They're all 3 good bands.. Linchpin by Fear Factory, and Regenerate, and Arch TYpe are all badass songs! But those are no where near my favorite rock bands..

I have noticed if you have your dlc folder over in the "Quick Access" area of file explorer. If you're putting your cdlc in the dlc folder that way. I've ran into issues as well. Today I went in to my Rocksmith.INI file to tweak some settings, and it wasn't even in the Rocksmith folder when I clicked the RS folder in Quick access. But If I did the standard C:/ Program Files X86, steam , steam apps, Common, Rocksmith... IT was in the folder then! I don't know why that happens

make a play list and select all songs except the ones you don't like would be my guess.

Do they say _p.psarc Or do they say _p.psarc. ??????????? did you install the DLL file in the Rocksmith folder, and not the dlc folder? Also make sure you have Cherub rock. I'd advise getting on youtube. You might find your answer there, but keep checking back. I know I'm not the only one who's peeped this thread!

whats happening? what system are you running? Try deleting, and reinstalling the dll file. Just do a search and you'll find the link. or type in dll file on google, and it'll bring you right back here, only to the page with the link.. Delete the old file, and replace it with the new one.

CustomsForgeSongManager. Also... I would try right clicking on the windows icon in the bottom left hand corner assuming you have windows. Click search, and then type in .psarc. When you see a file come up in the selection, right click on it, and select open in folder. My CDLC got thrown all around, and it's taken me 3 weeks to figure out how to hunt them down.. I had almost 1900 files renamed, and fubar'd so bad you can't imagine. But they were all still on my comp. I just had to find a way to rename them. And should you come across any of the same issues. The program Rename It! Is easy, and efficient. Lastly, make sure that ALL of your files whether they are in your dlc folder, or somewhere else on your computer are named _p.psarc. Exactly how it looks _p.psarc The only files you can't rename, and shouldn't are _p.psarcc which typically are your original dlc files. Goodluck

save all your CDLC into another folder. Uninstall, and then reinstall RS, and Steam. I wouldn't use the CFSM. But that's just me. It wouldn't play a 3rd of my cdlc. So i just make sure I dl the correct DLL. file and paste it in my RS folder, Then I copy, Cut, and paste all of the cdlc's into the new dlc folder, and all seems to work typically when that happens. Go back through and see what the last few CDLC you downloaded were. Sort by date in yoru file explorer. Some CDLC are corrupt, and can cause you 10 shades of shit you don't want to deal with. Just my 2 cents bud. Goodluck.

But they don't show up. None of them do. I deleted and reinstalled CFSM, and the dll file. Here are a few images of what my folder currently looks like. On this first one, you'll see the file highlighted at the top, and that is how most of the files look, the ones that actually have names are bought DLC, and the one down below the mouse has selected are shortcuts. I haven't deleted any of them yet, But i Know there's massive amounts of copies! HELP!

I can't figure it out.. CFSM keeps crashing, and throwing up a log report. I'm thinking since I've tampered with the fiels so much I sould just reinstall Steam, and RS again, and then put the dlc files in the folder and follow your directions. What do you think?

It's 2:19 am. I've been at the bar all night. I hope I do this right lol! But I miss the **** out of my CDLC! I wanted to jamt he minute I got in, and I'm so dependent on my CDLC songs for fun, I don't even play without it. I have RS on my XB1 also. But it's shit compared to CDLC with PC. How will that help me restore the files I have to their previous version?

Just like the title says.. Basically I moved my dlc files over to another folder, when Rocksmith 2014 (Remastered) kept crashing due to a Windows C++ Runtime error.... Initially the game worked after updating my drivers. But then it happened again, and I decided I'd just go ahead and reinstall Steam, and Rocksmith both. This was after I had already deleted, and replaced the updated dll. file like usual when I have a problem with Rocksmith. The problem is, when I reinstalled the cdlc files into my dlc folder. Something happened!!! I only had about 1\10 of the 2600 songs that should have been there. Furthermore... I don't know if I clicked around on a bunch of shit, or what happened.. Because I couldn't find them in the Recycling bin either... I finally did multiple searches, and searched .psarc files on my computer and found what appears to be all of my Rocksmith songs... The problem is... EVERY single one of the files except 3 or 4 are RENAMED a file with a bunch of numbers... For example instead of reading. As_I_Lay_Dying_-_The_Darkest_nights_p.psarc like it typically would... They all now show up as 1033_22000_999_000_p.psarc etc... To make things worse theres MULTIPLE COPIES of the files.. I have like 22,000 files now, and I've tried using a duplicate file deletion app, but it was a bullshit trail, and wouldn't delete but 4 or 5 duplicates before continuing any further unless I bought the damn thing for 69 bucks... I've looked for a few others, and I will give them a try. I didn't have file history turned on, prior to the day I somehow managed to **** all of this up! I've tried to "restore previous versions" but there is none to restore on any of the p.psarc files! So in a nutshell I have all my cdlc files it seems, but they're all renamed a bunch of random numbers, and underscores. Ihave no damn clue how to get them back to their original form.. I've even tried opening the files in notepad, just to see if the code mentioned the band name, and title where I could manually start renaming the files.. So did I lose 9\10's of my cdlcs??? I appear to have all of the files, and shitloads of copies now which is CORKING UP my entire hardrive.. I just haven't deleted any of them yet, due to the fact I would like to get my cdlc back if it's possible... Does ANYONE have a clue, how I can get the files back to their original version where it had the artist, and the title listed??? Also I don't use the CFSM, I have it, but I just recently uninstalled it. Because when I tried to use it for the100% bug fix, I noticed some cdlc wasn't showing up, and I'd rather have my cdlc than fix the 100 % bug fix... Plus that only applies to some songs in particular! But I did try piddling around with it, after installing all of the p.psarc files back into my dlc folder in hopes that the game might recognize them. But I had no luck. I am stumped!! I damn near said the hell with it, and deleted all of the files because I have no room on my hard drive at the moment. This is my last attempt, in hopes of restoring the files, before I say **** it, and delete them because I can hardly operate my system right now... . I have been, any cdlc I've downloaded in the past two days will make my RS crash. I just moved the files I DL'd into a new folder until theres a fix... It still runs without any additional CDLC's being added to the dlc folder.. I messed around with it earlier and screwed up RS all together, so I just now reinstalled it... I'll let you know an update.

