I checked out the forums here with the search feature but didn't see any tutorials on how to go about creating CDLC. Can anyone point me in the direction of some reading I would love to work on some and contribute to the community. I am specifically looking to create them on my Mac but if required I can run windows under a virtual machine.

Can these be converted to other platforms using the toolkit or are they PC only?

I have found that when I click download it doesn't take me to a page listing out all version such as PC, Mac, PS3, etc. It would constantly send me to the PC download page for any songs I attempted to download. I am on a Mac so I went back to the old search tool.

As someone who has never played a real guitar (Rockband and Guitar Hero don't count) I find the DD to be a very nice feature. When I start playing a song that does not have DD I just can't keep up. I am still learning the notes as I play on beginner mode and without knowing the real notes it's very very hard to get more than a few hits through a fast song :) I welcome DD in all songs that are released even once I get to the point where I don't need it others will. I don't download any CDLC that doesn't have DD currently because they just frustrate me making me want to put down the guitar :)
