Just saying thanks too all the devs, charters and community. You have turned me onto some music I would never have discovered without you.

I thought I would share a project that @Rodman and I recently finished. I'm taking a recording and mixing class, and one of the assignments needed a one minute minimum recorded piece with three tracks, then we had to overdub two more tracks. Most of the class are music majors, so I assume it was no big deal for them, however I was at a loss for what to do. Rodman happened to message me, so I asked if he would record a few chord progressions that I could try to do something with. Man, he was all over it and within a few hours had a verse and chorus section recorded. I put some Band in a Box drums to it, noodled out a melody and a song started taking shape. I've been wanting to write a song for a while, so this seemed like a good opportunity. I wrote some lyrics about the coronavirus lockdown and recorded them as an overdub. I sent it over to Rodman and he recorded lyrics for the chorus, and we each recorded a solo. I mixed it using what I've been learning, and boom...a song! So here it is, Lockdown, and original song by Rodman and Diceslinger!

Would be good for Advanced bass, probably 6, although I played it with a pick Meh, weird. I'm not as smart or enlightened to enjoy Tool!

I've had some playthroughs, and the accuracy has gone a little up. I think my final score for this weeks intermediate song is this: I've also marginally improved my funky style:

Class 1st... This was soo easy... I could do even better if I would have time to master switching between phrases... I don't want to be advanced to higher class though as I know this is exception as this lead was more like 3.5 rhythm for me As I said before... this one is more like lead for me... cannot make any better.. For this one I cannot do any better either... up to like 3/4 of the track I had like 99%... and then BOOM!!!! lucky hit and miss .. I have played it few more times after that, tried riff repeater, but 3rd try was the best no matter what I have also tried other classes songs and got not too bad, i would say... This one was quite easy this week, worth showing On this one I got more than my own lower class Could do better if only I have time to practice. Easy... and a little boring.. I got a nap in the middle... missed 2 notes then... too boring to play one more time. This one is fun to play. Got the score pretty easily... Other songs as usual.. scores not worth mentioning

Yes, for me on the AC/DC song, I can't seem to get it to hear all of the repeated power chords. I'll be frozen in position on the frets and out of nowhere, it'll just not hear two or three of them. Very weird! Oh well!

I would love to see the last remaining songs from the album "L'enfant Sauvage" by Gojira, The songs are Planned Obsolescence, Pain is a Master, and The Fall. Thank you if anyone can!
