  1. Start this week I would give this 3.5 and I agree that this is suitable for beginners, but regardless of the player's level this is very difficult to get 99% here, unless someone has no problems recognizing bends and long slides. It's worth adding that the alternative lead is the same chart, but with a capo on the 2nd fret and in E-Std tuning, so I think that the scores from this should count, because, for example, I prefer to put on a capo rather than tune guitar in F-Std. @ Rodman Nice song, chill and pleasure to play. This is really difficult to achieve a high score, although I rated it 7, maybe I would give 7.5 now, but no more. When I play it, it doesn't sound bad, but missed too many notes in the arpeggios or bends in the riffs. Wtf, why do Japanese songs usually seem impossible to play for the average guitarist?

  2. what a selection!!! Personal Jesus is one of my long loved song, but even more the Johnny Cash version. I've played Gipsy, very nice, I didn't take the screenshot so amen Also this famous song that gives a sense of freedom and those year (my bad sightreading = lowww score) And finally for mc, I agree with @ Mikson , why these Japanese songs are hard as hell? But I like this a lot, all of it. I love this genre (not a sightread, i've played 4 o 5 times): Rhythm is 6.5/7 if u don't consider the strumming that is very articulated and very difficult to reproduce accurately. Otherwise it goes up. Rocksmith is very lax on strumming so we don't notice it from the scores. And you may finish the song with the wrists burning. Lead is a hell! To understand the difficulty, I checked for some parts and I found only one partial guitar cover on youtube (like 1 minute of the song).

  4. From all the Advanced Lead songs I've been seriously practicing in the RSC this is the most difficult by far

  6. Minor improvement, Even At 50% speed I still get 90 Misses on the full song in riff repeater, I have to practice the difficult parts even slower I would love to see some Masterclass players tackle this and show that a 95%+ score is easily doable for them like they did in recent weeks If none of the advanced players gets over 90% towards the end of the week, shouldn't that tell us it's even harder than 7 or 7.5?

  8. Hi Everyone, It's my first week, wish I'd known about this sooner. Sorry for asking dumb questions, but I'm not clear on whether one is just supposed to post a screenshot or if the scores are supposed to be typed in somewhere. Thanks, and looking forward to more!

  9. This one surprised me. It has the sweep picking thing and then that lick on the B and E strings. Will need some serious RR to get that final section more accurate.

  10. just gave this masterclass song a shot cause of miksons comment and i agree with his statement. this song is more doable than the current advanced song imo.

  11. Cant you see - Great song , this is very hard to play in rocksmith , and also really long , im not sure if its should be 7 difficulty? maybe to learn this with tabs is 7 but on rocksmith its feels like 9 to me Gypsy - great rhythm cool song , would consider this as 4 difficulty

  12. There is no need to be sorry. You did nothing wrong. Getting a class promotion is an occasion to celebrate! If you think that ADV is too much of a challenge for now, you can always appeal the promotion. Or drop down later. Don't worry, just play & post scores.

  15. Bass It was the first time I played bass with a capo, I used a guitar capo and it worked Rather too easy for 5, more like 4.5. Diff rating 5 may cause promotions to be too easy! Here, the empty D string (blue) should be played on the 5th fret of the A string (yellow). Then it's much easier to play these mutes.

  16. Yeah - i appreciate your ratings too. Usually yours tend to be .5 lower than mine but we are almost always on the same ship. Rhythm rating sometimes i feel is way harder than bass where we have it quite straight forward with speed, positionshifts, patterns and technotes and in lead where the solo or melodyparts often quickly give a strong pull towards a certain diff... For me in rhy the main diff element is (next to obviously difficulty of the chordchanges) can one make the rhythm sound like it´s played in the song. Here that riff at the beginning: Clear MC stuff with the very very fast pattern switching from muted to open - i may suck extremely there, but for me even at that low speed in RR it sounds (recording too humiliating to post ) like a lame metal-riff which it clearly is not (and it´s even charted too easy and a bit wrong, it should consist of 2 different chords if am hearing that right). A (7) at least. For promotion to MC - yeah - sometimes a chart is not optimal competitionwise - like in cases in lead where a very easy long song holds a very hard short solo that does make it a high rating - but here - those lil fills are also (7)s i tried again a few times - a 99 is there on the horizon, but doesn´t come easy everyone - let´s work together on the most objective ratings on all songs continuously! Always give us your impression and a short statement if you like. Rock! Rod.

  17. Not much time to play this week... But I went to Slash's concert yesterday, nice party! Some Rhythm Good song, but difficult to championship. In rhythm path, it's even easier to have random misses than in a lead. I would say this could be 7.5 and could be a masterclass. However, the rating of 7.5 for this one is a misunderstanding. I don't know if anyone has tested this? This is 6, max 6.5, ok fast but there are no difficult chords or riffs. Unfortunately, Wednesday is too late to change songs in classes.

  18. First score for GOB! Definitely could have got 99% but with the low tuning I had problems with note recognition. I'm going to try with my twin humbucker bass to see if that makes a difference. I might be able to get 100% on this one!

  19. Hard song , I think that after few plays you could get used to the song , but still it's fast so need to practice

  21. Got to play with my new pitch box for the f# tuning.I'm just a casual player so I went with this cheap mooer pitch box over the digitech drop cause it was literally 1/10 the price and it lets you shift up as well. Seems to do what its supposed to do quite well for $35. I dont notice any latency which was my biggest concern. There is a certain synthy sound that isnt really noticed in the mix but I think all pitch shifters do have that to a certain degree. Very handy tool for me since most of my basses are short scale and don't like detuning. End ad.... Does it muddy the waters to post scores from other classes? I believe I'm in intermediate but I like to try them all. Exploratory runs....

  23. First impression is more like a 7.5+ to me, dozens of parts and 6 minutes long but we'll see. I'll practice it for an hour each day

  24. I Would give personal jesus 5.0 difficulty because of the tuning and tone darkness sympathizer i would give 6.5-7.0 this one is fast and pretty hard to hear the guitar (maybe because the tuning is not 440 but can also be because of the volume of the tone)

  25. had to start with that one hmm... fun story about that. That´s my own cdlc. After spending 2 days on creating it i found out that the song has recently been published as ODLC which was not yet listed in ignition.... so that´s my very personal jesus

  26. surprised this classic from depeche mode hadnt gotten chosen in the 547 weeks! i think the solo / last half makes this one of the hardest intermediate leads ive played in a long time! pretty cool. kinda dissapointed there was no path with chords altho tbf im not sure if its actually a guitar doing the chords or the catchy simple melody i think this ones bass path is alot more easy than the fleet wood one im not too good with arps..and i think itd be nice if it had some hand shapes even if it is mostly just the d chord/ variations. but yea pretty challenging for me atleast

  29. (5) is too high: it´s one riff only with the one bend the E String. You could argue (3.5) fur the non beginner tuning and for it´s rather fast. But (5) means you master that and you advance to Advanced Class, and you got one whole week. In comparison to our library it feels an ok challenge for beginners if they make the 99 over the week they make it to Int class - that´s somehow the (3) definition. Darkness sy - hard to rate a bit... yes (6.5 - 7) is a valid rating also. From my POV the rhythm is damn fast and very hard to make sound right, i take that into account esp. in Rhy path - so i´d go (7.5) Rod
