  2. firekorn's post in (solved) View issue on selfmade CDLC (notes get "chopped off") was marked as the answer
@@asgerrud and @@raynebc this is due to a lack of section and phrase in the CDLC so the camera stay fix and doesn't move anymore at all (while it was handled a bit differently before the remastered).

Add section and make a proper CDLC first or you'll end up with tons of bugs that will cripple your CDLC.

  3. firekorn's post in CDLC for console players? was marked as the answer
@@Trovahkiin First it requires to have an hacked console which is far from the majority of users and it isn't possible on the latest generation of console so it really reduce the number of users that can actually properly played CDLC on a console.

Then any psarc can be converted to the platform of your choice using the toolkit and any user that play CDLC on console will likely have a PC or MAC to dl and do the conversion if need be.

Then on another end, where to properly put the available files for each platform? If all version of the CDLC is available in the dl link, some people have issue selecting the proper file and it makes dl slower anyway. If it's in the author note, some people don't read it and it's not as fast to reach the files.

It's because something has changed somewhere in that project so you will be asked to save It show that there is Note in that difficulty on the active track It show that there is Tech Note (F4 to see and edit them) in that difficulty on the active track and :

You can get rid of most of them by doing an Erase Track which is under the Track menu.

Make sure that the config xml file can be written by the toolkit.
  9. firekorn's post in no Real Part Guitar Files was marked as the answer
Get the latest version of EOF and this should be enable by default.

Side note if ever : In EOF=>Files=>Preferences=>import/export make sure you have the "save separate Rocksmith 2 files" box ticked

  11. firekorn's post in Note head not showing was marked as the answer
The second time it doesn't happen because (i guess) the chord is on the next section which cause the game to break any linknext status and show the chord as picked no matter what.
  12. firekorn's post in How can I connect make a rocksmith setup with pedals? was marked as the answer
@ Guitar=>Pedal=>RS cable and everything will work fine, make sure to recalibrate just in case as a pedal might change the volume RS receive but nothing complicated or weird.

  14. firekorn's post in CDLC i made wont play was marked as the answer
I've just generated it with the last version of the toolkit and had no issue playing it.

Make sure to update the toolkit and that the beta releases checkbox is active in the configuration.
  15. firekorn's post in High or Low Density was marked as the answer
High density is what would be a repeat box in RS and low density is the full chord box.

  17. firekorn's post in Ideas for charting tap harmonics was marked as the answer
Sustain and natural harmonic have a hard time getting along (rare are the case of ODLC using sustain on natural harmonic) and i've seen many cases where the sustain on natural harmonic never really registered so i guess putting sustain on a tap+natural harmonic note isn't something that would work 100% of the time.

Here is the muse HO+natural harmonic ODLC :

  18. firekorn's post in Muted first chords in series was marked as the answer
You already have the tool to adjust the visibility of each chord by using the crazy status (to make the full chord box appear) or the high density status (to make the chord box appear as a repeated one).
  19. firekorn's post in Which folder contains tones ? was marked as the answer
it looks like the profile you choose didn't had any custom tone saved to it. Since you have multiple profile save, you might have choosen the wrong one.
  20. firekorn's post in How to change notes in EOF? was marked as the answer
For the fret number either using CTRL+ number for 1 to 10 and CTRL+Fx for 11 to 19 (can also use CTRL+mousewheel)

Or use the edit note panel by pressing "n" when you have a note selected, you can edit the fret number, the mute and many other little parameter in there.

For bend i strongly suggest to use tech note as they offer more control over the bend but the bend status by using CTRL+B works fine enough for a simple bend.

There's a lot of hotkey available so play a bit around in the menu and with your keyboard and you'll find an impressive amount of possibilities opened to you.

PS : also use the help menu to get to some basic tutorial and an hotkey list.
  21. firekorn's post in I own official DLCs, but none that appear in the toolkit repack list, what do I do? was marked as the answer
You need to edit the "RocksmithToolkitLib.SongAppId.xml" file in the toolkit folder with the correct appID of the DLC that you own.

Best way to know what is the AppID of the DLC is to unpack them and you'll find the a file without extension called AppID in the resulting folder.
  22. firekorn's post in Tabbing help was marked as the answer
I suppose the tab you have acces to are text tab?

If so then you're good to writting it down in GP as it badly import text tab (mostly because text tab doesn't really follow any format).

You could also go directly from the text tab to EOF and forget about the guitar pro step if you're more comfortable with that but that's up to you to choose which tool do you prefer to write it all down.
  23. firekorn's post in 3 AC/DC cdlc's aren't sorted correctly. Can RS Tookit fix this? was marked as the answer
You can import a cdlc with the import button into the toolkit (you'll need a temporary folder to store all the unpacked file) and then change some info like the sorting name directly from the toolkit field on top of everything.

Then generate the cdlc once you're happy with the changes and you'll get a new psarc file ready to go in your DLC folder.

  25. firekorn's post in Moving loaded mp3 was marked as the answer
You can "move" the song in EOF by using the "create lead silence" function which simply add silence at the start of the song.

Tuxguitar or GP aren't capable of loading an MP3 (or any song format as far as i'm aware) to check the sync of the tab. GoPlayAlong is a software made for that.

On a side note i tend to start the mp3 then just launch the GP from the place where i'm sure i am since the play function start from the point selected in the tab which isn't that complicated as long as you have some clues of where you are in the first place.
