  1. Hey Folks. My daughter requested I cdlc a song for her, Fall Out Boy- My songs know... I've done a few other cdlc's that were a dog to align in EOF but the tabs available for this were perfect. I was able to complete it in 5 minutes! Now I want to learn about tones. I can't seem to find the tones that came with rocksmith 14, and I have no idea how to make them...plus I have zero skill, I'm just learning how to play the guitar at 42. Chainsaws, loud cars, loud music and a loud wife have probably resulted in some level of tone deafness. Next up I'd like to attempt a few acoustic songs...so I can actually jam with some friends...image at my age jamming in the garage! So instruction or direction to acoustic tones or a tone library if one exists would be great. Any and all help is appreciated! https://www.dropbox.com/s/77rjdyp0frl2ybp/Fall-Out-Boy_My-Songs-Know-what-you-did-in-the-dark_v1_DD_p.psarc **edit**: I've had another look in Rocksmith, I should be able to grab an existing tone. How do I find it in EOF though, I just see numbered gibberish rather than a song name.
  2. Thanks guys. Mike I sent you an email. I'm going to have another go at it this weekend. I might try going through the process with another song and see how that goes. Cheers for helping out. Vic
  3. First let me say thanks to all you guys working hard on these CDLC's. It's great! Okay...I'm a total guitar rookie, a middle aged guy using Rocksmith 2014 and other lessons to learn how to play. In the past 36 hours I've put into Rocksmith I've improved immensely, and can get 90% on the simplest of songs. I thought I'd try to make my own CDLC as I'm mostly interested in easy (not easy to play) accoustic songs...John Mayer, Ben Harper etc... and tried to make a CDLC of Let her go by Passenger. I worked through the entire wiki tutorial (next up I will try the one posted above) and created the CDLC but when I try to use it the song does not start...I can see the first note and if I attempt to riffrepeat it the chords will flow by after a bit of time...but it too freezes. Any ideas? Should I just have another go at it? I do understand I have no business as a rookie trying this but I actually found trying to match up the notes with the beats and track taught me...I don't know...an ear for it. Sorry again, donkey rookie, I'm trying. Cheers, Vic
