  3. I have been participating in the Championship for a few years now. I don't post much scores anymore but I download the songs and play them every week. I have started to notice lately that when I play song a bit out of my league I can cheat the system and play to note recognition but its not clean. And I don't make it clean. Due to trying to make the best score in a week. So I took a step back and went through the rocksmith lessons. And found out some weaknesses I have. Like palm muting. Holy crap does that lesson just throws you in to the fire with the end song. Yeah I can palm mute but the mute and unmute while fast picking can be challenging. I noticed some bending and sliding nuances that I was missing as well. I guess the point of this post is that just playing songs in rocksmith will leave a lot on the table. With a full band in a song it is easy to hide mistakes and bad playing. I have found much more control and tone in the lessons and session mode. Noodling around with the songs I know or some scales are very valuable.

  4. Hey all, I just wanted to touch base with everyone and give a proper update on what's been going on behind the scenes. At the moment COVID-19 has affected all of us. Due to work constraints and other issues, our main developers has not had the time to continue to develop Ignition4. Because of these delays I am announcing that we are currently cutting planned features for Ignition4 to fast-track the release of it. I understand delay after delay can get frustrating. We wanted to bring you a state of the art search engine with all of these amazing features but we keep running into issues so my current plan is to make sure the cut features are added to the Ignition 4.1-4.5 Roadmap Our primary goal is now is bringing on a few more developers, get them comfortable with laravel/js to finish up the current build and we can get this released. We have successfully tested a migration from IP Board 3 & Ignition 3 to IP Board 4.5 & Ignition4. So right now it's just about polishing and removing all features that won't make it to the build. We are still incredibly excited to bring you a rebuilt Ignition and to deliver an overall improved performance. I can't wait to have the new upgraded forums live with the improved search engine. The whole development process for Ignition4 has been a very frustrating but rewarding experience. All of our developers efforts will soon pay off once we can get this into your hands. If you're interested in testing what the new forums experience would be like, here's a really good example: https://linustechtips.com/main/ Beta access through my Patreon is still planned. If you would like to volunteer to become a developer, we're always looking for new talent: https://forms.gle/YWDzVSgsmGFSUaq39 Thanks all, stay safe!

  6. You have an issue with lacking FHP (no highlighted fret on the highway), there's probably more issue in the file but with just that info, it's hard to know what could be the exact cause of the crash.

  7. This notice is to all charters that utilize Zippyshare to host their links for their customs on Ignition. Our administration and moderation team has decided that any chart that still utilizes Zippyshare as a hosting platform by September 1st, 2020 will be deleted. Zippyshare has not been allowed as an authorized hosting provider for over a year now and we are noticing an increase of reports from users in the European Union that are not able to download the charts because Zippyshare is blocked. We hope that providing you a notice in advance of our planned deletion date will allow you to update your customs to an authorized hosting platform such as MediaFire or Google Drive. Respectfully, The CustomsForge Administration and Moderation Team
