Hello, newbie to this website. Is it possible you guys could put the tunings next to the song titles? Like when I search say Metallica, instead of having to click each song to see the tuning, if I could see the tuning right next to the song title it would save a lot of time. Just a thought, thanks.

	Hey there,

I would like to have an option to (temporarily) disable the automatic quick rescan after editing a files metadata. Because sometimes I remove the "-e-std" or "-drop-d" extensions from titles with where added or correct other data fields because sometimes German characters are missing (ä, ö, ü). When you're going through tens of files it's annoying that after each edit it reloads the songlist which takes about 10 to 15 seconds everytime (I have waaaaaaaaay too many songs). I the easiest solution to this would be a toggle button (next to "Protect Official DLC" for example) which simply disables the rescan, so taht I can edit whatever I want and then do a manual rescan.

I would really appreciate this little QOL feature. Thanks!

We have 1 favourite Song List and 6 custom Playlists. I'd like to use the playlist in order to seperate different genres, which really supringslingly!!!! is not possible by a rock!! game. Really funny.

I want to structure my songs according so following genres:

	(only favourite songs)

	1_Pop and popular rock Songs
2_Classic Rock, 60 70 80s, those easy to play stuff
3_Glam Rock, Hard Rock and heavy metal
4_Punk Rock
5_Nu Metal and similar metal genres
6_Art Rock

Is it possible to use some kind of genre fields as additional tags for a song that would help this task? Even if it is not used by rocksmith, it would help keeping track of them.

In order to create the songlists, it would be helpful for me to have additional information in the master song area: Year, "Is favourite", maybe rating (basically all available field), and then 6 check boxes that indicate in which song list the song is present already.

A short rpeview would also be helpful. So far, I have a paper on my knees going through rocksmith in order to sort songs into the list. keeping track of newly added songs is a real pain, without a date field, too.
FOr obvious reasons (lots of files, Rocksmith start-up taking forever ... ) I sort my files using three different folders, that I then move into the dlc folder accordingly:

	A) All files with bass only arragement

	B) All standard tuned songs, that I play with a standard tuned guitar

	C) All dop tuned songs, that are gonna be played with a dropped guitar.

In order to automatically put the songs into these folders, I use the following renaming sceme:

	\\<tuning>\\<arrangements>\\<artist>_<title>_<tuning>_<version>_<arrangements>

Having the arragements seperated, I can also go for Bass+Lead only arrangements for multiplayer. Furthermore, the version tag allows for a quick decision which song to delete.

THis works pretty well on maybe 80% of the songs. But as soon as the LEAD tuning differs from the BASS tuning (and the BASS tuning usually being the primary arrangement), the manual work sets in. I'd like to have the rename sceme <tuning> to take over the value of a pre set arrangement (i.e. BASS, if it does not exist: BASS).

Also, it would be really great to handle the hughe bulk of "other" tunings somehow.

I was wondering if it's possible to filter CFSM by different things, such as play count? This would make it easier to delete the songs I don't play. I have quite a few songs and need to delete some to make it easier to find the songs I wanna play. Optimally I would like to delete them directly in Rocksmith but I don't think that's possible, and so more filters on CFSM would help.

First off, thank you for creating a wonderful management tool!

I have a feature request that would greatly benefit those who use Linux with non-window display managers.

If possible, could you provide a mechanism to to disable the Tool Tips, either through the configuration file or in the GUI?

When using a non-windowing display manager on Linux the mouse will "jump" around when trying to click a GUI element, such as a checkbox or button. When the tooltip pops up, the focus on the GUI element becomes lost.

It's frustrating to have to attempt over an over to perform typical UI element actions such as dragging and resizing the columns.

Howdy All, and thanks to the devs for such a great tool!

Like many of you I'm sure, I really want to see my large collection in album chronology and track order. So I made the decision to edit each albumsort field to force the sort, e.g., Beatles artistsort is changed from "beatles" to [artistname][year][tracknum]. After recoding each Beatles file, "Two of Us" appears as track one in a grouping of that album, and appears chronologically after prior years' albums. It was a pain in the ass but so worth it to me.

For instances of multiple releases per year, I use a,b,c after the [year]. I don't know how to script this although the rest of the work is just concantination.

The downsides are ODLC is uneditable and so end up at the beginning of any Artist sort; and this much specificity requires maintenance of updates or additions, but I'm OK with that too.

I've also changed the appearance of Song Lists. If you sort a song list by year, album groupings disappear. I'd rather see the albums from the same year grouped together. So I've begin editing again with Song Lists and am editing titlesort by appending the above modified [artistsort] to the beginning of [titlesort]. This change wrecks alpha title sort but I decided I rarely if ever sort that way, and my thematic use of Lists is enhanced in a way I like, which encourages playtime, which it definitely has. Again, worth the effort to a collector/musician/user like me.

QUESTION 1: Is there a script similar to Renamer that can be added to CFSM to achieve this? This one-by-one stuff is losing its charm ater a gazillion edits and counting. I wish I knew enough to write my own because it's just concatination.

QUESTION 2: With respect to Song volume, is there a way to bulk-analyse track db and bring everything to a uniform standard?

Many thanks again! You make my favorite game so much better!

I see a lot of songs on here that say "Riff play this Riff. There is no such part of a song called Riff. That is a motion to replay part of a song that you may be having trouble with.

The parts of a song are:

Intro. When you begin a song, you don't want to come in at full force. ...

Verse. Many people feel that the verses of a song are only there to give the brain a break before hammering it again with the chorus.

Pre-Chorus. But not just yet... ...

	Chorus. ...

	Bridge / Solo. ...

	Outro. ...

Also a lot of songs I have downloaded don't have Riffs where they are really needed. I am just now deciding if I want to learn how to create CDLC's but be assured if I do they will be correct.

	Bottom line:

An option somewhere in the program to not skip the quarantine process when a valid xblock file is not found.

Ideally this could be some toggleable option. In my situation I had a hard drive corrupt and was able to recover about ~85% of the songs using hard drive recovery tools but about ~15% was totally corrupted, the right file size but completely mixed data from "ghost bytes" left on the hard drive. So I have no inherit way to easily just remove these files. When the song manager loads up it recognizes these songs are broken, but does nothing to address it. I'm eating up some scan time in dealing with these 250 or so songs.

I'm hoping an easy togglable could be added to allow the program to move these files to another folder for later addressing via the file manager in the song manager. The condition doesn't have to be blanket to address all files, just psarc files that ALSO don't have a valid xblock would still addressed by the quarantine process. And you don't break the ability to skip the not rocksmith files that may be inside the dlc directory.

For now I'm just going to manually go item by item in the output area and remove them all by hand, but an option in program to address it would be awesome.

I had to reset my whole laptop and redownload windows and when i got it back up i redownloaded rocksmith from steam. i found the dll file and downloaded the latest version again and when i started the game up none of my custom songs were there. i have tried everything ive seen in the forums and things of my own and i can not get it to show my custom songs. i have tried redownloading rocksmith a 2nd time, redownloading dll, checked to make sure the dll was in the rocksmith folder. checked to see if the file was blocked under the "properties" tab. i thought maybe i needed to delete the cherub rock psarc file and try to redownload it and i did but now it only shows up in the game as a playable song but nowhere in my rocksmith files anymore so i cant get it back. im at my witts end any help would be appreciated

	Hello
Please add a new field and sort filter for favorite songs in the song manager tab. Being able to activate it from the [settings tab -> grid settings] I think it would be very positive to be able to mark or unmark favorites, filter, mass deletion of non-favorites, etc.
