I don't see why you need to disable some parts of the song? You could ALL compete on your choice of three Intermediate/hard songs - it would just be that each person would be assigned a level (beginner, Intermediate or Masterclass). The leaderboard would be only against people at your own 'level' (per song).. Sounds easier to manage :) As I said my concern is that on "score attack" after 3 parts down you're kicked out like "GAME OVER" so most of the time I can't post any score... I must admit that my idea is not realystic and managing competition is already enough complicated for Krazyone and Motive (thanks to them). I need to improve myself, that's just what I need! :D I think you'd get more people entering it - if there were three songs to choose from - rather than being tied to one song (for the level you are at). It's a competition (of sorts) so you need something to aim for. Otherwise, what's the point of entering - you could just go off and practice it yourself..

@ Just noticed my RS icons are back to normal. Looks like I made the mod on my laptop only! :)

Wasn't going to submit (as it was only my first go) so I skipped past the accuracy screen. I have master mode turned off when I play in the champ, so it is the actual accuracy. MInd you, I know it probably doesnt count.. :P Not that fussed with the songs this week (apart from Ozzy, which is above my level just now). 82% on first try at the Black Crowes.. Mainly as I was taken by surprise by the solos.. Power chords all fine (though the usual few detection misses). Any tips for fretting the solo? Vids?

Lead part in Intermediate is painfully boring to play... 3 chords repeated throughout the song.... I think I fell asleep half way through it..

lol.. One play with Sabbath (no RiffRepeater, I went in cold) and 55%.. It'll need a lot of RR.. :D It's the only song I'm interested in, so might give it a go.. Not sure yet - there are some others I want to try out.. :) Good luck all..

My first and pinkie were on the chord (and stayed there) and I brought my third finger over to hammer-on the chord when required. Piece of piss! :) Completed Rhythm in Masterclass too - about 92% - and also Lead (only about 92% - though I haven't had much time on it).. About Masterclass. I would like to see each week's competition stay open after the first week's final scores - for those of us that want to learn a song properly, ie Masterclass.. Learning the song on Hard doesn't (for me at least) commit the whole thing to memory and maybe keeping the competition open for those few of us that want to do masterclass (maybe for another week or two) would be great. Then there would be a tally of Masterclass scores. :) The numbers of people taking part would greatly vary, I'm sure, because I personally would want to learn certain songs more than others. Also, it's not every week you get songs you want to try...

Will do some tests and see.. This one (that I'm playing) is one of the songs that came with the game..

@Monsta, try hammering on the E string note (with a spare finger).. U should keep your other fingers on the chord..

Hi all Anyone seen this? Basically when playing through a song, if you choose to restart it (press escape then restart song) the graphical detail for the hit and missed notes seems to be much reduced. It's pretty offputting and it's not as easy to determine which notes have been hit. Any 'glow' that was there the first time the song is played (and the notes hit on time) is gone.. To fix, I need to exit the song, start the song again and then do a playthough. The problem reoccurs every time I 'restart' a song.. Specs.. i7 Q3770 24GB Ram Radeon HD 6850 (with an R9 280x arriving tomorrow - mainly due to this damn problem Im having).. currently using Catalyst 14.4. Asus P8z77 mainboard Any thoughts? Not sure if it's my rig or a bug.. :( Cheers H

@@Psquiddy You can also do score attack on hard (when you're ready), which doesn't lower the difficulty.

Yep. Also struggled with bends at the end of Sugar/Lead.. Am i reading it right that a few of them start with the bend then releasing the string?

Do I wanna know (Arctic monkeys) is a good beginner song and you'll learn a lot from it.. Was one of the first ones I played in RS and it's apparently one of the most downloaded customs..
