  1. If you used the preserve stats option it might've saved the difficulty at 100% if you played it before (tho idk for sure since I don't really use DD or the song manager) You can select the whole song in riff repeater and manually scale back the difficulty to a more manageable level tho.
  2. Works fine for me without any notes disappearing. (although the song is out of sync) If you have DD on and miss notes it starts to remove them again, or maybe you didn't select the whole song in riff repeater before maxing the difficulty. The skyline at the top should be solid purple if everything is max difficulty.
  3. oof need to practice those chords It's to hot to be playing metal here, I'm melting.
  4. Doesn't seem to be happening to me, DD seems to be generated correctly. Try forcing the difficulty to 100 in riff repeater (space in learn a song mode) or playing in hard score attack and see if it still happens Having a proper look at it, turns out the tab is completely screwed and the repeats/missing sections make it not line up with the song at all. It's also missing some of the outro. Can be fixed with a bit of copy pasting. I bet it's also why you had issues syncing it properly. Here's a fixed tab and a properly synced eof project (with guitar and bass) for you to look over, might be a handy reference. The "Part_Real" .xml files are the new ones. "real_guitar_22" is the bass one, but you should just be able to open the .eof file.
  5. You need to turn override to max on, otherwise it just freezes the difficulty to the current level instead of forcing it at 100% and disabling DD. Looking at the song it still seems to be missing a lot of notes tho, but that's an issue with the tab not being very good. I'd use the other guitar track in the tab instead, but it still looks a bit off to me, maybe they need merging together?
  6. Game doesn't like my D string much. Quite nice to play tho. Need to work on the orion chords, it's killing my fingers. I'll try guitar later, tabbing a song and cba to re-tune for now.
  7. Click the close button in the bottom right corner. You should just fill out the info in the config screen to stop it appearing every time you open it tho.
  8. I'd suggest not moving notes around manually, it's very easy to mess up the song if you don't know what you're doing. Stick with importing the guitar pro file. If you haven't already I'd also recommend making your eof window bigger and increasing the zoom level (1/5 works well for me) since it's borderline unusable at it's default resolution/zoom level. If you're not entering the base bpm of the song first you have to sync the whole thing instead of just making a few adjustments to the beatmap which makes everything way harder than it needs to be. ^^also give this a read It just takes some getting used to, being able to match the tab with the song. Keep at it, once you get there it becomes way easier.
  9. I assumed it was removed from the sidebar to reduce clutter but since you can no longer view the video tab on user profiles I think it's been removed completely.
  10. ahhh fretted the wrong string near the end and missed a note
  11. If you've downloaded it a few times make sure the file still ends in p.psarc or it wont appear in-game (or see it if appears in the song manager, maybe give it a repair). Double check your filters to make sure it's displaying all songs in-game too. Looks like it should work fine since tho it's got the correct appid and has DD, maybe something weird is going on.
  12. I think they're string mutes/fret hand mutes not palm mutes. Most of them being notated as open strings is probably wrong since that's the default in guitar pro for dead notes and most people don't fix them for rocksmith. Generally I play the muted notes on the same fret as the note before them unless properly marked.
  13. Most of the links in the workshop threads died because of the changeover to Ignition 4 and the new link format. They should still exist in the database if you search for them, or you can take the number at the end part of the url and add it to https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/ eg https://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/the-sky-is-a-neighborhood-r30935 to https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/30935
  14. You set it in the toolkit/dlc builder configuration settings, it saves so it's a one off thing.
  15. oof Better on bass not bad seems a bit easy
  16. Looks like mega updated yesterday/today and changed their url from "mega.co.nz" to "mega.io" killing a bunch of links. Even manually fixing the url still doesn't let you download it. old mega links should be fixed now here's a reup
  17. 2017 should work (as long as it's 2017.1.XX version) Make sure you've ran it atleast once to accept any eula or tos Toolkit should detect the path automatically from the install or you can set it to the "Authoring\x64\Release\bin" or "Authoring\Win32\Release\bin" from the config tab. You can get 2013 from here if you want to give that a go tho.
  18. How's this? otherwise I'd just play the other version, since it's got sections, vocals and all the other tracks too.
  19. did you save in eof to update the xml? otherwise send over the .psarc and I'll have a look
  20. Did you change the xml in the toolkit to the new one generated from eof before rebuilding it? It doesn't update the old one but makes a new one instead.
  21. Song probably just doesn't have any sections so you can't select different parts in riff repeater. You can add some yourself but it takes a bit of work.
  22. Right click on it in cfsm, click edit song information and you can change the song volume from there. There might be a better way to do this, idk
  23. Ending solo is missing? oh well, more % for me Also think the arpeggio section is missing an odd note. Quite nice on bass. Had to try this too Oh this is real fun, gonna need a few more goes on this.
