So I was off for shoulder surgery for 6 weeks, and coming back to play is bittersweet, because I suck a lot more than I used to, and I can only play a song or two before finishing, so I've dropped myself back down to the beginner class. Hello Hello there fellas ! So I updated Underwear, did all the changes @ mentioned, + added some of my own. I'm not quite sure about the Rhythm part, but If it's not good, use the 1.0 version. (I hope I did it correctly frip :P) I did wanted to leave it as it was, because I watched some of the gigs of theirs. And the singer (rhythm) don't play @ tab part. But nevertheless I did it. The bass has all the changes as mentioned. I played with the tone a bit and it sounds much better now. As I said earlier I'm leaving tomorrow, so this is my last post this week. had a look at the new Underwear version, and everything seems fine with me, even sync wise. and i checked out Anthem solo again, good work @@bernixix the part you fixed is now got to go ;D there are no major sync issues in the solo now, so thats cool! Anthem Lead cheers!

Thanks for the feedback. I have no idea why the autotone didn't work for Lead. But here's the fix. UNDERWEAR 2_2 I tested all the arrangements. It should be final now.

Hey just thought i'd introduce myself (even if there isn't much movement here). I play guitar casually (so i can't call myself a guitar player) for many years know, and i like j-rock/j-metal/old visual kei bands mostly. I also used to be a singer for several things (including j-bands) for a bit more than a decade. I listen to a lot of stuff, but what gets the most of out my listening /and playing time) is abingdon boys school, t.m.revolution, hizaki grace project, versailles, gackt, moi dix mois, vii sense, daisuki ishiwatari (if you haven't heard the guilty gear xrd soundtrack you should!), etc (and that etc includes almost every band everyone mentioned, lol). @@Berneer What a great song! I'm not really into Blaze solo career but I really liked this one. What's really awesome is that you actually got an answer from Blaze, which is really rare and means a lot from the guy behind the artist imo... Not just that, he also seemed to agreed on providing you an official tab - The Tab! I've always admired that engineering process your customs follow and it's top notch resulting quality... so I bet he's going to be no less than astonished and speechless haha :D

I agree with you! But I think there should be an official mechanism to 'transfer' CLDCs from user to user. What I mean is the following: After a certain period of time (couple of weeks) of a charter not having come back online, other charters can request mods to have the ownership of a CDLC search database entry transfered to them. This means they take responsibility for the custom, keep the download link up to date and even fix errors if necessary. Basically an extension of the existing adoption rules for RS1 DLC. The advantage would be that no additional search entries have to be created. Personally, I don't like to see various versions of the same song. Also, whenever the orginal charter comes back online, he can choose to regain responsibility for the custom that was maintained by another user. I don't know if this rule could be applied to people specifically taking their content down from the site. But I guess the much larger number is the "silent death", where people simply loose interest in CDLCs and do not care anymore.

I been having increasing problems with my Mac Toolkit and song conversion from PC to Mac. Normally the p.psarcs will convert to m.psarcs without error, but when I try to play the songs in game, Rocksmith crashes after the tuning screen. I've updated to Version 2.6.1.0-c476802f yesterday, and I'm still having the same problems. The occasional song will convert and run successfully... I think Version 2.6.1.0-ecc84d06 used to convert songs more successfully, but I can't be sure of this, as I've updated the Toolkit a few times (d'oh!). I'm running OSX 10.7.5. Can anyone shed any light on this?

First post . I'm a fifty year old dude playing Rocksmith on my 95 Fernandes Japanese bass and loving the downloads this site has to offer. Any chance someone out there could add a few tunes from Blind Melon? Sleepy House, Galaxy? anything? Rain is so lame and I'm hoping for more. Thank you in advance. This is a great site.

All drivers are up to date, reinstalled and updated DirectX three separate times. I'm running the game digitally on steam. Clean install as well, no dlc, no cdlc. Made sure my gpu is the one being used. Reset bios to default. Had to update bios like you said to get the card to work. Backed up the .ini file, edited to lowest resolution(800x600). Still won't get past the first loading screen. I'm starting to accept that Rocksmith is giving me the digital middle finger as it's the only game that won't run now EDIT: Figures as soon as I edit this it works...thanks in order for you both

I was pretty spooked doing it, probably took me three times as long as it should, but surgery went off without a hitch! I got even heavier gauge strings this time, so these heads are probably going to live even shorter lives than the first set. :P Having trouble improving this week. Kinda out of practice, I think. I should probably do that Riff Repeater thing...

You're welcome to take mine and make it better. In fact, anyone is, because I just don't have the time to do what I want with it. Ok, I know, I haven't created that much in the first place… :lol:

My 2 cents.... If multiple people are working on the same song there may be an issue with pace. Say two people are done with their sections, what of the 3rd person who is working on a different pace - they're not ready when the first two are. Could result in some nastygrams going back and forth. Anyway, I'm not a CDLC creator so I'll probably just let you fine folks work it out.

Oh yeah, forgot about that part. It's possible it could be something weird like the tapping in One a few weeks ago, where many of the lead guitarists had trouble with getting note recognition there, but I think @ didn't. Would be nice to have some idea of why it happens and what could be done to fix it, but I'm not sure we'll find out anything soon. Also, with chords, generally anything in between the strings being played is generally assumed to be muted. And if the chord doesn't go to the highest string you'll also mute the higher ones, as it's easier to just mute them with the fretting hand than to control your picking hand and avoid hitting them.

