Yes, Cheap ones work mostly too. I have little longer wire so spent some extra coins about 13 total. Iits good jam sometimes with amp only without too much noise elsewhere or can use even game and amp to mix whatever sound. Also it makes expensive rocksmith cable to last longer.

It takes some time (work) to keep on track all songs and latest updates, but its time consuming hobby like any other hobby is. You can do it almost perfectly and use about 10-30 min/per day (nowdays) only to download all songs and updates and make sure there are no duplicates in dlc folder. But its choice, to spent some time and effort to have possibility to play (someday) all these awe songs, as charter wanted to be them played. My concern is only same versions of songs that are uploaded several times, it takes some extra time to download them twice or more, but i think its just part of this hobby, some extra time used... because i.m just too stupid to not realize i have this and that song already, with latest update.

My random corrupts have really stopped after removed all listed save file corrupt songs, anyone else experienced this? Haven't found any new for while, and since, i think, haven't have random corrupts for.... don't even remember... And huntervandam fixed one, so even somekind of fix advice for toolkitters is alive... Before removed last corrupting song random corrupts happened about 2-4 times per month. Hated random corrupts. No way you couldn't trace origin, but play songs one by one, making backups, until nailed next one.And then retested suspected to confirm. Its so nice when you dare to play again more than 10 songs in row, without backup or generating weirdo system to nail next one. Hope there will be no more save file corrupters in future and if there is, now there is hope to fix it. Who dare to try section fix for oldies? I suck with toolkit that's not me, but i will sure test those, and gladly remove on list.

Crashing in middle of song can mean loosing data so, save file corrupt is always possible (unlikely still). One crash don't mean much, random crashes do happen. Retesting is always necessary, before listing. It would be great if people would do that before report too.But I can do test later today (many more to test), but i haven't practice that song, and can't probably go as far as you do... so i don't suspect crash but bad and fast play.. EDIT: Rhytm score attack hard 279,964 second try, easier than suspected. So no crash nor corrupt for me. GOOD NEWS first save file corrupter fixed. In post #55 speculated that random save file corrupts happen due to save file corrupting song is in dlc folder. I don't remember any last month random corrupts because i have removed all save file corrupters that i have found. (Only 1 founded due to report in another page) Everybody are welcome to unconfirm those that are listed, and i'm just pleased if u can, because it would be list error fixed. Some of them are still confirmed only by me. Sad part is that there are no known cure for save file corrupting songs, and so many are just so awe to play, and listing them causes so much pain for charter because there is no real fix invented for them..I try my best to not cause unnecessary pain for charters to list something that i can't confirm properly, or is confirmed only by one person, but another can't confirm it. I suspect that there are many save file corrupters on loose still, that cause issues even without playing them. Most likely there are no save file corrupters in my dlc folder now, but after holiday and after downloaded almost 200 new songs case can be different. Because sharkman828 already tested both versions without issues i don't see any point to me retest.these versions unless someone else or you specify version that causes issues. My version causes no issue. Reports are always welcome, but as you can see in many cases i can't confirm them. Eventhough listing save file corrupters cause pain for charters, more pain causes loose tens of save files forever without proper backups, so i keep on listing... to confirm one ... to make less total pain.

Zwitter tested OK, Ich tu dir weh was already played to % and OK, so no save file corrupt BUT... There are 2 vesrions of song you suspected, So... which one did u play ? (don't tell which i played yet, kind of test to get real confirm) You can easily check version by comparing file size of 2 songs, both are seen in upload list, and can be downloaded. Testing and confirm or not only if you suspect another that i haven't played yet. Anyway, Thx for report, waiting details, and possibility to catch another save file corrupter. If confirmed it would be first reported and confirmed. Way you tested seems very catchy, i suspect over 90% possibilities too. :-P Sorry answering delay, did offline more than suspected..

Reports for working combos, and not working are welcome, test (if i can(can't test every official or removed dlc that i don't have)) and list them. By Update i tried to mean song update. Good you succeed to fix cryin. By the way... Jansku changed "prename"... meaning cryin should named (toolkit(DLC Name)) like artistnamecryin' not cryinxxxxxx. Not sure if its matter, but it can. So few testers for this issue. Edit: Direct file name change effects are uncertain to me (remember that I tested file name change too without success) but if you will test those more and see it really works ... i could test that fix again and add that fix too to my topic.

Tested Hurt combo and Sweet Dreams combo; both will work.You must have out of date updates. Some charters have started to fix these conlicts and that's great thing... listed them as working same namers. Cryin' was alreasy listed not workingc combo... rest can't test. Listed such...

