  1. Guitar to "Radial Big Shot ABY" pedal (features to eliminate hum and phase issues). Output A: Rocksmith cable to PC. Output B: to Line6 Spider IV 75. Guitar volume in Rocksmith turned down. Connected to the Amp is the Line6 FBV Shortboard so I can switch tones quicky on the amp to match the various songs that I play.
  2. It is mentioned in the first post instructions, but not mentioned explicitly in the CLI instructions: 5) Remove the old CDLC that contains the bug from the 'dlc' folder (this is a very important step)
  3. Do you make sure to remove the .org file from your RS DLC folder? If you don't you will get this problem.
  4. @@cozy1 The path to the Temp files on Win10: C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Temp I can confirm that this Temp folder was filled with files after running the remastered.exe.
  5. Just provide some stats and results. Ran the Remastered.exe bulk fix tool on 566 customs. 533 reported fixed successfully (94%), 31 corrupt files and 2 invalid files that could not be repaired (6% that could not be repaired by the bulk fix tool). The ones that could not be repaired and reported as "corrupt": Aerosmith_Crazy_v4_p.psarc Avril-Lavigne_Sk8er-Boi_v1,7_p.psarcDef-Leppard_Animal_v2_DD_p.psarcDon-Henley_Dirty-Laundry_v1_DD_p.psarcDoors_Hello-I-Love-You_v1_1_DD_p.psarcDoors_Soul-Kitchen_v_p.psarcDoors_The-End_v1_DD_p.psarcDoors_Wasp-Texas-Radio-and-the-Big-Beat_v2_p.psarcGo-Gos-The_Our-Lips-Are-Sealed_v1_p.psarcGo-Gos_Vacation_v1_p.psarcGrateful-Dead_Truckin_v1_p.psarcHarvey-Danger_Flagpole-Sitta_v1_p.psarcJoe-Walsh_Lifes-Been-Good_v2.1_p.psarcLed Zeppelin - 7 - Communication Breakdown_p.psarcLed_Zeppelin_Living_Loving_Maid_(She's_Just_a_Woman)_v1_0_p.psarcNo-Doubt_Just-A-Girl_v2_DD_p.psarcPearl-Jam_Better-Man_v5_1_DD_p.psarcPink Floyd - Time_p.psarcQueen_Radio-Ga-Ga_v1_p.psarcREM_Man-on-the-Moon_v2_p.psarcRolling-Stones_Angie_v1_p.psarcThe Doors - Love me Two Times_p.psarcThe-Doors_Back-Door-Man_v151014_DD_p.psarcThe-Rolling-Stones_Jumpin-Jack-Flash_v1_p.psarcThe-Who_Long-live-rock_v1_DD_m.psarcU2_One-Live_v1_p.psarcU2_Sunday-Bloody-Sunday_v3_p.psarcU2_Van-Diemens-Land_v5_p.psarcVan-Halen_Hot-For-Teacher_v2_p.psarcVan-Halen_Panama_v1_p.psarcMetallica - One.1.2_p.psarc
  6. I'd greatly appreciate step by step instructions on how to do this or a link to help or instructions: "regenerate the xml file inside EOF". I assume RS Toolkit can be used to do this? I'm trying to fix the lack of chord ghosting.
  7. @@MAGGERS, instead of launching RS through Steam have you tried launching RS directly through the desktop shortcut to the Rocksmith executable or launch the RS .exe directly?
  8. Should a field or column be added to Ignition so we can easily filter/see which new CDLC postings/updates are "compliant" (100% bug free, etc.) with RS14 Remastered?
  9. The key to this working effectively is to have something that has features designed-in that can combat the noise effects from ground loops and electrical phase conflicts with the amplifier. A lot of good technical info on the links below that can explain it properly. http://www.radialeng.com/bigshotaby.php http://www.tonebone.com/twincity.php http://www.tonebone.com/re-bigshot-aby-detail.htm
  10. Radial ToneBone Twin-City ABY is definitely the premium product with the best noise reduction capability (also the premium price). I may just be lucky with my setup combination that I'm not getting any noise. The only area I've noticed any issue with note recognition in RockSmith with my setup is "two-hand tapping". It seems if I plug guitar direct to PC with RS USB cable, it yields better note detection for two-hand tapping. This is with limited testing, only using the practice track from the lesson section.
  11. I'm using the Radial BigShot ABY. With the right combination of the pedal's ground lift and phase settings, I'm not getting any unwanted noise. Guitar to the ABY pedal. "A" line to Line6 Spider IV 75; "B" line is the RockSmith USB cable to PC. In Rocksmith audio settings, Player1 guitar volume is turned down as far as it goes, so the guitar is only coming out of the amp. I use the Spider IV presets to try and match the tone of the song I'm playing in Rocksmith. It works pretty well. Pink Floyd - Shine on You Crazy Diamond preset, Nirvana - In Bloom, etc. Works pretty good. I just added the Line6 FBV Shortboard, so I can switch tones in the middle of a song when needed (still working on that). Playing through a real Amp has definitely improved my play. If you are playing like crap, you can really hear it, but also very satisfying when you are nailing it!
  12. With the 100% bug, I have been trying to avoid using "Learn a Song" with guitar as I don't want to fill my profile with false 100% achievements. So I have been using Score Attack instead for guitar. However after reading some posts about Bass not being affected as much with the 100% bug as most songs don't use chords with Bass, I tried 'Emulated Bass' mode for the first time. This is after having RockSmith for two years with hundreds of hours on guitar. In all that time, I never even thought to try the bass path. I loaded up a few songs and was really getting into those Bass grooves. On a lot of songs, it is much easier to score higher on the bass than guitar. Of course, then I tried a Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Not so easy, as expected -- bow down to Flea! Maybe time to buy a bass guitar? Hmmmm....
  13. I assume we can modify the "date added" info for our CDLC files using one of the file editing tools like CustomsForge Song Manager? If so, then we can change the "date added" info on the songs we want to put into a set list [song List 1-4], such that we arrange the "date added" sequence to coincide with the order of the songs we want to play in the NonStop Play mode and choose the "Play Order" sort by "Date Added" in the NonStop Play options. Of course could easily do it by changing the "name" of the song or artist of the CDLC, but rather not mess with that. For example, if you wanted to play a few Pink Floyd songs in a specific order: Rename the artist for the following songs as indicated by prefixing with numbers 1 though 4 in the desired sort order. Then just load these four into an empty "Song List" and choose sort by Artist in the "Play Order" options and start NonStop Play. 1PinkFloyd - Money 2PinkFloyd - Comfortably Numb 3PinkFloyd - Wish You Were Here 4PinkFloyd - Hey You
  14. Is the drop down to see your list of "Saved Songs for Later" working?
