what a lovely tune, nice

I really like the selections this week. Here's my start:

I've downloaded a couple of songs off the custom forge website to try and play on Rocksmith. I download them and put them into my dlc file for rocksmith. Rocksmith does recognize them in game. However, whenever I turn on the song, it will take me to the tuning phase and then after that the song will not load. The speakers and everything still work because you can hear when you pick strings after the tuning. I've tried using the rocksmith patcher, but it doesnt even recognize the songs. I also downloaded the D3DX9_42.dll file, and it didnt change anything. Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah, a lot´s of work, but i think we really do have it on a very high level by now. Great you like it. For the leaderboards: the running leaderboards show every player in his class - normal black font, when he scores in classes above - normal font with *, for the lower classes - grey small font with * - obviously not counting. From that we calculate the 10-weeks "Rodmans" Leaderboard - places in own class or above are scored 10/5/3/1 for 1st to 4th place and those are summed over the last 10 running weeks. You can only take the win in your class - so your leveling up makes you winner of Adv Bass - where you belong, congrats, you will be in MC soon i think. Rock! Ah, I get it now. You can score and gain points in a higher class but you don't get the win unless you're in that class. Which in turn, encourages people to level up so they can challenge themselves with more difficult songs, all while keeping it fair for everyone else. Brilliant. Thanks for the clarification!

I suppose I'll have to level up eventually so I should probably do it sooner rather than later. Level me up to Advanced bass for week 357. My apologies Rodman! :lol: With that said, I'm amazed at how much work must go into all of this. The leaderboards, all the different charts and rankings, song ratings, song selection, and even creating CDLC. It is all very much appreciated!

Yes, it's true. It's a challenge to make a good selection of songs to suit the different levels! Admittedly, there's a bit of a mess in the song selection list though (ODLC, songs already played, incorretly or not rated difficulties etc). So new proposals for the selection list are welcome ;) And one more thing because nobody noticed: @@theholydevil achieved over 99% accuracy in the song rated 3, so according to the rules he is promoted to the intermediate class on Lead Guitar. Congrats!

Hi, I'm in the same position, just bought a new computer, have done everything I'm supposed to do (disable devices, set 16 bit DVD quality, configure rocksmith.ini) and nothing works. The weird thing is that I only get the "it looks you haven't connected your real tone cable" message when I go into the tuner. I've tried editing the settings for the nocable launcher with different values found over the web but still nothing. The patcher works, rocksmith starts and I have audio, but just no guitar. Anybody has any idea?

i have also tried visiting @@firekorn link and i get the message " sorry we couldn't find that! you do not have permission to access this page"

Hey, i try to fix this problem (only the speakers on the screen after tuning the guitar) for many hours. I downloaded the right .dll file that i placed in the root folder but it still doesn't work, please help me, i'm getting crazy, i don't understand

im having the same problem i downloaded everything needed and put the right file in the right place and everytime i load a custom song it will load the song (after i tune) but the song wont play it just shows the amps in the background (it still outputs sound from guitar when this happends.)

My game won't open with the dll in the folder.

Hello there. So I tried all you guys said and now the won't even open. Iuse the NoCable crack and now I have issues with "offsets". What should I do? EDIT: If I take the file "D3DX9_42.dll" out the Rocksmith folder it opens normally.

I found a solution ! Uninstalling every vcredist from my computer allowed the game to finally launch
