  1. Intermediate Bass - 99.91%, 824 streak I can't get the 100%, always one note somewhere... MasterClass Bass - 98.12%, 119 streak I was stuck at around 93%, but then I went to Riff Repeat it and here it goes. I'll give it more tries and try to get above 99%.

  10. And I am back. I had a trip to the hospital full with ambulance ride and morphine o.o . during my trip I found out that a kidney stone is very painful , I don't recommend the experience as it was also very expensive. sadly missed last week : / but i'll post my score for the song that got this guy in metallica. http://i.imgur.com/RlKYdyK.jpg 70 % not bad for me cuz i'm not a shredder. this weeks MC bass I like it not perfect but close enough for me. hearing this song makes me think though. . . . . Have you been in a studio. no auto-tune and those girls hitting all those bum bum bum bums in perfect key. how many times did they mess up did one of them get P/Oed at the others and how tired of recording it must they have gotten. Maybe i am reading into it a bit much. anyways. http://i.imgur.com/Xh6vg3X.jpg and my neglected rhythm track I remember the first time this song was ever played on mtv on headbangers ball at midnight they made such a big to do about it and at the time it was captivating as i was pretty young at the time. http://i.imgur.com/yazki04.jpg anyways good to be back.

I've been given a try and beginner/intermediate are really fun to play. I guess I'll enter this week if I find the time to improve my first scores :p For the moment, 79% on beginner rythm, 87% on intermediate rythm, 64% on beginner lead, 64% on intermediate lead... definitely some place for improvment. Advanced songs I feel like I can actually learn something by watching verses MC where it's often just way above my skill level. I've mostly been playing Metallica this week but I'll give White Zombie at least one try. It looks like it was mostly repetitive but had a few faster parts in there. Thanks!

  27. If it finds errors in the FHPs that are already there (ie. a fret value lower than the FHP in effect), it will warn you and offer to show you where the error is so you can choose whether to cancel the save and manually correct the FHP. It should give specific reasons why it's complaining for each. EOF won't replace your manual FHPs in a track difficulty with generated ones unless you manually open the fret hand positions list for that track difficulty and click the "Generate" button. It will even warn you before removing any existing FHPs. EOF requires the author to be very deliberate when replacing FHPs with generated ones to ensure it doesn't happen by accident. If you ignored EOF when it warned about removing existing FHPs, there's nothing else it could do to prevent them from being replaced. It is not recommended to place FHPs and then substantially alter the chart because you risk having to edit the FHPs as well. The short summary is I'm not going to add a complicated system for EOF to be able to tell apart which FHPs were automatically generated and which ones were manually entered. The logic isn't designed to add FHPs to a track difficulty that already has them. It really isn't feasible for the FHP generation logic to be 100% accurate in taking into account all possibilities regarding chord fingerings, since some players may stretch their fingers to avoid moving their entire hand and some may not. That's why the index finger can be defined for a note to control this. In your slide example, you could easily just define the fingering for the first note after each slide to use the index finger and that would cause the automated FHPs to offer something similar to what you're wanting. I can put some thought into how to improve the automated logic to treat slides, but it probably wouldn't produce better results than defining fingering to control the automation.

  29. Yes. Also, start simple. Many of us did not start with metal...sure a few metal riffs here and there...but we started with simpler stuff. Punk is easy, gets that right hand speeding up. Start with Blitzkrieg Bop, it will teach you power chords , which are found in the majority of metal. Don't practice things you've become good at. Practice what you're bad at. So if you learn to change between C and G effectively and quickly...don't keep practicing songs with C and G, practice new chords. If you learn one part of a solo and can play it without thinking, dont keep practicing that...learn the next part. Play without Rocksmith too. Pick up your guitar out of game, play chords and scales you've learned from the game. Practice riffs you've learned. Play the arcade practice games. String Skip Saloon (don't look at your guitar when you play this), Temple of the Bends (practice bends with ALL fingers) and the Duck Redux (don't look down at your guitar). Learn scales in session mode, they make it fun... Focus on the quality of your practice, not the length. At first it might be frustrating...but, keep going. Don't get discouraged, YOU WILL GET BETTER!

  34. Tips and tricks,,, well. A shit ton of practice is a tip. As far as warm up try the bass warm up exercise,, just emulate the guitar,, serves the same purpose. Songs,,, man. Do you remember ( Lead path ) Go With the Flow rhythm path. And Amanda for any of them but you need to play the chords. LEARN CHORDS. You are going to need them. Even if you want to play solos,, guess what ,, you have to play rhythm too. Also there have been some great chord CDLC learning tools uploaded recently. Try searching exercise, or you in the Ignition search. Also try guitar chords,,. How long,, that depends on your dedication level. If you play and hour a day with Rocksmith,, I can almost assure you will learn faster that you think you are. Also , do NOT be afraid of session mode. You basically play a scale shape,, but you can skip around, you don't have to just go up and down. Follow the Rocksmih recommends thing, it actually has a purpose. and do ALL of the lessons in game. even if you don't pass them, DO them. Speaking of that,, start out with the lessons, they will help you a lot. And you mention Metallica, well probably the easiest Metallica song to play is,,, In my opinion,, Sad But True, however, Am I Evil is just damn fun and will build your endurance up, fast as shit and long,, but simple. I figured that one out without using a tab.

Mods:@@Liquidlizard, @@rummhamm87, @@xDatBoiSOBLE, @@ZagatoZee Social Media / Mod: @@firekorn Developer: @@Anahkiasen (creator of Furnace) I'm looking forward to working with these amazing staff members on improving CustomsForge. Another new addition is that we've moved our domains over to a new registrar and finally migrated our 3rd server. Want to access ignition faster? You can now use cdlcsearch.com and/or ignition.ninja to access it. Another new feature we recommend everyone to use is that you can now enable two-factor authentication to your account. The big question. What's the current status of ignition?!?!? We've been dealing with a delay in development, recently our main developer was sick and our other developer was neck deep in work. The good news is that we're rewriting ignition's framework and plan to implement it in may. Our current plan is to release an update sometime between the middle of may or the end of june for both Ignition and the CustomsForge Song Manager! Because of some CFSM features we can't release it until the new ignition update is released. I apologize for the wait but everyone will definitely like this update! Additionally we plan on improving the whole system for better theming, features, and more. We will be shifting development services for better use and looking for better low-cost alternatives. We're working on streamlining our development process, becoming more active on social media (Facebook, Twitter, possibly opening up our own subreddit), and making everything faster/better. We will be using this portal page to post all types of rocksmith and music related news. I can't wait to bring everyone here the best search engine for CDLC! 40. They really have so many choices? And every week when I'm selecting songs I'm like "we had Fishbone last week, I won't select it this week" and I'm generating new random number  Having selections in all classes helps. of course we have since were participating since more than 30 weeks regularly and updating the SSL if any slot is free. Some guys just came out if their songs are chosen...AND were almost winning, and somewhere I heard that the winner have advantage when songs were chosen. And that's what I do before add new songs to the list, I check them before for the difficulty and for issues that we don't have to change the song during the week. And one DreamTheatre song should be counted double or threetime cause their lenghts. edit: if you guys don't like my choices I will take them off Noo don't remove them. It's good to have choice. It's not personal if someone doesn't like a song and it's good to see and experience some "off the wall" charts :D even if I can't play them with my slabs of ham fists ;)
