  1. So I have been reading the forums and this thread lurking >.<. I put some songs on the playlist. then you guys got me motivated to try to get some better scores. So on this Left Handed song I started out and got this. http://i.imgur.com/IoSDoXL.jpg Then I said out loud 2 notes >.< :*( *&^%$(__(^&%^%$ I am gonna beat this thing. and then i got. http://i.imgur.com/4NaCtsi.jpgOne note missed I said i give up. Then my Wife says "Didn't you said you were gonna beat it ?" So once more i played the song http://i.imgur.com/z7Rwe9i.jpg o.O finally. So on a hot streak I said ok tool your next. http://i.imgur.com/OUy46tF.jpgnot perfect but I got over my 96% bump.

  6. Finally got 100% on left hand in master mode but didn't screenshot it! I did do a video but the sound is dreadful as in Master mode I had to twang the strings really hard to get recognition because every time I was hitting the F in the riff it was coming up as a miss despite it being noticed in Hard SA even when I was quite a bit out of time on some occasions... always the F ... not giving an "F"! So I grabbed a screenshot from the video :) ....... it sounds soooo hideous! :( I really do like this tune though, I'm going to whip it out at parties and stuff HAH! https://plus.google.com/u/0/103453238698569939481/photos/photo/6119920580632398242?pid=6119920580632398242&oid=103453238698569939481 btw, that's not a fat lip I have, I'm just sticking out my tongue :P. Just realised... can't even see the name of the friggin' song! Waaaaaah! I'm gonna have to play it again!!!!? I've had about 4000 restarts because of that damn F! :( Sod it, I'm doing the bunny men!

  7. Apparently there was a 94.93% dilemma. (Case 1, Case 2) Props to @@Azrael for his MM's on Life. 74 plays just on lead is insane. My guitar and game doesn't like the tuning, so I'm done with the song. I actually did really well on the riff for the rhythm path, but actually lost most of my accuracy on the power chords. My game wasn't enjoying them with my guitar. Tool will be coming later, need a break, haven't had a chance to try it yet. http://i.imgur.com/fn4TtRF.png http://i.imgur.com/8cTCdsY.png

  8. Sooo... After 3 runs on the lead int song that ended up in high 80s i noticed that i pressed the strings to hard in the single notes part. I then remembered that i changed to thinner strings last week. This is the first run after that. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k228/maztor42/Rocksmith%20championship%202014/Left%20Hands%20Free%20977_zpsbvby4iqb.jpg I need to start listening to what i play more. I should have noticed all the sharp notes.

  9. Have the same problem, last week was a lot more annoying tho. This time fortunately its not too much chords. But yes it sucks a lot, when you do the same chord 20 times in a row, where the first 10 are correct, then 4 errors, and the rest is correct again. And yet I really can't imagine that i moved my hand. But maybe it's really me, and i have to figure out how i mess that up :P Yes - but if you look for example at @ or @@Nacholede or @nev ´s even first tries you c that there are about zero random misses when you master your instrument - so i suppose many of those that happen to us all the time are pilot errors. I call it the random note ghost He still haunts me He's haunting me on 10,000 days I have to restart runs like 10 times to get my first 100% He's real He will steal your glory

  12. I always seem to miss one note or another, or at least RS thinks so. And I've been spending all of the song looking at my fingers anyway, so I tried it in master mode. It took a few tries, but I worked my way up to every note except one. It least I'm consistent. 20. Hey all, I've been doing research on BandFuse customs recently but I've hit a wall in adding files to the index file. I've set up a thread here with research I've been gathering on data structures and whatnot. Tomorrow I'll be cleaning up preliminary code I have and hosting it somewhere so that interested parties can take a look. I have an example replacement solution and a MIDI file that it converts, and I have a solution that's dedicated to generating DLC that I'm running into issues with. I'm hoping to find other people who are interested in customizing BandFuse, and, as a long show, anyone with audio experience who would like to look at the compression/encryption used on the audio and see if there's any way to reverse it (as of now, we're using audio through the .bik video, which is... eh, I guess?). Thanks! (And if there's a better place for this, let me know and if you can't move it there I'll post it there instead)

  21. Hey guys, I wasn't sure if this was the best place to post this, but it seemed like a decent fit. I've really been enjoying all the amazing work everyone has put into creating custom DLC for Rocksmith 2014, and I decided to give back in my own little way. It's kind of OCD, but some of you might find it helpful. I wrote a little program that will go through your DLC folder and rename all the PC DLC songs to match the embedded metadata, so it's easier to see what songs you actually have by keeping them consistently named. I also use it just to help identify songs that have incorrect metadata so I can manually fix them using the Custom Song Creator Toolkit. Here's my github page: https://github.com/Darrken/RockSmithDLCRenamer Make sure you read the ReadMe on that page! The source code is all there, and the program itself is in the "exe" folder for those that don't want to compile it on your own. :) I'm actually using methods from the Custom Song Creator Toolkit to get the metadata, so you developers will see some familiar DLLs in the Bin folder. I hope some of you find this useful. Update: Dropbox link to compiled program

  29. The "Precise Select Like" function does something similar to what you want. It selects every note that has the same fret and string number as your currently selected note. It will, despite its name, also select those same notes that have a different duration than the note you have selected, and it will also select the same notes that have a technique added to them. Precise Select Like can be used by pressing Shift + L, or in the Menu under Edit -> Selection.

  42. kiren, I think most guitarist prefer playing along with other musicians, and Rocksmith offers it. My son got interested in the guitar because of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, so I paid for lessons. From what I noticed was beginner guitarist are less motivated and tend to stop after awhile, because all they do is go home practice and play by themselves. But once they are in a band they practice more. My son was lucky enough to have taken lessons where the school offer recitals and opportunity to meet other musicians and get in to a band. So I understand your point without Rocksmith you don't feel like playing the guitar. You should try to find people that are musician and and just jam.

  43. This may sound obvious, but I watch the track a couple times through and try to visualize the hand movements before actually trying to play the song. I'm not as surprised when a weird chord or strange bend shows up out of nowhere. "Be the ball, Danny. Na na na na na na na na na na." -Ty Webb You're welcome, @@kiren.
