Just came across this https://github.com/Jamedjo/RSTabExplorer/releases It takes RS custom and exports it to a tab sheet (kinda like GuitarPro). This is great for me since I like to look over the songs tab and get an idea of how a song goes before I jump into RS and play it.

Hi all! For long time I wanted to take part in this activity but waited for nice song. I didn't knew Metric and I have to say that this song is really nice. http://i62.tinypic.com/335bf5t.png I had bad time at first chord section, still I got lucky here and there so it was a little better then I expected. I scored more points on next playthrough, though with slightly worst accuracy (chords worked well, but I was making some silly mistakes), so I'm not posting it.

I'd have to say that if I only had one option, Id have to go with a band called.... Poets of the Fall (from Finland) and the song is called "Carnival of Rust." For all of you out there that like acoustic guitars with electric lead layovers, poetic words, and an awesome baritone voice.... check these guys out!

From anywhere from guitar scales to playing the bass quickly with your fingers, we will try to help you master ways to learn the guitar.Each CDLC will feature Dynamic Difficulty so you can begin at a steady pace and work your way up. I'm on a Mac. I made a couple of cdlcs, from time to time one or both of them are not showing in the list of songs in RS2014. It's pretty random, yesterday it was all fine, today I start RS and the song is not there. Often the songs re-appear if I restart RS. Or sometimes I have to regenerate even though the song was working yesterday. Is it something in cdlc that might be causing it? Or can it be Mac specific?

<soapbox> I hate to sound like a pussy, but please - wear earplugs when gigging. There is no cure, and no hope. Now, you can obviously get Tinnitus from things aside from concerts but that's a big contributor. Mine's pretty severe. Ambient noise needs to be over 95 decibles in order for me to not hear the ringing. Sleep is a joke, silence forever gone. If your ears aren't ringing forever already, take measures to try to ensure it doesn't. </soapbox>

Coincidentally, the ability to set the vibrato speed is what I've been working on today. In the past, the developers told me that usable values for the speed are 40, 80 and 120, and I'm just making the speed selectable from those three (as "slow", "normal" and "fast"). If you guys can test and confirm that a speed of 240 looks different from 120, I'll probably have to make it so a custom vibrato speed can be set.

i dont know it , to be honest xD i only did it once after i see u ask for it. and i put it up to 160 and rs didnt crash so its all a game of trying it out as long as it fit or rs crash.

If u make a copy of the original file and only works with the copie then yes. your project didn't messed up on that way. the best about this is, if you know it works u are smarter than before and u can update the original file in EoF and all is fine.

You have to do all from scratch for RS2014, but you can use old files as base, EOF supports RS1.xml files and you can create same tone in game or even better.. checkout our Help and tutorials for more info :)

When Unleashed, Baker, and myself started talking about this site the first morning before the name was even selected, one of the things we discussed was how to help the users with this and avoid the major mistake that took down the other site. The initial discussion seemed to be an easy one, we would just play every CDLC and make some type of mark for the ones that play perfect. Thanks to the out pour of time and CDLC content, that quickly became impossible. Basically we are down to the charters policing themselves. Which for the most part you guys do a fantastic job of.

I'd expect that to happen. You can always remove the undefined bend status from that normal note, or if you want it to be there for project display purposes you could always just define the bend strength for the normal note.As for the bend shape, cstewart's advice is the best way to go. Otherwise the game probably starts the bend automatically at the beginning of the note.

for a delayed bend, you want to put a tech note with bend strength of 0 at the point where the bend starts and a tech note with bend strength of 2 half steps at the point where it gets up to pitch. Delayed slides don't work with tech notes. You have to use multiple notes and linknext status

One benefit of the thanks button is that you don't bump song threads with thanks messages. When you want to see comments on songs or if there are updates only to find someone just posted "Thanks" Cool I can like my own post!
