It's nice to visit CF after a few months and see some new Metric cdlc  ^_^

I'm super busy right now. Recently I released my game on Steam (Box Kid Adventures - there is a free demo, so you can check it out) and I don't have time for a guitar at all. Only on Saturdays for a couple of hours, so I just play some fun stuff then.

I'll try to play some Scorpion.

Oh, Funkytown... I'll be honest that I didn't liked the song and completely forgot how it was going, so when making the post I took the rating that was in SSL. But now when you all have mentioned those octaves, I remember it, yup it's probably harder then beginner  :ph34r:

I felt that Gutter Ballet was faster and more complex than 2's and 1's as it seemed easier at 1st run, or maybe I played too much and it all meshed together.

That 100% needed focus but wasn't that hard to pull off:

I had a hard time placing songs this week, as they're quite similar in difficulty on rhythm. Or I might be wrong, that's also a possibility.

Thanks for making this week an encore of 300th, as I had no time to play the last 7 days (was watching swimming world championship and I can understand @@MaZtoR's pain and sorrow as his favorite swimmer, Sarah Sjöström, won only one gold medal).

Never knew this one, now I know why, it was very meh.

Quite fun to play, but that solo is scary.

@@meelo link fixed, something weird happened there. Wątroba was too slow as he posted his screenie after I posted the new week :P

Sylosis is one of my favorite bands, so good and fun to play.

I had hard time with those bass lines, all Foo Fighters, Fastway and Status Quo seemed to be beginner-ish, but I felt that Fastway is a tad bit faster than the others.

It's been a long time since I played that one last time...

I really don't like the drop chords...

Awesome. Your ultimate Metric headbanging tune. Unfortunately my neck hurts a 'lil bit since I was sleeping in a bad way for few days a couple weeks back, so I'm careful with headbanging.

Quite repetitive. Thankfully middle is exciting.

This one is fun to play.

 How could MTV or VH1, whoever it was pick Come On Eileen as the number one song of the 80's. It just pure crap.

 

For sure it is not the best song of the 80s but it is fun :) That bass line is so nice ^_^

More Iron Maiden and some Finnish metal. Fantastic!

 

Fairly certain Royal Blood's lead is bass.

 

Edit: the tab for lead is the same as for bass, and the tone has an added octave pedal. It's definitely a bass chart :)

 

The band has only bass player and drummer. I think that bass is played through a guitar amp or something like that if I'm not mistaken.
