Assuming there is a truss rod, try tightening it (to increase bow in the neck).

No more than about 1/8 turn per day - giving it time to settle before tightening again.

Oh, so I want to buy a guitar with a tremolo bar and so went into the shop with a few in mind.

PRS, ESP, Gretsch and Ibanez.

Tried the Ibanez SR520 and didn't like it at all. Looked good but sat really poorly.

Tried a Gretsch Electromatic and while I liked the look and sound, didn't like the size or the position (no playin high frets with this baby).

ESP they didn't have any in stock but I want a guitar in something other than black (my current one is black). ;)

PRS. Quite liked the Custom 24 SE but I am not sure about their own trem bar. They have Floyd models but are these any better?

Not sure if the Tremonti are worth looking at (but I wanted a 24 fret)..

So basically the PRS is the current leader but it still didn't grab me in store (though I liked it better than the S2, with its fat neck). How do the trem systems hold up on their own and vs FloydRose?

Anything else I should consider? Mainly for Rock though possibly Blues.

You can turn off master mode in the options menu... Means it won't kick in automatically.

Top tip.. If, like me, you put your PC in treehugger mode (balanced power plan) and forget to turn it back off again (Power CrAzY!), Rocksmith will be pretty damn shaky and unplayable..  So now you know..

Thinking about a guitar with trem too..

Current leader is a PRS, though not sure on exact type (se 245, tremonti or custom 24 maybe).

The PRS custom trem is apparently pretty damn good, though doesn't have the full range that the FR has (or the limitations).

Any experience with PRS??

This is the second Metric song we've had on the Championship - and I must say I am warming to them. Pretty good song; I listened to it on the bus on the way home from boozing last night (on Youtube)..  ;)

Anyway.. LEAD INT - 88% with a 61 streak. Not bad for starters!  :)

I'll probably not bother sanding afterwards (I don't have the paper anyway). At least in this instance, as long as I dont see the wood beneath the laquer, I'll be happy enough for now.

edit... That didn't last long. Just ordered some sandpaper. Might be a week or two to arrive, but I'm in no rush..

OK, so my guitar flipped forward when setting up rocksmith and thudded against my desk.

My ebony finish now has a small dint in it and you can see the wood behind.

Bloody annoying.

Anyone know if there's an easy way to repair it?

Its a Gibson ebony SG std..

Probably OK for rocksmith though.. Can't try it out, shop only has Line6 and another brand.. Might see what the Line6 is like though..

Screw it. Gonna try to have a look at one tomorrow. :)
