I wanted throw in some David Bowie this morning last minute, This is a classic......and I worked in a shop where the owners wife only allowed us to listen to Contemporary Christian Music on the radio (not bad stuff, I'm a fan) or an album that was various different version of "Let's Dance". There were about 12 or 13 different version of "Let's Dance" on this album and we would listen to it on repeat for hours!

The only tab is a text one so it would be a fairly tricky starting point as a first custom song. You'd either need to convert it to a gp5 using tux guitar/guitar pro or enter the notes manually in eof. Either way you'd be pretty much have to re-write the whole thing and figure out the bpm/note durations yourself. There's a guide here for making custom songs that is pretty good but it assumes you already have a tab to go off. Using an already done guitar pro file for one of their other songs would probably be a better starting point and then once you get used to the workflow/tools you could take a proper crack at it. Otherwise stick a request in here and ya might get lucky.

not too much time again, only today... only one pass of this one: i got few passes of this one... i was getting to 100% when i completely missed the threat and got few notes missed in a row... that change from 17th threat and back to 7th/8th red and yellow was killing me... i could not make it again... therefore two screenshots.. longest streak and best % score. (do they cumulate for the best score ?

I've always enjoyed the bass on this one: Cool song, good album, but yeah it fits better as a bonus for bass: Classic Killers tune and the most enjoyable bass part overall this week IMO: And yeah, if we rate songs based on their most difficult parts this is definitely an 8 - the first third of the song has some very challenging parts and combine that with some incredibly fast strumming (enough to make me uncomfortable even with a pick) and the 9+ minute length, and I don't think I'll be working to improve this one. I enjoy this band and power metal in general but as a bassist it's not as much my cup of tea: What did I just play? It's a fun chart and it's over before it can get too painful but wow are these vocals grating:

Is it cheating if I play the slap parts fingerstyle? Also, I didn't notice it when submitting to the selection list, but as @ coldrampage said, it goes out of sync at the end parts. Sorry.

Bass: Ah classic! As suggested by @ Rodman and @ diceslinger , I raised the difficulty rating from 7.5 to 8. Now you can fight for 99.5+ and promotion to the masterclass! I tried to play those slaps and pops... I tried...

Hey guys, I'm brand new here. Been playing rocksmith with my wife for a year and change, I've been playing guitar for 25 years and she's in her second year of bass, so it's been really fun. We play on the PS4 version and don't have the PC (might fix up an old PC to run it, but time is limited with the kid and all). We'll also go down the Youtube route to check out CDLCs, but the majority are guitar based. Here's what I'm really hoping to find here: 1. Rilo Kiley - Portions for Foxes. Since we can't use CDLC, if someone had it in them to just hit record on a screen cap, and let the song run with the bass part on top, guitar on bottom, we would absolutely love this! (preferably withe the red bass string on top, but she can adjust). We'd just keep the file locally and play together. 2. ANYTHING ELSE Rilo Kiley/Jenny Lewis related. I know the aforementioned is the only CDLC in the database. I would be willing to compensate for any new tracks. I also happen to have some software that will separate vocals/bass/music into different tracks which may help speed things up. I used to teach guitar as so I could even help with the tab, but I just don't have a clue how to get it into CDLC, and that's how she mainly interprets music. 3. ANYTHING WEEZER pre 2005 - like Pinketon B sides and stuff. Nothing recent. Again, can just be a youtube video for us to watch. 4. Ben Folds - preferably BFF and Rockin' the Suburbs era. If it doesn't have a guitar part, fine, but something for her to play on bass. It has taken me the whole weekend (thx google!!!!!!!) but here it is The 2021 Leaderboard! Congrats to all players and esp. the winners of course. Over 200 players listed, yay Personally for my classes i must give 2 special shout-outs to my hardest opponents: @ diceslinger whose playing has improved at insane pace last year, let´s see where 2022 competition will lead you! And @ Mikson who won all 3 classes 2021, congrats - you deliver so much challenge, please keep that up, i promise to keep kicking, you are not winning all 3 again!!!! Keep up that spirit everyone!
