  1. Hi guys, I decided to do this week's entries a little differently.. by recording them. Beginner: Lead - 97% accuracy, 179 streak ( )Rhythm - NA Bass - 99% accuracy, 292 streak ( ) Intermediate: Lead - to be done Rhythm - to be done(/is there one?) Bass - 99% accuracy, 524 streak ( ) (And as the score screen isn't shown in my videos, here's the actual score submission: http://i.imgur.com/LZwvRwu.jpg - excuse the low resolution, they were taken from my recordings.) I aim to do the intermediate tracks before Friday, as I'm just waiting on a new guitar - and retuning my strat down to Eb Drop Db and then back to standard is.. not worth the effort considering new guitar, wooOoOOooo. Enjoy the messy room guys! (quick edit: whoops, didn't mean for them all to be embedded.. let me know if this is a problem and I'll try to change it!)

  7. As the title suggests, would it be possible to add a community rated difficulty level to songs in the database? I believe that would help new guitarists like myself as well as more experienced players with finding new songs they can play on their difficulty level.

  8. Thought I'd give it another go and I improved :D MC 91%:http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/38598015446342673/45C4AC8D0DB9175F87706CD723290E1A2894FE28/

  9. @, I'm very envious of your thumb shifting up and down the strings, that's something I really need to work on as resting my thumb on the pickup is eventually either going to erode the pickup from the clammy thumb sweat or, cave it into the body of my bass from the amount of pressure I put on it resting my mini hitch hiker there :) kudos!

  12. Dire Strais - Sultans of Swing. Both solos. Fun fact: Back in my guitar class in highschool, I blew away my teacher and the class when I played the whole song for our final. Was a good day!

  14. Got my score up a bit on int. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k228/maztor42/Rocksmith%20championship%202014/Hypnotize9356_zps921bb455.jpg But i do not like SoaD and i dislike playing in drop tunings. So i think this will be what i stay at for now. Tried MC Rhythm a few times and i might give it some real work later in the week. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k228/maztor42/Rocksmith%20championship%202014/ForsakenRhythm86_zps279afa75.jpg

  15. i bought the game for my PS3 and only got to know about cDLCs later.. then I ordered an E3 flasher to jailbreak my PS3, however while waiting for this flasher in the mail i came across a sale for RS2014 on PC for 15$US (about 12 Euro for me), so i bought it.. i could use the cable that i already had from the PS3-kit.. now i mostly play on my PC.. oh, and when i finally received my E3 flasher, i did jailbreak the PS3, but primarily to not have wasted money on the flasher ;) i just checked, the sale at the store where i had ordered the game is over, so it's back up to 60 USD...

  16. I have it on PS3 and went the same route as Jamie. I saw a sale on Steam that had it for $15 so I jumped on it. Now I have it on my laptop and PS3.

  18. I thought about removing this thread and doing a new thread called "How to reach the official DLC quality in your customs". I noticed now, what firekorn tried to say to me. My tips look like orders, I will change that in future, but now I've got no time free. Someday I will do screenshots from the official DLC's techniques and show how to chart them in EOF and then it will be more like tips.

  19. This post is a work in progress.... please come back to read the rest of it later. Version 1: Agreed that people who don't like WIPs shouldn't download them, or the CDLC of known WIPersPointed out the fact that lots of CDLC is half-assed WIP, except the charter doesn't bother to label it as such, so be thankful that at least the WIPer didn't abandon itPut forth the notion that maybe when the charter released a new version, they truly hoped it would be the final version, but perhaps their dedication to quality drives them to continue fixing and improving, no matter how many revisions it takes, and that perhaps they try to balance quality with quantity (collecting feedback along the way) in order not to stagnate and lose interest....and that furthermore, some charters' WIPs start out more complete than some other charters "final" versions are.Gave the advice that if you get tired of downloading new versions, skip a few, wait a month and play your outdated version until you feel like updating again. Nobody's forcing you.Version 1.1: Corrected grammar and punctuation I hope to add dynamic difficulty to this post soon, so please bear with me.

  24. I can give you some advice before I go off looking up what I have that's helped me brother! For starters, learn a scale, if you haven't already, the Minor/Major Pentatonic are great starters. What makes them good starters is their patterns. Usually, to practice you would start on the 5th fret E string, then comes your pinky finger on the 8th fret E string. And so on and so forth, you work up and down the scale. With that in mind, look at your bass. (which string is not important, but try a lil' string skipping) First finger on the first fret! Second finger, second fret, Third finger, third fret And your forth finger, forth fret. Now, to keep it a habit, play all those notes in different orders and on different strings. BUT keep to the same frets. Once you're a little comfortable, move up the scale, now starting with your first finger on the FIFTH fret, and then each finger follows til your pinky is on the EIGHTH fret. Just move up and down the neck of the Bass and get the fingers holding down strings, which will make them stronger! TIPS! + With this practice especially, it's easy for your third and pinky finger to move away from the neck. Keep those fingers hugging close to the neck so they're ready to play a note/double-stop/Chord + Flea is one of the best out there today! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avf2S5MOEeg&index=29&list=LL7nh2rWYtEKzImyZ9q-RC1w So check this out for some help, nice exercises to follow along with. + A Contributor on this site has some Rad exercise tracks! 25. Hello everyone! I wanted to say thanks to everyone who's supported us so far. First off I wanted to explain what your donations was used for. The negatives are what I've purchased. The websites domain for $15 and the IP.Board & IP.Download system for $225 I have $142.93 USD Left in paypal and I plan to let all users know where their money went. I will not pocket any of this money as it will be used for this website only. Edit: I've moved the transactions list to Google Spreadsheet. Please view it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zfCUmm0Wj8V1KW_Xrh8JWhV1Sio7H7F-OHeY4E09NAA/edit?usp=sharing Thank you SO much to everyone. Okay now, for the future of the website I have a few things in motion. 1) We will most likely use http://rscdlc.com/ for our DLC system. We will modify it to make it better. 2) We will use IP.Downloads for our file system. You can do EVERYTHING you dreamed it. Some of the features: - It counts every download - Searchable fields (Title, Artist, etc) - NOTIFICATIONS for file updates. This is a huge update I'm looking forward to. No longer have to deal with outdated CDLC. - Report broken file downloads to the CDLC creator & More! 3) We are actively working with PHP developers to upgrade to our new CDLC system. 4) We are looking into hiring a Skin designer to design a professional dark-themed type skin. (Possibly a white one too). Please note this will take some time but I'm hoping to get all of this in motion within the week. I'd like to have everything up and running soon so we can have an awesome community with awesome CDLC. I also want to give thanks for my wife, Ally who has been here since the morning helping me out with everything. I'm looking forward to working with everyone to create the ultimate CDLC website.
