There is only one small ad on the bottom of the site. If you are seeing more then one I'd suggest running some anti malware software. Also Adblock.

I also use mouse and keyboard. I see no reason to use a gamepad :/ Would be such a hassle really. With keyboard i can easily jump to different artists and switch between sorting methods. Using a gamepad for that... gross... On the topic of modding. Rocksmith is a pretty closed of game from what I've heard.

Short answer. No. To not invoke the wrath of ubisoft we do not allow any for of an official dlc. The only exception is a cover by a different band.

Rocksmith 2014 does not crash with notes over 22 frets. If you go over 24 however that is a different story. The warning that EOF is giving is for the original Rocksmith. So if your cdlc is crashing it's due to something else.

I can confirm for you that not everyone in the RS audience likes Metallica. I for one hate it. The musical preferences are quite wide. and age has nothing to do with that. I like power metal myself and almost non of the popular power metal bands have no official Dlc yet. But oh well that's what cdlc is for.

I would say no. I can see the entire database getting flooded with imho poor quality CDLC. Creating a CDLC takes time and should not be a drag/drop thing.

It totally depends on the song for me. Sometimes I can crank out a perfect song in under an hour. That is Lead, Rhythm, Bass, Vocals, RR and DD. Other songs take more time. Things that will save you some time. Make a good database of tones that you frequently use. And name them correctly! Example. Toolkit name: Distortion Filename: Distortion - Sabaton That way you can quickly look for a distortion tone without having to change names. Make a folder with all the Album Art. And name them correctly! Make a preset in WWise. Instead of making all the changes by hand. Just build a preset that you can use every time. The most important one. If you are starting to get tired of the song. Stop! Go watch a movie, read a book, play some guitar, make another song. If you are losing the motivation to finish the song. don't force yourself.

Every Tuesday we add the new CDLC that releases that day. We hope that people buy the official ones when they are released.

Well, you pay for the rights to play the music on a specific console. And it isn't just ubisoft that gets the money. If you buy a song on Xbox. Microsoft gets a cut, If you buy a song on Steam. Steam gets a cut. ect.
