  1. hahaha, i suck sooooo hard in temple of bends i think i never played it more than 45s until i died. I hate all those mini games, they're totally weird for me personally And yeah i dont know why i miss on the arpeggio, i know im playin the notes and ally but still get a miss, its freaky. A quick second pick on the b string while im going up with my hand fixes that, but its stuff like that where you have to compensate for the failure of the game which i think shouldnt be necessary for a beginner who doesnt know better.
  2. @@Blazikiller, I, generally, agree with you. Its a big help if you feel the groove of a song, and i must say, i totally suck at the Cryin song (in relation to it being a Advanced song, im around 84% the last time i played it) , my bends aren't really perfect too and i dont really like the way bends are displayed in RS generally. I always have to sort of search for the right bend, i think it would be way better if it just would say bend 1/4,1/2... of a note or something like that, but thats a whole other story, haha. As im now in ranting mood, yes @@MilkmanDan RS isn't perfect in recognition, at least as it seems on the guitar. Theres so much random misses going on sometimes, where i have to take a step back and just keep my cool and remind my self that the thing that matters is that it sounds right to ME. Good example right now, the postcard song and the arpeggio after the sweeping/pentatonic stuff. I get a miss on the note on the B-String (on the Am7 etc etc) about 90% of the time. I'll have to pick that note 2 times to get it to register properly, and im 100% sure im picking it on the down-sweep the first time. RS is really good in note recognition, maybe too good i think. if your note is just that tiny bit of a MHz out of the tolerance range of the confirmation that the note is properly played or too much interference of the other strings ringing, you'll get a miss. (or the recognition just sucks...) The thing that iritates me is the variation of these recognition problems from player to player. (guitar related?) As why its better on bass i dont know. Thicker strings could be more stable or some voodoo stuff. I'm atleast 95% sure, that yes, there definitely is a recognition problem going on in RS, and not every note you play (correctly) is recognized correctly (which makes 100% runs so infuriating on guitar sometimes). Therefore my goal, the majority of the time, isnt to get 100%. If i'll get to 96%-99%(depends on song/cdlc) thats 100% for me. And another score to end this post, theres definitely still room here ;) Postcard Lead, 96,78%
  3. Wish i could play a MC class song on MM...but my memory sucks Im mostly, on MM runs like this, play after ear. Theres only 3 different sections in this song, so i just listened ( with lots of fuck ups on the changes) whats playin right now and i let my hands take it from there^^
  4. 2 updates Postcard Lead, 94,5% Postcard Lead, 92,55% MM
  5. update on postcard Ninos Con Bombas - Postcard , 93,81% i have to agree with @@Nacholede that this isnt really a MC song. Even if you could call it one, its a really really easy one. The arpeggio is a little bit tricky because its fast, the rest is just simple chord strumming/sliding with some fillers. Couple more RR sessions and it should be pretty easy for me Despite all this, the song really grows on me, and i wouldn't mind for a easy week. cheers guys!
  6. Hey guys! Did a few runs on the songs, and so far i think there are cool songs this week. The Metric song is, although kinda boring to play, kinda cool. Concerning Coheed i got these two: Coheed & Cambria - Far, Rhythm 98,89% MM Coheed & Cambria - Far, Lead 96,34% MM I'll see if i can push the rhythm part to 100% and the lead up a little bit more, i fucked up the solo/outro on it. Satriani - Cryin This one felt like i was in a 80's romance scene.. Im still not sure how i felt about it, Fucked those bends up quite good. This song will be a good challenge for the advanced guys. And to the MC Lead one: Ninos Con Bombas - Postcard Lead, 83% This one is super fun, i really like it, great choice @ ! I have to check out some RR tomorrow. ~cheers guys
  7. Soldiers of the Wasteland, 81,17% Never again!
  8. Some Juular Juular I love the rhythm in this song, and what a finger stretcher! But i dont know if i'll tune down for it again. Made a run on the Dragonforce song but again achieved like 76% and i didnt want to play 10 minutes of that again cheers
  9. Hey guys, some review of the songs Deep Purple is Awesome. Nothing more to say. Space Truckin No Fan of Good Charlotte + this one is, in my opinion harder than the space truckin one. Atleast it took me more by surprise as Space truckin. Like It's Her Birthday Havent playe Juular, yet. But damn... Open B Tuning AND its Rhythm MC :( I'll have to see if my guitars can handle that Soldiers of the Whatever HELLO NO. I played this song sort of tired, and it felt like being raped for the entire duration of the solo... at the end of it i just leaned back and watched it go... No way im going to even attempt to learn this properly, hahaha. Im going to get this one to 80% for diehard status and that will properly be it for me. Cheers guys, have a great week & a relaxing sunday!
  10. Crazy Day! I played Sweet Child O Mine like a madmen. https://www.dropbox.com/s/73ylbjcb1flrugx/47841422717613240.jpg?dl=0 (95,39%, 187 streak) That was my best run, and after that i was totally excited, send my roomate, who follows my progress in this championship this picture, as he knows i was 2nd place. Right after i send it to him, i pressed enter and forgot to take a screenshot in rocksmith.... Well, as i didnt know for validation wise, i made another run and got a slightly lesser score Sweet Child O Mine 94,58%, 224 streak Im a little bummed that i didnt got to the 95,39% score again, but man this solo is killing my fingers... i tried to get a MM score, but there is no chance i can get that working CHeers guys! and sry @ :P
  11. Yeah, there is definitely a sync problem in the chorus, i think, where you have to play just before the lead guitar should be. Was a real pain to get that right (wrong) in MasterMode.
