  1. I'm not the best with making customs, but i hope this helps:

For the chord pulloff, i'd be personally using handshapes to notate chord-pullofs, so you have the initial chord, then the notes it's pulling off onto is notated through handshpes, while also using the pulloff marker.

As for the slides, if you just use the build in slides and just set an end position, it will look fine. This does depend on how you want your slide to look though. If your song has a set end for that slide, i would use a normal slide (CTRL + Up/Down) However if you're sliding from the (Lets say) 12th fret, and it goes to the 1st fret in the timing of an 8th note, i would personally use an Unpitched slide, otherwise Rocksmith won't detect it very well, and it looks quite bad in game too. (CTRL + U) In both these instances, it will bring up a box asking you for the ending note, in the pitched slide, you want that number to be the fret you're landing on, however on unpitched slides, (For the sake of this let's use the same example) If we were going from 12, i would have the unpitched go to 7, as it makes the slide a lot more readable.

I hope this tiny guide helped you, and i'm sure if there's anything else you need we'll be more than happy to help

  2. What i'm guessing you mean is that you want the modern country-type sound to come from a hollow body, like Jace Everett's guitar. Personally i dont think i can help much here as Country isn't my type of genre, so i don't think i can really do much to help you in terms of pickups. What i would suggest is trying to see what other people do with their guitars. The pickups he uses are H-H style, so maybe a Gibson would be more up your street? As you said, you are mainly going for that body shape with those pickups, so what i would suggest is maybe buying a plain hollowbody guitar and then buying pickups for other parts for it. Sorry i can't help more, but i'll see what i can find in the near future

  3. After actually doing some deep digging on finding this, i do believe it's a Gretsch, not sure of the exact one, but i'm 99% sure it's a Gretsch. On his official website there is a picture of him playing a guitar on a bed, which matches every feature to a Gretsch (Shown here: http://www.gretschguitars.com/gear/build/hollow-body/g6136tfm-dchy-limited-edition-falcon-with-bigsby-tiger-flame-maple-tv-jones-dark-cherry-stain And Here: http://www.jaceeverett.com/store/#!/Red-Revelations-CD/p/58596290/category=0 ) The guitar which i think matches your wanted guitar almost exactly is the Brian Setzer Signature model (Seen here: http://www.gretschguitars.com/gear/build/hollow-body/g6136slbp-brian-setzer-signature-phoenix-hollow-body-with-bigsby-tv-jones-pickups-black-lacquer ) It doesnt have any tone knobs on the bottom of the guitar and only features those shown on the music video too. It does seem like he has a arm rest installed onto his guitar, but i'm not too sure about them. Hope this investiation has helped you out, and if you're wanting to buy one of these, i suer hope you are rich

  4. Started strong this week! :D

Love shack was dreadful for me because of the tuning (new strings that don't really like low tunings) But i still think i got a good score

Then Tomadoi Recipe. Oh my was that fun. Shame i fon't really like this type of music, because that is some killer bass. Just 0.1% off earth2mars too!

  5. In my experience with bass guitars (and personal preference) i have never liked Ibanez's, and i prefer stuff like P-Basses over J-Basses

I personally use a Warwick Streamer Rock Bass, cost me £400, and i would recommend it so much, except for slap.

I would suggest getting a Squire: Here

Or if you're looking for metal-ish i suggest this: Here (even after my dislike of Ibanez's)

I'll try to update this soon as it's early in the morning for me (12:20 here) Hope this helps!

  6. Here was my first try at Alison Hell. Was pretty impressed and i quite like the style of play. I personally think this should be ranked a 7 or 8 in difficulty, but just my opinion.

As for Sidewinder, this went decently well, but i just couldnt hit some of those juicy notes, and rocksmith (for me at least) doesnt pick up slides well, so i have a feeling i lost at least .3% to that. Either way, good song, good band, good memories.
