  1. Doable... Lots of chords though.. First run through.. 86% and 60 streak.. Definite room for improvement (with probably the easiest Solo I've seen in this competition).. ;) @@lordlk, thought you were in Masterclass before? ;) http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o680/Hostilian/Capture_zps5ac75d4c.jpg
  2. I was talking about when u go into riff repeater and try to change the difficulty... Crashes every time. I had to remove DD and repackage before it worked..
  3. Crashes for both Lead and Rhythm.. EDIT.. Fine (well, it doesnt crash so far) if I remove DD from all parts (RLB)..
  4. Jet (are you gonna) is causing Rocksmith to crash out (to desktop) when I go into RiffRepeater and try to increase the difficulty!!!! Not good.. :(
  5. Yeah, yeah, I know - pretty basic.. :) I'm wondering if anyone could link to any guides to adding sections to existing custom DLC please? There are some songs and especially some lead sections that I'd like to break down into more sections and have next to no clue how to go about this.. I have messed around in the toolkit and unsuccessfully in EoF but I'd appreciate a guide or link please? Thanks in advance!
  6. Yep, please don't put me up into advanced... yet.. This week's Intermediate is much easier than most other weeks choice..
  7. Back in Black and Highway to Hell (albums) on my personal stereo when I was 12 - messing around in the sun in Majorca.. It wasn't a song in particular, though it's always been a toss up between the title tracks on both albums... Good times! :)
  8. How about using voting buttons? Miss one week and you're off the list..
  9. Ok, so working from home today (not feeling 100%) and have a few minutes at lunchtime... edit.. INT Rhythm.. 99.65% with 255 streak.. Still didn't think I missed any? http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o680/Hostilian/Capture_zps9a1922c0.jpg Previous pic was for...... INT Rhythm.. 99% with 273..
  10. Same as me.. I have a leather office-type chair, with armrests (which are a pain). I have been looking at the same Gretsch stool (above) online last week as it happens, though I believe it's not actually leather?
  11. @, I didn't say it was a waste of time?!?! Nothing of the sort.. It just didn't feel right when I tried some Bass guitars out.. I felt it would mean I would devote less time to my 6 string but the main reason was the 'feel' of the guitar. Just not for me, though I know a lot of people that have and love them.. :) Who knows, I might try again when if I ever get more time on my hands..
  12. I thought the same @@storm20200 and went in to try a few Basses out.. Unfortunately, they just didn't 'connect' with me; so I left disappointed. :( I suppose it would also take time away from practicing Lead/Rhythm.. I'm still on the lookout for another Lead guitar though.. :D
  13. Ummm, OK so I had a few mins to spare.. INT Lead.. 198 streak with 92%. Intermediate is definitely a whole lotta rosie, sorry, whole lot easier this week.. Doubt I'll be entering another one this week, so good luck all.. :) http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o680/Hostilian/Capture_zps73c2bf53.jpg
  14. @@Rodman Check you don't have any duplicates in your DLC directory - maybe different versions of the same song?
  15. Very easy INT Rhythm part.. I'm not going to chase the 2 notes that weren't recognised (as I won't learn anything by doing so and the song is boooooring - no offence to song selector).. ;) Chord practice for me this week.. :) http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o680/Hostilian/Capture_zps3b065327.jpg
  16. Struggling.. Though I know it's a level above my current ability.. 92 streak and very slight improvement to 86% MC RHYTHM. http://i1337.photobucket.com/albums/o680/Hostilian/Capture_zps5d3ad5b0.jpg
  17. Yep, fair enough. A competition is just that, a competition. 1 week is probably best for this purpose.. When you're learning you want something more though. I personally want to improve my skills and learn songs that I really want to play. Concentrating on a competition, when I should be learning chords, scales and technique is maybe too much to fit into a week, so I guess (as a beginner/intermediate player) this format doesn't work for me - yet anyway.
  18. I was hoping the single-song threads would be unmanaged.. They should manage itself as there wouldn't be a weekly winner or anything.
  19. Not getting higher than 85% on JumpITFire Rhythm (previous screenshot).. :( Just too fast for me at this stage..
  20. @@storm20200 How about if you get maybe 10 requests for a particular song to have its own thread; it gets one? :)
  21. Got it! :) Oh and... http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/hall-of-the-mountain-king-r3926
  22. Oh I agree.. But I can dream. :) You could go with maybe top 40 classic rock as voted in whatever magazine or website??
  23. Add school to that and you've probably got 99% of people here.. ;) I'd love to have certain classic songs - you know the ones; Stairway, Back in Black, Enter Sandman, Sweet Child etc etc etc - to be permanently open in their own topic as (I dont know about you) these classic songs are ones I'd like to dip into, er, all the time to learn properly. If I can do it online with others with the same goals then great.. :)
  24. Yes to Advanced, but I'd prefer a greater choice of songs to play in any one competition week. Also that it was over 2 weeks instead of 1. The second week could even be to move your knowledge of a song into MasterMode (to really learn it).. At least if there are more songs to choose from (lets face it, we all have different tastes) you would have more people playing in any one week.. You could also try more than one song over the two weeks; if you had the time.. :)
  25. Yeah, but its easier for runs up and down the neck - scales etc.. :)