@@missis sumner, @: I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but I know @@then3verend must have had some success with it, as I think he scored ~98% on it back when we played it in MC before setting it aside for later. I also had no luck on the chords, whether with fingering or a pick. Anyway, here are some ideas of things to try: -Play around with tuning, with exactly how many cents you are from on tune. It's three octaves with nothing else, so it's possible that Rocksmith doesn't detect some of the higher notes either because i) it doesn't see the note as distinct from an overtone of the lower notes, or ii) it doesn't see the note because it's not an exact overtone of the lower notes. So I'd try some different tunings: 0,0,0, or -5, 0, 5, or -10, 0, +10, or something like that on those three strings (D, D, G) and see if you can't find anything that works. -Play around with how it's fingered. From what I remember it has you fingering it as 05x7 (DADG), but you could also try fingering it as 0x07 (somewhat more awkward, but it should be doable) or 0507 (no muting of D string). Or you could try to really double down on the string muting if you haven't been doing that. -Other miscellaneous things. Maybe check your cable gain, how your tone knobs are turned, the intonation of your instrument, whether you might be bending the strings some or pressing them too hard, and things like that. But really, when it comes to things like this that are basically just technical issues, I lose interest in furthering my score. Might practice it a bit to make sure I can get it to sound OK, but that's about it.

I had this issue when I tried to setup RS14 on a secondary pc. I solved it by installing the latest Direct X release. I used the DX install on my GTA5 disc, but you can DL from Microsoft or use Windows Update (might be in the reccomended updates as oppossed to the essential updates). Or just pull out the game disc of RS14 if you have that and use the Direct X install, should work. As I remember I was also trying to use the onboard gfx of my Intel chip, so it might be worth checking if your gfx card is the primary gfx adaptor - you can do this in Device Manager. Your pc, for some reason, may be trying to use the onboard gfx instead of the new gfx card. There are settings in your motheboard BIOS for this. It might be worth going into your BIOS and resetting everything to default. Also, your mobo may need a BIOS update to run the new gfx card - I had to update my BIOS recently for my mobo to run my new 970. Furthermore, it could be the game settings causing you grief, especially the resolution. Go into your Rocksmith.ini file (in the same folder as the Rocksmith install) and manually make it a small resolution, you can change it back in game once its running. Good luck :D

@@then3verend, try to set all new hardware+update all drivers(especially gfx driver), rocksmith needs dx 9 reinstall it too. usually it's broken file on disk make sure that your hdd\sdd has a good connection you can check disk with rocksmith for errors,i don't think it's a RAM issue. make sure you have no OC while testing (if it has wrong clocks you may have blackscreen issue\often ctd due to hw desync). try fresh install w\o dlc\mods have fun with that, play smoke on the water from time to time while doing this, compy loves rock classic :lol: PS. sorry for poor english EDIT if rs can't detect realtone, disconnect all other(usb keyboard\mouse is ok) usb devices.

Lead update & review: i did some RR on the solo and i got some issues there, firstly, the whole solo being one section is a little bit shitty, would be awesome to split it into two/three. I think on those bends in the beginning of the solos, some sort of pitch effect is used, i really doubt that its played bending the string but im not sure on this one and i dont know how to improve that. Bending Maniac Forget this one, i was wrong and simply suck ;D There are some notes missing here, and that D 15th fret should come in earlier. Notes Missing For notes im hearing something like this |-12---------------12--------------------------------| E-String |-----15p12-15^-----15p12--15--17------------ | B-String But im not 100% sure about these. and this section of the solo Out of Sync Beginning is out of sync., as in the notes on the fretboard lag behind the audio. its only this small part, starting on those slides on the b-string, and stops when the open high-e is played into the bend on the A on the 17th fret. Out of Sync Ending But besides the solo, this cdlc is really good, and solos are hard to transcribe anyway. Would be awesome if someone could check it out too, and hopefully @@bernixix can make some imrpovements to his CDLC And my new score: Anthem Lead cheers

Glad you got it sorted :D As for tones, the toolkit can actually import tones direct from other customs. So if you have a tone you like in a custom you have downloaded that you want to use, just use the Import button in the Tones sections of the toolkit and point it straight to the .psarc of the custom you want to borrow the tones from. There are other methods to do tones, but that is by far the simplest and you can get excellent results. On GP tabs, generally if there are no GP tabs then you are manually inputting the notes to EoF or making the GP file yourself. Manually imputting the notes seems daunting at first, but it's a lot quicker than you might think once you start copy/pasting throughout. Most songs repeat the same tabs a lot, so you only have to input them once then copy/paste away.

I'd better find some interesting explanation to avoid the conclusion that the problem is actually my skill level. I should probably get on with The Grunge before the week is gone.

There is an option in EoF preferences that you need to enable, think its called "Export Separate RS2 Files". Then when you save the project in EoF it will create the XMLs that you are looking for. Or maybe you have the save path set up as a different folder. Whenever I start a new EoF project I always use the "Use Source Audio Location" option. Maybe EoF is creating the XMLs but just dumping them in a place you don't expect. Posting a screen grab of your EoF project will help determine an answer to your problem of the notes not being correct in relation to the music and may also help with why they seem to be missing 1/3rd of the notes.

Ademas de algunas otras canciones que no esten o de bandas que no sean tan conocidas para el comun de la gente. I am very new here, I just joined a few minutes ago. I just wanted to thank everyone has made it so easy for me to download these CDLC's and enrich my Rocksmith experience. I am on a super limited budget due to health problems so I am unable to afford a bass/guitar tutor and so RS is my teacher. Right now I am doing very well after a few months of playing every day and thanks to this amazing site, I have the ability to increase my RS song library. I really wish I could high five everyone who has contributed in any way. You really made my day, and I have had a horrible week. So i thought I would just say thank you all very much. If this is post is against the rules please feel free to delete and tell me off. If that is the case I am very sorry, I just wanted to say thank you.
