  1. Just uploaded: Merry XMas Everybody
  2. Started doing Slade's Merry XMas Everybody, but never got round to posting it. Maybe it was a 'tone' thing? Not got access to my kit where I'm at just now, but if someone wants to give it a test, I can post it with any required toolkit tweaks. Bass, Rhythm/Lead.
  3. I do this sometimes too. But it would make life a bit easier if all I had to do was tick a box/select a file in the toolkit. Is there a technical reason why this can't be done? Would it break the chart having some spurious files in the archive?
  4. Would charters be up for a new option in the Toolkit to allow the creator to include the applicable EoF files in the .psarc archive? This would negate all the issues that PC Plum discusses above, and would make tweaking customs to your own personal tastes more of a breeze. It would also be beneficial to charters, who could get more accurate feedback/help around issues. Or just make it simpler to provide a missing bass arrangement to someone, or new bonus arrangements?
  5. Here is spookier witchcraft (aka voodoo), and all done in software, Jam Origin's Midi Guitar. A functional demo is available on the site. Works great with the rocksmith cable and maybe some applicable ASIO4ALL drivers.
  6. You shouldn't be replacing the original 'DX9' file. Simply copy "D3DX9_42.dll" into the "\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Rocksmith2014" folder.
  7. I mark all sections like this by also adding an RS phrase at the same points. http://i.imgur.com/1UYh8MT.png
  8. As others have said, and, the audio portion of the psarc file accounts for maybe around 99% of the total file size. The arrangements, tones etc. are just a tiny bundle of compressed text/xml files. Therefore the size of the file will be mostly related to the length of the song, the length of the accompanying preview audio, and the compression levels used at all three stages of audio encoding. Low compression levels can create a >20mb file from a 5min track, higher levels will get that down to <3Mb. The length of the preview audio, and the compression levels used are probably more important factors.
  9. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ebmed486b3v7o4o/AABmEsb7ab1zaxuzJm6MdM2sa?dl=0 ~ Not got round to uploading it yet...
  10. Just a note that this should not be attempted with PS3 charts, as it will mess up the encryption...
  11. One way would be: Select one of the notes you need to change then do a 'select like'. Copy paste these notes into a new arrangement. In the new arrangement, delete any notes that you don't want changed. Then do what you need with the remaining notes and paste them back into the original arrangement, overwriting the original notes...
  12. Think a bug's crept in somewhere, download links are busted on the majority of my customs now... e.g. http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/cum-on-feel-the-noize-r3454 Thanks
  13. Very good :) I tend sync using the beat/metronome, listen for the beat changing and set anchors around those points. Not always that easy though. Then I listen through with clap on and correct, then listen with midi tones to catch bum notes early.
  14. WTF? Sometimes A, sometimes B, sometimes C, sometimes D.
  15. What you wanna do, is donate $5 and get your name plastered on the front page. Save all that f*kn' about for months on end for 3/1 thanks ... ;)
  16. Maybe a thanks button included on the search results page? Next to the download link? Leechers Folk normally return there quite often...
  17. There should only be a single note at the start prior to creating the arpeggio. When you define the arpeggio, the chord will be auto created.
