No way... this totally worked, on both systems! (I changed it to exclusive full screen and re-selected the same resolution) Thank you so much for your help on this. Now I'm off to try and track Blink-182 myself in EOF, as i wasn't fast enough to get it before delisting ;-( and it was the sound of my adolescence!

Someone on facebook managed to fix this issue by changing the display resolution of rocksmith (as the update had changed it?) It seems to be a fairly rare issue with only a handful of people experiencing this and we're not too sure what is causing it yet.

Yay, hat trick! Sadly, the gog arrangement is above my level. But since rocksmith tells me my score 'could be better', I'm gonna keep practicing this even after the week is over. I've been looking for a long-term-challange song in E standard that I won't get bored with too fast, and this seems like it. While I'm aware that probably nobody cares, I'm gonna post a score for this every now and then with my progress.

@ coldrampage @ Kernalunitus Ok, so this was a bit of a PITA because I got rid of all CDLC on my Mac, so I had to go grab one, convert, bla bla bla... In any case: opened Steam and RS had a kind of recycle symbol on it, so looks to me like it updated itself (but not Steam) I was able to play ODLC I was able to run a CDLC up to tuning the strings, but after that I got the loudspeaker screen of death (i.e., couldn't get into the song) I tried the patch as indicated in the video, which didn't work due to security on the Mac. Then I tried the patch given in Use CDLC, i.e., https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1ZKYtpB0vu2WnJWZzdtUkp6SU0/view?usp=sharing; same issue, so I went in to System Preferences and gave the thing permission to run despite being unsafe. Next time, Steam updated itself, then I got into RS, ODLC worked fine, and the CDLC also worked fine. Short version: applying the patch in the link above will fix the problem so long as you override permissions in System Preferences > Security & Privacy. (I didn't spend time looking to see whether the two patches are in fact the same, could be the first one would have worked had I done the override.) Let us know whether this works for you, @ Kernalunitus !

99+ finally

I do have a Mac and used to run RS on it, but have stopped since I bought the PC last year. However, I can try things if that would help. Later today I can try to run some CDLC and see what happens, before and after reapplying the patch....

Awesome week again! And the octaves on "Fire" are tough for sure but not impossible, this will definitely be a good song to continue to practice. I think the 5.5 difficulty is appropriate too.

I'm losing a bit from recognition so I could improve it, but it won't help because @ avastreg score is from a different galaxy

So. I can play the section with octaves at 70% atm but it all falls apart at full speed. Pretty sure I can get there in time, which I do not have enough of this week. Best for now. Great song.

Even with two public holiday days in a row I barely got time to play! Jeez. Bloody life admin, innit. Esp when it improves lol. Great song choices on the Rhythm Adv. and Coroner MC Bass btw - more of that please!

I would love if someone could do Sleep On The Floor by The Lumineers. One of my favorite songs and seems pretty chill and easy, I just don't know how to make it myself.

.........and always remember we are the customers and if we have problems with items we paid for we always have the option to never spend a penny with the offending company again. Lets hope ubisoft are just ironing out a glitch.

I had a version of Aching Head self destruct that was over 900mb in size for some strange reason. Deleting that dlc fixed the issue. Was a Version 0 so must have been very very old.
