FCPREMIX Rhythm MM then i tried this one, like the madman that i am, and look at that score! And finally, the creme de la creme FCPREMIX Lead I dont even know how i got that score. Played it like all the days before, but thise time with so much less misses and finally some multiplier! I dont even know if i can improve on it. Well, cheers guys!5 points

Bit better on lead except some X's for some like one note phrases I goofed up. http://i.imgur.com/dvuWL4Z.png And so close to the hundy on bass! Messed up the last note in the "weebly weebly" section and maybe one or two in the end run. http://i.imgur.com/8xlupJA.png4 points

I've improved on that, too :P http://fs2.directupload.net/images/150109/cm9a5368.jpg I will play the lead again maybe later, be sure to improve on it4 points

It should be good to have a way to search the CDLCs with a new search criterion based on the sync quality. For me, it's very important to have songs in which : - the notes are in sync with the measures and beats (the rhythm of the song) - the notes are in sync with the soundtrack This criterion should be set by a few volunteers (CDLC's testers). What do you think about this proposal ?3 points

Well, I managed to get Muse working (thanks to @@Shiroo, I think), but my god, it's hard! Bass, 71%: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKOXFNRlZqZ284Q1k/view?usp=sharing And a bit of an improvement on shiver me timbers! Bass, 90%: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKWmhGdC1ja0x6Ync/view?usp=sharing Oh, and I finally figured out how to take a screenshot on the Mac. :D3 points

After receiving numerous requests from people to post the customs that I have been using for experimentation with Violin on Rocksmith, I have uploaded them. If others have created customs for violin, feel free to post links on this thread. Video links might be useful too, if available. WARNING: The BASS chart on these songs is for a REAL VIOLIN! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TUNE A BASS TO MATCH THE REQUIRED TUNING Tuning instructions: Do NOT use emulated bass. The custom is already coded to expect an instrument tuned to G,D,A,E in the 4th-6th octave, which equates to guitar notes on the 10th fret of A, 12th fret of D, 14th fret of G, and 17th fret of B (12th of E). Customs currently available (PC only): Practice track: Beethoven's Ode to Joy http://www.mediafire.com/download/ghch7t79l3gp93d/Beethoven_Ode-to-Joy_Violin_Only_v1_p.psarc Video Demo (queue to 13:25): Lindsey Stirling: My Immortal (Evanescence Cover) http://www.mediafire.com/download/cfp37a56z4ooa6d/Lindsey-Stirling_My-Immortal-Violin-Only_v2_p.psarc Video Demo (queue to 5:36): Gil Shaham: Paganini's Sonata Concertato in A Major (1st movement) http://www.mediafire.com/download/c2cr9x9pu8491rm/Paganini_Sonata-Concertato-in-A-major-MS-2_I_-Allegro-Spiritoso_v1_p.psarc Video Demo:1 point

Ah, I see that now -- got confused by the gold pick master icon. Still, 99.8% is pretty jaw-drop worthy from me anyway! :) Nevermind, retract my statement I figured it out haha. Just had a brainfart in the bridge. http://i.imgur.com/HFU24zM.png1 point

Haha, that score isn't actually from master, I've tried a couple master mode runs, but I keep messing up the verses because sometimes it starts on the A on the E string, and others the octave up and I keep messing them up.1 point

No updates at all from me. I did make an effort with the MC but I can't even play it through in SA without it X'ing me out near the last few phrases. Been practicing some other stuff instead. I might have a bash at sticking up a score for the pirate song but all depends on if #2son is not vying for my blood tomorrow, he's been a tad under the weather :(1 point

@ RB3 have pro/real guitar/Bass already. Bluzer's rips include ALL vocals/lyrics ripped & working (verified). There's a noticeable difference in GH & RB charts too, GH are more difficult compared to RB, (I don't know if RB have not charted muted notes or if GH is charted with muted notes). RB are easier to play, but when you have good skills, GH are the good choice, far better (more punch/dynamic/rythm) so more challenging & interresting to play.1 point

It's not that many of them :( And it's hard to decide - is it Beg or Int. Don't worry, I couldn't get close to my best :P In unsure cases its always gonna be int ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

@@Rodman Maybe try Riff Repeater? Playing at slower pace can help. It helped me a lot, though I understand that it's funnier to simply play. Still I wouldn't have patience to go through so many tries (well, maybe for Metric :D ).1 point

