    I got it to work. I had to use the Rocksmith 2014 patcher. Hope it works for you too OP. The link can be found in this videos description

    I have the same problem. I have Cherub Rock and another official DLC, both play fine. I have the d3dx9_42.dll I also made sure that the CDLC I downloaded was for PC and they had the Cherub Rock ID but I only get the speakers and amp too.
