  1. You also get more points for "perfect" notes than "good" or "late" .. im sure its a simple points modifier, i just dont know the exact formula. you can easily test this by playing a few notes, back up and play the same few notes again .. notice that the score will probably be different.
  2. lol and i JUST put 8s on my new guitar! that figures :D still cant wait tho!
  3. I for one will truly miss your customs.. thanks for everything you have done so far! and best of luck to you on your future endeavors!
  4. The usage of cdlc isnt hidden, the game saves will show it, and if you do the leaderboard challenges, it is saved there also. This much is known, however ... ubisoft doesnt have license for the songs used in the cdlcs, so they dont have a reason to care .. its not their fight.
  5. right there with ya! heres a few of minehttp://i.imgur.com/OGGUUkd.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/3AVAl8I.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/qCVxAAf.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/8k9Bngb.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/6oWtxSY.jpg

  7. Noony .. i just want to say, your videos are inspiring! simply amazing! keep it up
  8. None of the Yellowcard cdlcs have DD.. guess what duki is probably filtering :)
  9. your dlc turned me into a newt! well.. I got better
  10. I would LOVE to play some Brad Paisley! i have a few GP tabs .. but i cant vouch for their accuracy. however .. you could also check out here ... http://www.halleonard.com/search/search.do?subsiteid=1&keywords=brad+paisley
  11. Firekorn ... the ambiguity of assigning genres to music is why i suggested giving users 3 spaces to define genre. You would not be required to use all three, but it would make things easier to use. I would limit the genres available to only a handful. just like using red, blue and green (or yellow). you are able to create any color in the world. using rock, country, jazz .. etc would allow you to fairly accurately define the "genre" of the music.

  13. actually.. that sounds about right
  14. Have you checked the websites for your local stores? The 2015 models are coming out in the next 2-4 weeks, so most places here in my area are having inventory clearance sales to dump the old models. I'm always skeptical about buying guitars online, unseen. You never know what you're getting in the end. Lots of places that sell guitars at high discounts online are selling b-stock stuff. i have only checked guitar center, (its the only store thats close to me). and your right .. the new models are coming out, so they are having sales to move off the old stock. as far as buying online vs in a physical store .. i really dont recommend buying online. guitars can have quite a bit of variance. even in identical models! the neck may or may not be in tune with the body. there could be issues with the fretwork, finish of the paint, fitment of the neck joint ..etc .. this isnt as much of an issue since guitar companies have started using cad/cam to carve the guitars. but since the final assembly is done by hand. there can be variances. I'd suggest goign to a store, playing everything they have (dont bother looking at the price tag .. ignore it completely!) then see what fits YOU the best .. different people have their own criteria on what they are looking for in a guitar. What may be great to someone, might be unplayable to you, and vice versa.
  15. @@rummhamm87 what i was trying to get at was.. taking a $300 guitar, marketing it as a $1200 guitar, then "putting it on sale for a low low price of $400".. is not a good deal. its shady practice at best, and to avoid a libel lawsuit, i will refrain from mentioning what i really think of it. Any of the sites i mentioned earlier carry mid range ($300-$500) guitars.
  16. It sounds more like its an issue with your computer not remembering where it is. this is done usually through cookies, sessions, or sometimes (rarely) through javascript .. make sure you have these enabled and try again.
  17. IE is the best web browser in the world!! (for downloading Chrome) :P
  18. DBZ is the guy who used to be/own Dean guitars ... while they are undoubtably very good quality, i would be very skeptical about the $1200 price tag ... they routinely take a $400 guitar, market it as a " MSRP $1200". Many companies do this, but considering they ARE the manufacturer .. the retail price isnt 1200 .. .its 400 just sayin. with that said .. you can also buy guitars online from guitarcenter.com, musiciansfriend.com (which is owned by guitar center), or carvinguitars.com (they are a very high quality custom shop).
  19. In my opinion .. the best way to alleviate the problem of assigning genres, would be to allow the addition of multiple genres, for example, acdc could be classified as rock, metal, or classic metal. just a thought
  20. personally .. instead of moving files, i often just rename them .. rocksmith ignores anything that doesnt end in "_p.psarc"
  21. I just wanted to chime in .. Scotts bass lessons are really great!