  12. Sweet Child O Mine, 91,38% im onto you @! got those bends sorted out now (except the 22th fret bends..) really have to look into that fast section in the solo now (thats where the X is coming from)
  13. those bendings are not such a big problem, most of them I got right. Always important in bending is always the correct strenght, not too soft or hard, that's the difficulty in bendings. The problem here are those short sections, just one or a few "wrong" notes (or not proper bendings, maybe also bad recognition) will give X, then XX and then you're out yeah totally know what you mean. i think its funny, as this song generally isnt that hard, but its the details that will break your score/X you out. A comfortable run without an X would probably be in the 95-96% range
  14. all those bends in the solo really fuck up your run in my opinion. I, at least, have a really hard time in rocksmith to properly get bends to register, and in Sweet Child O Mine there are a bazillion and more bends... (fuck those bends on the 22th fret on high eb, all misses...) Right now i cant reach my own score of 90,58 again, but i didnt really had much time to practice, yet
  15. Managed this earlier than expected, but theres still room to improve. Mother May I Lead MM 97,25%, 378 streak (I think there is a slight sync error in the middle part of that song, atleast it feels like it.) @@Mortalo totaly fuck those D-Bends up, too! Obligatory Carl Barker screenshot, im still not really comfortable with this song Carl Barker Lead And the bane of all Guitar-Shops! Sweet Child O' Mine 90,58%, 149 streak Still awesome song thou. Yeah... needs work on the solo. cheerio!
  16. Great songs this week, especially Pink Floyd and Coheed & Cambria one, love these two, partly because im a sucker for progressive rock music ;P There definetly has to be Welcome Home and Ten Speeds of Gods Blood/No World For Tomorrow in the Song selection list as i think about it, really fun to play for lead guitar guys, while Mother May I is on the easier side of their songs. Mother May I Lead (Already had that in my song list... and like 10 other Coheed Songs ) I'll try to get this one to a high 95%+ MM run I only had one run on the Dance Gavin Dance song, where i scored 91%, but didn't took a screenshot. Dont really liked the song, but thats the genre in my part. Dont really like Hardcore/screaming stuff too much. I do, as all the other MC guys, think that its too easy for a normal MC song. Well, back to studying. Cheers! And as always have a great week!
  17. 2 new scores. Carpe Diem, Baby Rhythm Carpe Diem, Baby Rhythm MM This song, atleast it seems to me, has a really really shitty note recognition/timing error and the usual alternate picking on unsual chords problem (misses on upstrokes). Soooooo many random misses... But i couldn't let @@then3verend get #1 place so easily ;) And of course obligatory MM run. Amazing work on your bass scores @@Blazikiller & @@then3verend ... you guys are crazy! Dont think i will have another shot on Bat Country. I wont score over 94% without more time to practice Cheers guys!
  18. Little something i definitely wanted to do this week. I'll Get Even MM Lead
  19. Bat Country Lead Its already Thursday and i couldn really find much time with my guitar so this will have to do for now. Hope i can get to a big session tomorrow. Have a great end of the week guys!
  20. update Bat Country still lots of work to do on that song...
  21. New Week, New Songs, yeah! i tried to get time today for a better MM score on the maiden song, but that didnt happen. Definitely could have done better than the 92,5%. Well, new scores: Offspring - You're Gonna Go Far, Kid Offspring is cool, this song is cool, and its fun to play. Megadeth - I'll Get Even Already had this one in my game, because its fucking AWESOME! Love it, but i made lots of stupid mistakes on that run. This one smell´s like there could be a MM Score coming. Metallica - Carpie Diem Baby This one felt weird to play. lots of misses. Ok song from Metallica. Avenged Sevenfold - Bat Country Great song. Glad to finally learn it properly. Totally necesarry... I sucked on everything in that song, especially the bridge, hahaha I hope i'll have enough time this week to get some good scores for you guys ;) Rock on, guys & gals!
  22. i want to see that 99% score! Hallowed Be Thy Name Rhythm
  23. Hallowed Be Thy Name Lead yeah... still suck at the solo, but somehow got no X thanks to @@then3verend 's "trick" ;P
  24. See those two X's? Thats the tapping part, I havent really sat down with it on RR but i at least try to hit the 10 and 12(My no X run I did that) Haha, yeah. Tapping part and the part before it fucks me over hard. So much that it'll often give me 3 X's which sucks after playin nearly perfect for the whole part before it. It also does suck a little bit that the solo isn't split in more parts in RR.
  25. i dont think i will be competition this week, as im having a hard time on that solo. How do you guys play the tapping part? i can hammer on that string as hard as i want it wont recognize anything... maybe i just suck at tappping, never really liked it/learned it sufficient. oh well, but i got this, as i got frustrated with the lead part: Hallowed Be Thy Name Rhythm MM will see that i get to 95% on this one