@, I guess I'll wait to see if you can use a current version of the toolkit to unpack the DLC again. If it still doesn't work, please send me the updated XML files and I'll examine them.1 point

Yeah, you need to buy the original Rocksmith (or Rocksmith 2012 or RS1 as it's often referred to here) in order to play RS1 dlc. When browsing dlc in the Steam store you can tell which version of the game the dlc is for by looking at the graphic for each one. The RS1 dlc has the Rocksmith logo on a brown background and just says "Rocksmith". The Rocksmith 2014 dlc has a grey background and says "Rocksmith All New 2014 Edition". Also, by date, all dlc released prior to Oct. 22, 2013 is for Rocksmith 1. Glad you got the other issues worked out.1 point

If I have notes that aren't grid snapped, then I do this as soon as possible. But I'm guessing you're still moving notes about at this point. http://i.imgur.com/ePgY93F.png1 point

I think it would probably be easier to have an "out of sync" flag. Otherwise, it would take forever to go through all the customs posted and then you would have people avoiding the ones that haven't been gotten to because they haven't been flagged as "well synced" yet.1 point

I like it but the problem is to have enough people to check every single cdlc that is created...1 point

MC Bass is hard. I gave it an 8-9 after my first trial playthrough, I'll revise that to a solid 9. I thought that the meedly meedly bits would get easier after some Riff Repeater time, but so far that hasn't worked out -- not that I've spend LOADS of time on it, but usually I see a very quick improvement in overall accuracy if I play something tough in RR and that didn't cut it here. Still a good song, and fun to try to play along with, but on those tough bits I basically just resort to putting my frethand in the right position and randomly strumming... I think 94% is pretty much my limit unless I make some major breakthrough on those parts.1 point

It's more annoying when you click on a note and it moves slightly  Dunno how to turn it off, but I have learned to take my time and be patient when selecting notes. I use a gaming mouse and I gots plenty practice at shooters, so giving them gems a headshot comes naturally :D1 point

The ability to be able to play drop tunings without having to retune the instrument would be great.1 point

As I mentioned to you earlier: amazing. I am attempting to get my violin set up like you did. Just experiencing some tuning issues. I PM'd ... you about it. I think you are the pioneer of a whole new movement: bass, cello, viola, violin, ukelele. Perhaps we don't even need to limit ourselves to string instruments. Maybe wind instruments are possible. Imagine playing Baker Street on the Saxophone in RS. As I have shown you I have gotten the acoustic guitar to work in RS. Plays with 100% accuracy!!! Here it is again. Remember I suck at guitar still so the misses are only due to my poor playmanship. Imagine even a harp. I swear I'd rent or buy a harp just to try that. The possibilities are endless! Imagine the piano! Woh, piano, that is huge!!! Once again brilliant work Daikano! I see a near future where there is a section on CF dedicated to "Other Instruments in Rocksmith". This is huge!1 point

Ubisofts Rocksmith Developer working on a new AAA game With that out of the way, I'd love to see Keyboards, 7 and 5 string support. The ability to create custom playlists. The option to hide songs, stuff like that.1 point

Back to Intermediate Lead: Intermediate Lead - 97.66%, 168 streak @ was right, it's not that difficult. One session in RR (from 65% speed) and the first sections green all the time. This bends on D string are still tough to pull off. And that part on high string is not so scary either, better memorization (as currently I'm still forgeting something or I'm being too slow) and it'll be ok. Tremolo ending is sweet, as it's really easy. I will be sad if I won't go above 98%.1 point

You'll probably need something like Bome’s Midi Translator running on your PC to convert midi inputs from your line 6 to the specific keyboard strokes that you want to mimic in Rocksmith.1 point

I had thought about this as a game because for me Scale Racer sux. It speeds up quickly too fast and each time you crash you must start over. You choose the scale you want to practice for example, I thought maybe the game might start out on a pentatonic scale at position 1. Then move to position 2, to 3, etc... After you make it through the entire set of patterns it moves up in speed and then runs back through the 5 positions. Or you could choose to run just the one pattern and have it step up in speed each time you make it through correctly. If you miss, it makes you run through the pattern again at that same speed. You choose the starting speed and whether or not it speeds up or stays the same throughout the practice run.1 point