Ok, Think its better copy paste advice here... :-P Fast fix for Same Name crashers.: Thx for Jansku, smirocsmo If anyone choose to avoid crash problem with other same named song without changing game name try this, have tested 2 crashing pair of songs succesfully. In Toolkit, just change DLC name. (name usually writed “together” for example like:TheBitterEnd. Change it for example to InsomniumTheBitterEnd. Game name doesn’t change, but crash with other song will be avoided. No change for other song needed, both will work. So you have to use toolkit for other pair of song... (if you remove other song from dlc folder that's not fix, but other will sure work)... By the way, If someone can write fix better, more helpful form can copy paste it to my topic. Think its confusing :-P I think, not many even know that i have tried to find all crashing same namers and have been listing them since i founded first... With help Jansku and smirocsmo figured out how they could be fixed. so that game name won't change. Its game bug so, i don't report conflicting same namers. Charters song works, and player causes issue by bugging game... :-P If you want to avoid or/and fix same name crashes just check list of crashers etc its pinned in general topic and not hard to find... Would be also helpful if people would fix these and send to charters and charter then would upload... if that is done please report to me so i can add them as working same namers. Don't follow or report conflicting same namers. Just too busy, to fix all now and test report and send to charter... So help is needed. If decide to fix and test it works... try to communicate with charter. Mostly they listen to reason. Fixing even one means less confusing crashes for many. Less and less issues with songs, so great job for charter. Founded out that its now more common that same named song works than not. It used to be opposite..I think same name issue is noticed by most charters by now, and they reset DLC names so that conflicts happens only seldom. Thx for that, crashing is never fun even if charter haven't done nothing wrong... only game bugging. Less and less dead toners too, people do mostly use latest toolkit, and even tone songs more frequently now. Last 100 pack of new songs and only few issues with new songs.. When i started to list songs, issues/song were about 1/10 now they are almost 1/100. I think this is good time for me rest while and have holiday... . 23 day start playing again, and wishing only remove some.. . You can report here issues while, but I can't make any changes to list until 23. Can't make changes with my 5 euros Nokia in cabin with no electricity, but i will burn some sticks sure. I just to try be useful someway, after/while played so many songs. I would like to direct all THX to charters, toolkit developers, and page providors. But sure its feels good to hear my fun hoppy pleases others too. ALL Reports are wellcome can't do this by myself anymore well enough, just too many songs to handle alone, but that's of cource awe. But it makes me beg some help... list errors, save file corrupters, same names and long timers... crash, dead tone, jam, misc...not fixed--- are very helpful to report here. I will test and list them as soon as i can... i will not list all issues as soon issue appears, charters have to have about 2 weeks time to fix issue after report on topic issue unknown to charter. Today only 20 new songs played, only one tune issue, but most likely that will be fixed soon, so no list addings and that's always great...more greater would be only delete some until list is empty.

I haven't had any problems with Cheap Sunglasses but Werewolves of London corrupts my profile when I play it. Confirm/tested what u said...adding only (can't confirm other),Werewolves of London to list it was already reported to charter.

Can u remember these "suspected" corrupters? Could test them, though most of cases cannot be confirmed as source of corrupt... I've had the tone issue dozens of times, but I've only had the corrupt file problem three times, so the dead tone thing doesn't necessarily lead to corrupt save file. Some people have mentioned that certain songs have caused the problem, though. I f we could figure out what the cause was, we'd be a long way toward solving the problem. Think so too... Sure in dead toners can be some save file corrupters too... like among toned songs... there are over 100 dead toners.

Yes, I have a bunch of never played customs on my dlc folder. No prob, we can't never play em all if we keep downloading more... charters are just too fast (AWE) :-P Just take backups and have fun, and get used to chaotic randomness... Or U could stop downloading and play em all.to %.. then you could destroy or verify my belief in random corrupts origin. .. If they would stop i would :cool: if they would continue i would :shock: I never believed that mortal could keep 5*** customs in same folder... without MAJOR problems. Lets keep it MINOR 1**** :-P

Tested one more time, song was included in random pack, no save file corrupt. My view is that if even one save file corrupter is in dlc folder it can corrupt save file in random, you don't have to play it. I have random corrupts nowdays about 2-4* per month. play lot, and Have many untested songs in dlc folder. So, being not careful... Other possibilities are unknown to me, tell me if somebody knows... sure can guess, but thats pointless. As long as i have untested songs in dlc folder i'm believer that i will catch more of them :) Test style: my way is to take back up just before i start suspected song (Game is on)... back up works, but latest save file won't. Song that corrupts get never % (after restarting game), because it will always corrupt save file during previous session after played. This is way i have tested 2 confirmed already suspected save file corrupters... tested only one time, other confirmed only by me... Free to unconfirm them way i presented, or other way, and report here... Random corrupts act differentially, they destroy somehow all backups during latest game session. As if game was programmed to corrupt save file when you start it. And when you next time play same songs that last time, (suspected corrupters) no save file corrupts occur... I just can't confirm any random save file corrupters, sorry. There must be 99% way, to confirm song to corrupt save file when retested. Without 99% confirm i can't list them... this list causes too much harm for charters if its not reasonable accurate and verified. If you or anybody else have any better way to point out how song can be confirmed to corrupt save file, just tell me... By the way, have you piepesado any unplayed songs in your dlc folder? If you do... one of them may cause this corrupt too.. for moment i thought this one would be easy to confirm but it wasn't.

Thx for report, first test did cause save file corrupt. Played 5 songs pack, so have to test one more time it alone, then confirmed. Testing more Tomorrow... Hi lahelio, did you had a chance to test that custom alone? Its the only custom I added when save file broke. I think that a custom alone does not corrupt save profiles, I think its when there are other customs, the guy who did this custom said it works fine for him and hes friends, so he and hes friends don't have the same customs as I do. Maybe this is not an isolated issue with a specific custom but when this customs has other x custom on the dlc folder. Yeah, did. And as you suspected no corrupt alone. Need still "pack" testing. Haven't figure out "rules" for save file corrupter yet. I keep mind what you said and check this issue still. This save file corrupting issue take so much time, and effort that i certainly hope other people too... who know "how to" backup test and info about these suspected corrupters. Playng "packs" where these songs are included. And if developers gurus can hear, why this happen? What kind of bug does this? Any idea?
