BETA Testing

Hi, Noticed some songs ODLC are being shown with wrong Tuning. For example, they show as Eb Drop Db in CFSM but are Eb Standard in RS2014. It happened with 1.4.2.8 and 1.2.4.9, probably before as well. Yes I have made a clean install.

Hi, I select all columns from settings. Close CFSM, open it again and my column selection has changed back to default columns. I need to select all columns every time I restart CFSM. Go to Duplicates Tab, Disable (or Enable) a Song. Go to Song Manager Tab, COMPLETE RESCAN. Why not just do a Quick Rescan? Why in the Duplicates Tab I cant right click songs and access the menu as in the Song Manager Tab?

1.4.1.1 release link downloads 1.4.0.1 Beta. Tried 1.4.1.3 Beta but it scans every file for everything. Why does the Beta FORCEFULLY downloads the newest Beta? Why not let the user decide what version to install in their PC? Betas tend to have problems (that is why they are Betas) so if the newest one doesnt work, forcing its installation breaks everything. A page where we can download ALL previous versions would make life easier for everyone. I just need a stable release.

I've been using earlier versions of the song manager the latest updates both stable and the beta give me this error. I get it no matter what i do and i think i tried every remedy there was when searching the same error. Please halp i have so many duplicates D:

Hi, Installed CFSM 1.4.1.1 Beta. Run it and it asked to replace D3DX9_42.dll. After replacing it, RS2014 (not Remastered) stopped working. Run it, nothing happens. I had made a backup before replacing it so I restored it and RS2014 works again. What version is the D3DX9_42.dll for? I have version RS2014 v165.260519 (v7) installed. I was wondering if there is a newer patch I am missing, the file is for an older version or the file is for Remastered.

2 issues: 1) App displays as "release version" after installation but website still shows 1.3.0.1 as current release version 2) Old bug of the app trying to reinstall on each launch has returned. I haven't seen that unwanted behavior in a while.

Hello, I upgraded to the latest beta (1.3.1.7) and am having an issue with it starting. Upon starting I get a dialog box: "Unable to execute file: c:\Program Files (x86)\CustomsForgeSongManager\CustomForgeSongManager.exe CreateProcess failed; code 740. The requested operation requires elevation." Does make you wonder whose computer it actually is. Very expensive firewall software doesn't let me install and keep Song Manager. Had no problems until resent update anyone else getting same thing?

CFMSetup.exe reruns every time the new beta version is launched, even though it's already installed and working. If you click cancel then CFM loads normally and works as desired but on app restart the setup exe runs every time.

The 1st time CF Song Manager is launched the CFSMsetup.exe does not run. Upon closing the app and re-launching it the setup now runs every subsequent time that the app is run. As previously with 1.2.4.0 you have the option to say no but must do so every time or the installer will re-run.

The "old" bug is back, even though I have the latest version installed it tries to reinstall the same version on app launch every time.

I've found that song Pack doesn't work for the new cache.psarc. it corrupts the file and crashes the game. I've verified filed integrity and pulled down again from steam, but each time I run it the same thing happens. It's damaging something to do with the new feature to use a mic instead of the cable. you can instantly tell as soon as you get into the game the icon of which path you are using is incorrect, it's missing the sub-icon for cable/mic. and if you hit CTRL to change paths the game instantly crashes. Let me know if you need anything to help troublshoot or logs... CFSM doesn't report any errors when run on the cache.psarc.

Just upgraded the beta from 1.2.76 to 1.2.79. Started Rocksmith 2014 Remastered with CFSM. Tried to play Sheryl Crow Soak up the Sun which was working on the previous version and RS crashed when I selected the song to play. I restarted 3 times and all 3 times it crashed with CFSM running. I restarted through Steam and the song plays fine..... :huh:

Hi, I just ran the beta version on a few Custom DLCs and noticed that it replaced all the chord repeat symbols with the actual chord. It gets pretty cluttered and hard to see on the screen.

Still getting the exception error on the RS1 DLC song pack if I try to disable any songs... when I save there is an exception error (below) and then the app is frozen indefinitely, have to force crash out. the other two packs of RS1 disc & RS2014 work fine. Have had this issue on all versions since RS2014 remastered was issued. It starts to write the new rs1compatibilitydlc_p.psarc, but the error occurs leaving the file with 0 bytes and corrupt. So I just downloaded this again to try and tidy up my cdlc collection of 2k+ cdlc's and it stops moving the dlc into their own folders after the first couple (not sure exactly how many). I've run the release version and the beta version multiple times to ensure its not just an issue on one of them. I am wondering am I missing a step here anywhere? I use <artist>\\<artist>_<title> as shown in the instructions and i have also used \\<artist>\\<artist>_<title> as well but it will not move any of the cdlc's into their own folders anymore after the initial first startup and that only moved my letter A dlc's.
