsforge.com/eof If your on High Sierra, the above link is not compatible with High Sierra. Download the Windows port here(Latest version 1.8RC12, hotfix(6-7-2018): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1cvADSWAeNZUu3-HB6aIZNA1ZHU8a1gWP Optional programs: Audacity(If you want to convert mp3 to ogg, make your own preview audio files, or if you want to change around your audio file, I would use Audacity). Download Audacity: https://www.audacityteam.org/download/ CFSM(CustomsForge Song Manager): http://ignition.customsforge.com/cfsm UltraStarCreator(If you want to have lyrics in your CDLC): https://sourceforge.net/projects/usc/files/latest/download Now, you got all your programs you needed. Now look up on the forums or watch videos on YouTube on how to make the actual songs. I will not be adding my own tutorial, since there are plenty of tutorials out there for that matter. Once you got your CDLC all finished up, go ahead and save your work. As for Wwise conversions, I would go right ahead and converting you ogg to wem before I chart my songs, and after I make edits to the audio in Audacity, but everyone else's method is different. Wwise is already built in the RSToolkit, so no need to download anything. Just go to OGG to WEM section, browse for you guitar.ogg, and let it convert. Might wanna restart the toolkit if you want to convert your preview.ogg to wem as well. To save space in your song folder, delete any extra audio files thats created by toolkit, and stick to just guitar.wem and/or preview.wem Heres my configuration settings. Yours maybe little different than mine, so be aware. Make sure your Platform is set to "Mac", and on the Converter tab, make sure the "Source Platform" is set to "PC" and "Target Platform" to "Mac", if you want to convert "p.psarc", to "m.psarc". To make a m.psarc, import your arrangements, tones, wem file, album artwork, and always make sure your Platform is set to "Mac". Hit Generate, save your psarc in your song folder or wherever, then it should generate a Mac psarc. Put the psarc in your dlc folder and, voila! Now if you want generate PC, Xbox360 versions, just simply hit the "PC", and "Xbox360" tabs and generate them. PS3 is not supported because it requires Java, and your going to have to create Wine port of Java to get this to work, but I suggest to not do it. If you really want to, send you psarc to someone and have them convert it for you. That's it! Feel free to ask questions! Cheers, I)ark_Seph ;)
  19. So I should I use wine and make Mac customs from there cause I already have Wine? EDIT: Well guys, I should go make a tutorial for all you Mac users out there that would like to create CDLCs. Mine works just fine. Just used the latest beta version of the toolkit, and the package creation works like a charm. Only downside is you cant generate PS3 packages because of Java not installed through Wine, but that's fine. Who uses a PS3 to play CDLCs anyway. Problem solved! Will make a tutorial soon!
  20. I am converting 220px images to 512x512. Only used jpeg and dds files only. But I will try using already made 512x512 images. If that doesn't work, it's probably missing that file goes into /vars/folders whatever. EDIT: Still no luck. Tried using a image thats already 512x512 without converting. Where's that file that the error keeps throwing off? Is it downloadable? Also to note, I think EOF on Mac needs an update since its been almost a year and god knows how many many hotfix releases we had between now and then. Just my opinion.
  21. It does the same way when I try to generate a Mac package as well. Maybe as well with Xbox and PS3 packages. NOTE: I'm using Mac OS X 10.7.5 Lion and Mono Framework version 3.0.0
  22. The toolkit doesn't include the file "x2yt1pso.ex1.dds" But the directory exists.
  23. Tried using both .jpeg and .dds, but still that same error. That first error happened when I didn't have an artwork.
  24. Is that a bug where the build will fail if it doesn't have an album artwork? Cause the PC version doesn't do that.
  25. Well, I'm not suppose to fiddling around the mac version of the toolkit, but since I renamed the .wems to the correct name, the toolkit will avoid conversions. On mac, the conversion doesn't work at all. So, I renamed the .wems to avoid conversions, got to the screen where to save your .psarc file, click yes, and I got this: Package generation failed. See below: Error generate PC package Could not find file "/var/folders/7t/pq3rcfh55wj_sdhjc1frhx_m0000gn/T/x2yt1pso.ex1.dds". And A bunch of this random code on the bottom. I assume the CDLC Package Creator has never been fixed on Mac. Just saying, and hopefully this will be working soon. Thanks! NOTE: I'm using EOF (4/26/2016), Wwise v2015.1.9, and the stable version of the Toolkit, just in case of ya'll are wondering.