anytime you have problems with Rocksmith loading, or crashing, could be from viruses through songs, or just your internet in general.. What I've found typically fixes ALL PROBLEMS at least for the most part. Is one save all of your songs onto OneDrive, a cloud, or a USB Flash drive.. That is easy! After that, go to your rocksmith folder which is located under (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014 and delete your D3DX9_42.dll file, as mentioned above in the other post.. Then just come back here to the do forums, and if you'll notice int hat red area close to the top of yoru screen it mentions bug fixes, etc. Just download the D3DX9_42.dll file and save it to your rocksmith folder again. Sometime I delete my rocksmth.ini folder and just copy and paste the settings of a new one in my rocksmith folder too... I don't even know if that helps but basically in short if you'll delete your dx file, then download a new one, typically that fixes most crash/function issues. As for 100% bug well thats all back in the red area.. There's also a rocksmith configuration file in your rocksmith folder, which shows you how to tweak your audio settings for the best results/latency. In there is where you can find a new Rocksmith.ini example if you choose to delete and copy a new one. Anyway Goodlouck bud. Sometimes you will just have to reinstall the game.. youtube has videos that show you how to set up cdlc also..

Here's the best guitar cover I've ever seen period! It's of that song I told you to check out.. Defender by As I lay dying. I wish someone would put up their other songs Parallels, and Overcome.. They're equally as good if not better!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And definitely more songs by the band Sevendust.. There's only two on ignition right now and their latest album is SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also another band you should look into if you enjoy this is Any Given Day - Arise. That song features Matthew K. Heafy of Trivium in it... They're BADASS! But that might just perk you up enough to try making some of their CDLC's that way we can all enjoy them! ;) Anyway Here's a video of As I lay Dying - Defender.. This is one of my favorite songs and it's on Ignition.. I just wish whoever uploaded all the As I lay dying Songs would at least put up their other songs equivalent to this called Overcome, and Parallels... These few songs alone if you enjoy the type of Rock that I think you do will keep you occupied either by learning the tabs outside of RS. Or as requested you can upload them on CDLC... I pretty much knocked out 2 birds with one stone here by tossing some good bands your way, and cdlc request at the same time since nobody ever looks at the damn request forms! I keep seeing shit like Rotting Christ, and a bunch of bands written in other languages on ignition right now, and I don't think our post should get moved everytime we hint at wanting someone to put up a new song.. Dude oh man.. I'm just here to shed some insight on song choices.. You seem to like alot of the same type of rock I do.. But Check out Parkway Drive. They are a bunch of Australian surfer dudes that are badass metal players! They're SICK! They also have a full documentary out of them touring all over the world on youtube.. It's a badass watch. Look into Tremonti - doesn't matter , As I lay Dying- Defender, start with those songs and pick and choose the others you see on Ignition.. Some other bands are Woven War which was all the previous members of As I lay Dying, minus the head singer... Another good one is Wage War, Polyphia, Intervals. Let me know if you need anymore help. Those bands alone will give you an ear gasm if you give htem a try

I don't know if some of you are familiar with Wovenwar. But it's pretty much the As I lay Dying without Tim Lambesis on vocals because, well he's in jail lol.. Anyway.. Same badass guitar riffs, but with clean vocals. They've released two albums now, and the first one was amazing!! I just figured some of you might not know about them.. But if you enjoyed AILD you should definitely check these guys out.

How has anyone missed this song? It's my favorite, and if not the best on their newest album.. But I hardly hear anyone say a thing about it? The same could be said about As I lay Dying with songs like Overcome, and Parallels. If you haven't heard any of these 3 get over to youtube right now.. and Someone needs to upload these on to ignition.
