  1. Thanks, I do wipe my strings down often. I'll look into NYXL.
  2. Not abuse as in extreme dives but rather a lot of use. I play on a fender strat, and I'd like my strings to last longer than a couple months. I'm currently using ernie ball .9's, I play a lot of blues and rock. I also switch between E standard and Eb standard a lot. I'm curious as to if .9 is a good gauge for these tunings and for blues, what would be a good alternative? My high-e string just broke.
