Well I won't get too much time to work on the solo for this one. I'm out of town the rest of the week. This will have to do. Damn you @. You had to tie my score last week. What makes it especially painful is I had a 195 streak on a lesser attempt. I'm getting closer to winning one of these. I'm gonna keep working at it!

First time in a long time that I have to take a break due to fingers hurting. I blame trying to get all of the slides in this song and Coheed.. Oh well, there is no way I was going to be able to get close to @@Stark_Knight on this one..

Can't get some of the chords to register in SA. I can't handle stupid failures well... so I choose not to. I'll try to check out some of the other songs this week.

I love the song, but I just can't seem to figure out the rhythm of the main riff. I just sorta fumbled through it This song is too far beyond me to make any sort of headway on it

I had no idea that Judas Priest put out a new album. I really like this track as it fits my playing style well. I don't know if I have another 1% in me. I worked on this one a good bit this week. I got a new job that cuts into my guitar time a little bit, but I think I'll still be able to fit it in.

Made this one sound somewhat decent. That tapping solo is a little ridiculous. I can never seem to get those to register even when I know the right notes. This one changes strings and frets pretty quickly. I've got plenty of other parts to work on in the meantime.

Made a bit of improvement on this one. It's a fun song to play.

I like this song for the week. It fits my style of playing more than the last couple of weeks that I struggled with. I know that Extreme song is insane. I'll be flailing wildly on that one tomorrow.

Here's my attempts for the week: This song is fun to play Cool riff in this song This is another master class song I don't think I'm going to make much headway on this week. It's a bit too fast for too long for my taste. I've been practicing some Slash in the meantime until next week.

I liked the encore week as it gave me an opportunity to keep working on Europa. I can't quite get the 18th fret double stop bends to register with any sort of consistency. But, it is a fun song to play.

Really like the songs this week. Had some note recognition problems in Bath Salts with some of the octave notes, but it usually means I'm just sloppy. I had never heard Highly Suspect before. I downloaded all of their songs on here and played through them. There are a few good ones. Serotonia was my favorite, other than Bath Salts. This song is fun to play. Spent a little time in RR to make it through ScoreAttack. I got some more room for improvement.

@@Stark_Knight, I've let you down. But, it wasn't for a lack of trying (You can see this was my 40th attempt on this song, this week; not to mention several hours in RR) I've hit a wall with this song. And I started thinking about why I can't improve. I realized that I don't "get" what he's trying to do in the solo. I can't find the pattern. No matter how slow I practice in RR, the notes seem arbitrary. I can't find the flow. I'm definitely improving as a player, however. Just going to chalk up this as a loss and work at it again next week.

So I've made some improvements I don't really feel like I'm playing this one except for a few isolated parts. The rest of it is just grabbing whatever my fingers can find and hoping for the best. I knew @@Stark_Knight would post a really good score for this one, considering he picked it. I'm hoping that I can get to 80% before this ends. I'll consider that a moral victory. There are 2 or 3 riffs that I know I can clean up some. Just gotta keep working at it.
