    CDLC Requests

Requesting A Long Fall, from Final Fantaxy XIV Online. Specifically the cover by The Primals, which... honestly these guys have my dream job because they compose music for this game AND are this band. Couple fun tidbits: This song can be acquired in game for your personal jukeboxes and is extremely rare due to the restrictions on even getting to the dungeon it drops from. People confuse the song name with "The Twinning" which is the name of the dungeon, but "A Long Fall" is the actual title. All of the dances these guys do in the video are dances your character can actually acquire and perform in game using the /emote system. Originally composed by Masayoshi Soken, lyrics are in English although with accent and heavy vocal modification people confuse it for another language (Japanese most frequently). Has very catchy parts for lead, rhythm, and bass! Thank you in advance, video and lyrics below. Lyrics: A drifting tender Come ride, heroes, ride Her galleon severed Away with the tide The storm head gathers Come ride, heroes, ride Illusions scattered Away with the tide Time Try, dare the dead tread ahead on a road that is borrowed design Through the sum of their sons do they seek tomorrow Tonight, witness then as the end shall begin what was final Their lies, folding back, further back, ever back to primal A drifting tender Come ride, heroes, ride Her galleon severed Away with the tide The storm head gathers Come ride, heroes, ride Illusions scattered Away with the tide Time Try, dare the dead tread ahead on a road that is borrowed design Through the sum of their sons do they seek tomorrow Tonight, witness then as the end shall begin what was final Their lies, folding back, further back, ever back to primal
