  1. ... So the problem is not caused by the brand, more the gauge of your strings. Generally you finger should always placed as close as possible to the next fret rod, not in the middle or the bottom of a fret. This way you need less pressure and the notes are sounding clear. For some reason one tends to press esp. the first and the 2nd fret too hard. Here is your fix: 1) Do place your fingers always close to the next fretrod (the finger may even touch it) as mightymighty @ pointed out. 2) Open your song, tune your guitar, press ESC 3) Now strum a few 100 of your desired notes / chords and monitor the "tuningmeter" down left. That way you can see how far you are off from perfect and can improve on your technique - esp. pressure applied. For the strings........ as @fripp said - its always you and its never the stringbrand. Still if you want a recommendation for longlasting wellrecognised standard tuning strings - http://www.themusiczoo.com/PDGImages/Ernie%20Ball_Regular_Slinky_646_A.jpg Earnie Ball Regular Slinky For low tunings (you need a decent guitar) very good strings that do not break at retuning to standard that last like forever are http://www.themusiczoo.com/PDGImages/Guitar_10_1.JPG Optima Gold .10 -.46 Thank you very much for an answer. Well, as I wrote to @ I'm trying to re-teach my fingers. Punch me every day!.. I'm using exact 10-46 =) Gold strings? Oh my... I have to google it. They are cost 3x of my current strings))) Anyway thank you very much for a teaching minute! ;)
  2. In this song you have a very low tuning, is it drop C? In your video's first run are many misses on that one note A1, also it sounds out of tune there: the pressure of your index is way to strong. On second run are no misses, also it sounds in tune, using a light pressure there, so what's the problem? For low tunings you need to play heavy gauge strings to avoid any going out of tune effect by pressing the string too hard and/or strumming too hard. So the problem is not caused by the brand, more the gauge of your strings. Generally you finger should always placed as close as possible to the next fret rod, not in the middle or the bottom of a fret. This way you need less pressure and the notes are sounding clear. Yes, everything is absolutely right =)Thank you for the answer. I'm trying to re-teach myself to place my fingers right to fret rod for several days. But that's not such an easy =) Well, will brake my fingers more and more =) P.S. I wrote the message above because I've got the same issue with "die die darling" which is Eb.
  3. Here's a picture for you to use: http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/simpsons/images/e/e9/Nelson_Ha-Ha.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20121205194057 Here's a video to apply to: https://youtu.be/AuJ-4QnPeP0 (i can't play so fast so far)
  4. Hello everyone. I hope his darling is dead now! Because I can't play the easy song. Again! I can't find the golden mean on the 2nd fret of 6th string! And I guess on the 5th string too. I can push the string till the end or I can just press it a little. And all the time I get that annoying "Streak broken", "Streak broken", "Streak broken". Broken and broken again and again! http://i.imgur.com/SfE3cQ9.jpg
  5. @@diddie17 that is awesome! We are fighting and winning! But. I want to speak clear. Even with 100% my play is very dirty. I think I don't deserve this 100% and this 2kk points. I played dirty, didn't comply some pauses and didn't use the palm mutes. So I think you should be higher on the leader board.
  6. @@diddie17 Man I did it! OMG. My left hand's fingers are stand bent now. http://i.imgur.com/6URMU0t.jpg Lead part is to fast for me =( That's now such hard actually. But too fast.
  7. @@diddie17 I still can't get 100%. My fingers! http://i.imgur.com/37Ehk9X.jpg
  8. Hey man! Just a little step and you'll crash all the results! I need to find another left hand and stick it into my chest. So I will can to play the song and do not move between frets. That's really funny! A challenge inside of a challenge! ^_^ Let's get 100%! :muscle: Hey, hey! Where's my :bear: again...
  9. @diddie17 http://memesvault.com/wp-content/uploads/Challenge-Accepted-Face-10.png http://i.imgur.com/fHgXLza.jpg
  10. I can't understand WTF is going on. SA droped my multiplier every movement between frets. My prev result was ~1.300.000 and now it's ~300.000 only. Uuugghhhrr!!! http://i.imgur.com/igkq71O.jpg OK. Guess I found my issue in my left hand!
  11. I can't find suitable picture with guitarist with stretching little finger for the song.
  12. Hello everyone. Have a nice new week! My fisrt result is http://i.imgur.com/BEoynnY.jpg

  18. @@diddie17 yes, Sometimes I miss 4=>2 slide. And I can play that slide right. And I do. But something's wrong. I can't understand. Maybe my new strings are playing with me. And maybe my broken bridge pickup buggy (I fixed it). But sometimes I miss one note on the yellow string. Anyway, as said @Motive - let's fight it! That's why we're here - to fight with our fingers, our strings, our minds!
  19. Well, I can't get a good result on the other songs =( I can't even get 100% on Depeche Mode. Every time one of notes get unrecognized. Every time! And Deep Purple is not such easy at all =(
  20. Hello everybody! Have a nice week! First tries on depeche mode http://i.imgur.com/T69HXgY.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mHKhcK8.jpg
  21. Well. I spent 2 nights to clean my guitar, to change the strings, to fix broken pickup. And i'm going to change the strings again. Cheap "fender" strings wase a fake. So my results are not impressive this week. http://i.imgur.com/6n7SNd5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/rY83uz1.jpg
  22. Do not pick a pickup with a screwdriver! Never! NEVER! Brake it. Fix it. Congratuilate yourself. Drink a lot of Vodka.
