  1. Thanks for your replies. I have another question related to this. I sometimes find 3 notes exactly like that but on a Chord. 3 notes in the same fret (sometimes along with a fourth on a different fret). And Rocksmith clearly asks you to put your tips fingers 1, 2 and 3, at the same time fretting 3 contiguous strings like 5,4 and 3, let say on fret 3. Now my question is about hand position. Of course i have a hugh issue to push 3 of my sausage styled fat and short fingers in the same fret next to each other fretting 3 contiguous strings. But also doing something like that instinctively makes me rotate my handwith the wrist pointing up to the headstock in the same position you would SOMETIMES see a musician fret a Cello or a Double Bass with hand rotated roughly 90º wrist up and fingers totally pointing down to the guitar body mostly like this: Ive read a lot about the classical hand position and im improving a lot thanks to that but sometimes i discover myself doing this. Is this that bad. Is it usual to see someone do something like this. Have you guys saw this before. Is it a useful technic or simply a mistake.
  2. Apprentice here. If you find this are you supposed to move your index finger tip and fret each note one by one. Or are you supposed to fret the first one then lay the rest of your finger like in a chord and again pick them like in an arpeggio. http://s2.subirimagenes.com/otros/previo/thump_9771114r.jpg Another question i have, is when you play a note that is NOT a sustained note but that it is alone, i mean far apart from the next note, are you supposed to mute the note or you should simply pick soft enough to not make it sound for a long time. Or maybe releasing the freting finger is considered all you are supposed to do.
  3. Ive reached a point where ive been forced to clean up tons of cdlc that i did not want out of the ones i load and actually play. But i still would like to keep my songlist more neat, and to achieve this i though i could make 3 or 4 folders in the dlc folder then using some shortcut or bat file change each folder whenever i want in a way that would make Rocksmith ignore that folder, to not read the custom dlcs in it so not loading them. Ive tried adding blank spaces in the folder name, ive tried changing folder property to hidden, none worked as cdlc where still loading. Would i have found a way i would have made a bat file for each folder so before loading Rocksmith i would simply execute the bats or shortcuts i need to enable or disable each cdlc folder i want, so to load only the cdlc folders im interested in each time. All this without the need of moving or deleting the folders. Any idea how to achieve something like this with a few clicks and NO folder browsing on each load.
  4. Apprentice here, ive read tremolo/whammy bars guitars are harder to get strings replaced and also to change tuning. Ive been playing with a simple 22 fret Fender without any tremolo bar. Im getting a new guitar and i only play Rocksmith should i skip guitars with tremolo/whammy bar, or it isnt such a big deal. Ive heard of tremol-no and also that you can simply block the tremolo putting something inside, or even adding or replacing springs. Anyway as i would be getting a new one should i simply skip them or thats makes no sense to you, i mean is it true that it will simply complicate everything beyond the usefulness added having a whammy bar that i may use from time to time (it is not that i dont like the whammy bar, indeed i like the idea of having it but not if 99% of the time it is only slowing me when chaging tuning, replacing strings, maintenance, and who knows on how many other tasks).
  5. CDLC to learn and practice chords (power chords thats their name isn it, like 6th-fret3+5th-fret5+4th-fret5, and also barre and any other kind of chords if there are more). Ive only found one for barre chords. You play lot of chords in songs but haveing all them in a lesson or a series of lessons would be the best way to squeeze them for 20 minutes or so nonstop.
  6. In the end i found the petition page but im still thrilled that looks like noone shares my admiration of this song and others like I dug my grave and walked away. Im starting to think that i may have an uncommon musical taste or something.
  7. If i delete a song from the steam dlc folder for a while then anytime after that i paste it back again in the folder, if i had made any progress on it will it still be there or will i be force to start from 0%.
  8. I stomped on this song that looks awesome, i found nothing in the database, and they dont even look well known, i though i should make a petition but dont find where if any is the correct place to make em in custom forge. Well. I dont get it cus this sound to me as one of the best riffs i have ever heard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theset
