  1. Hi all! Thanks coldrampage for the informations. Have done recently some tries of number of free Audio to Midi software on the Net.... all bad! I had some hope with (new) Spotify Basic Pitch (https://basicpitch.spotify.com/) but never get any good results, specially for bass (audio separated) tracks, even trying to remove harmonics... :( Maybe you could have found the good paremeters? Wasn't aware of AnthemScore. Will surely test the Trial and ready to buy.... But it could not help too much if it doesn't deal with finding good fingerings as I am still too newbie to this skill! But am willing to learn
  2. Just for information, I made a new "No bass" audio version of "I Want Your Love" by Chic, for bass players, using Audio Separation Hybrid Demucs v4. I Want Your Love (No Bass) https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/73750 Many thanks to Mystic530 who allowed me for making and sharing this version from his own CDLC (https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/73356). Enjoy and let me know if U like it! Or if U would like me to make (or help you make yourself ) another ones... And Merry Christmas to all!
  3. Started by updating my previous "No Bass" version from Mika's Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) - https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/67847 Now better audio quality (thanks to AI audio separation Demucs Hybrid v4) and a real bass tone... Anothers "No Bass" CDLC will come soon...
  4. Hi Coldrampage, Thanks for the directions. It seems perfectly fine to me... I will inform you and share as soon as it starts to be ready! See u!
  5. Hi guys! I was wondering if "no bass" audio version of CDLC, made from already shared full track audio's CDLC, should be interesting for some of us here ? They would be especially intended as bactrack for bass player... We don't always have original audio Stems/Tracks, but Music Audio Separation is now more easily done with some IA tools (such as Demucs) with good results to remove bass track, and swapping audio inside a CDLC can be done with a not very difficult work (if you know how to do it!)... My first try was for "Mika - Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)" as explained in: https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/67847 And I could share some others, and surely with better quality now... What is advisable to do to share them afterwards between us (and to not create confusion with original CDLC)? Is there a special place to put them, or is it possible to share them as usual? Of course this would not be done without the agreement of the original creator (or if he does'nt object we make it)... Or if he want to use the crafted audio track to make an alternative CDLC version himself (just by asking it)... Thanks in advance for the advises. PS: By the way, do you know this Youtube channel? ♪ JJ-BASSless (ツ) https://www.youtube.com/@jj-bassless
  6. Hi guys! I'm a "self made" guitarist/bass beginner's player on RS since several years now (even I only have one guitar and not bass) , and I challenged myself into trying to create CDLC (EOF+CF Builder). As explained here, while creating a CDLC with bass track, I found that tone changes was not working at all, although all my efforts! I can't understand why, because all my tones were working when I load them "manually" in Tone Designer and affected to a number 2-4... Thanks to this post I realized that it was caused by using "emulated bass"... I never was aware of this problem before and all the work on bass tones I missed in CDLC (but also in original DLC) ... I tried to use my guitar with an octaver I already had (Tomsline Octpus Polyphonic Octave), while deactivating "emulated bass" and then bass tone changes worked!! But the quality is really awful... surely because of this low quality octave pedal... I don't understand this choice of this deactivation by the software developpers... Since 2015, do you known if there a (simple) workaround (patch?) to make RS working using "emulated bass" the same as all other tracks (lead, rythm) with the tone changes, for all people wanting to play bass with their guitar? Or a way to define another default bass tone for the bass track ? Do you have any experience using octavers? I'm about to buy a better Polyphonic Octaver (an Electro-Harmonic Micro POG) with the hope of better sound quality... Or my only choice is to find/buy a real bass? Thanks for your tips or advices.
  7. Hi guys, I've shared today my first experiment with isolating instruments/drums/voice, from a previous CDLC, to give a new CDLC version containing music track without bass, created at start for my sole use and training. .... As coldrampage said, you could find Machine/Deep Learning tools for this... I've tried 2 tools to split the music tracks, one online (web site) and one software tool that are using DeepLearning... - Create stems from any song with ezstems - https://ezstems.com/ - Spleeter - Fast and Efficient Music Source Separation Tool with Pre-Trained Models - https://github.com/deezer/spleeter (free and open-source!) For the first one, you just have to upload audio file (although there is a size limit), choose number of isolated tracks wanted, launch the process (wait in a priority stack) and download the result. The second one need to be installed and configured (Windows), wich isn't so easy, but give generally better results. When using the "5 stems" options we obtain 5 individual splitted tracks: - bass - drums - piano - vocals - other It's all automated and the result is very surprising!!! But your mileage may vary... Voice and drums can be generally well isolated. [Edit] They can be removed with ususually very good results! Same for bass when it's not too mixed with other instruments. But guitar are often found in "other".... but still usable if not much other instruments or sound effects! Best result is when you want to remove one of the splitted track, for exemple removing bass... I let you see/listen to the result with bass (almost completly removed) in my new CDLC (from Seneca's previous CDLC - https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/43889): Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) - No bass - https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/67847 I would be interested if you know and practice other ways/tools/software to do the same job. See U
