That was one of the reasons I left 2-3 years ago. I don't know why other people leave but I guess there will be more people leaving if they are somehow "forced" than someone who never wins because there is a guy that wins almost every time. My bet is that anyone from beginner to advanced will always prefer to be in MC, if they had the option and the playing quality, that's the top level on RS CS. We are all aware of a good number of ppl requesting not to advance, so maybe instead of giving exceptions give free will to everyone :) What's the point of upgrading and you can do <70% on MC (if this rule is still alive) and downgrade again, or worst people not posting their >99% scores Also we can still now see that pretty much in all categories there is one or two ppl dominating the entire class E.g. B - 1 , I -2 , A - 1 , MC - 2. @@johnal I don't know what the * stands for and what rules are applied. I've noticed some on the rankings.

@@Rodman I can understand your point of view but to be honest if I'm in 4th place and in 8th place on lead and rhythm, and what I believe this rule of >99% is intended for is to avoid the same person winning all the time, I'm not that guy as it is possible to see by the results and standings :) Rules are written and I respect them but I just gave my opinion that's how things change if everyone or the majority support it. I know if i advanced to MC I still can play other songs but we all like a bit of healthy competition right? And again I'm not dominating so I'm not taking the pleasure of other people being able to win Regarding being afraid to move further, aren't we all on this for pleasure and getting better? What's the point of moving up and doing scores of 80% and worst of all playing the songs very poorly. Isn't it the best feeling in the world when in some way you master a song you love that was a challenge? The trick in my opinion is playing songs a little bit beyond your current level, which the advanced class did wonders for me :) that it's not noticeable because in the background I bust my ass off to play them well and not playing the other songs @@meelo I agree that Coheed was probably the easiest song to play on advanced that I found. Let's see what will be tomorrow's song. :)

@@Rodman and other moderators, If I do >99% on the advanced rhythm this week will I be forced to move to masterclass? I just want to compete in equal terms with my Finn friend @@meelo :) , it's a bit hard trying to achieve the best you can and then <99% eheh PS: Can I ask why we don't abolish that rule instead of getting exceptions from now and then? In my case I don't mind someone else winning every week without being promoted to the next. Specially on a class like Advanced, I can understand this on the beginner and intermediate. Just asking.

@@meelo I dont know, sometimes I use a drive pedal before RS to give more grit because sometimes RS is a bit trebbly. The only thing I used differently is a pitch shifter (guitar was tuned to D and I increased a semi tone for the song. Also don't forget the guitar takes a big part on the tone. The guitar I used is very bassy(cheap Basswood body) and with a big output volume so maybe thats the reason it sounds different. If you have another guitar try another one or maybe switch to the neck pickup.

I had the same opinion at first, but then I played the rhythm track which filled in the blanks. I'm not entirely sure that the rhythm guitarist actually does the squeelies, but I wouldn't go as far as saying is the absolute worst tab there is :P :) eheh I've been playing here for two months, so if it's the worst I found it's not as bad as it looks :). And I was mentioning the Lead part. Didn't try the rhythm though. In my opinion, I wasn't counting with the big gaps that is a bit non sensical to me and I was doing the same thing as you filling with the rhythm part but again in my opinion there was some muting missing, vibratos, fills etc and the solo doesn't sound right. I probably not getting this by myself 100% siince like I mentioned this is rock and it's a lot more diificult to transcribe than for example metal. I though the same thing with the Kinks and Tom Petty solos. :) but I was just saying this in good faith because years ago I was just guiding myself with tabs and it wasn't sounding right and I though the problem probably was me, it was partially true but not entirely some tabs weren't accurate.

I don't like to give bad reviews but I believe this is probably the worst RS tab that I found, generally rock RS tabs are not quite good as metal (because they are more difficult to transcribe) but this one is so wrong in a lot of places. I see this was based from a UG guitar tab exactly the same :) Well at least you can train your ear. On other hand Coheed was really fun to play.
