In Topic: How to make DD CDLC with the most amount of segments ("blocks")?

25 September 2017 - 01:23 PM

if your referring to creating DD from a cdlc that does not have DD the only way i know which has worked for  me is using the most current Rocksmith Tool kit when you open the toolkit you will see along the top tabs 1 of them is DD click that  this will open the song creator  where youll see  large box that says path next to this box is a add or delete tab choose add then this will open a window locate your dlc folder through this open screen then select the cdlc you want to be DD once you choose the Cdlc and choose it you should be back on the song creator page the cdlc should now be listed in the path box.

then below this path box youll see options should say ddc_default i scroll down here and choose  ddc_8_max_levels. then you can choose to overwrite file i would copy it to another location until you understand or make a mistake. if you dont choose over write you will have 2 cdlc's with same name 1 with DD 1 without once you do this click Generate DD this will take a minute it will take longer the more songs you do at the same time. this will create a cdlc that has DD which didnt have DD if this is what you want. hope this helps

In Topic: i can't play any cdlc songs :c

I had the same problem with some CDLC's amps came down and song wouldn't start. I was playing the game the lazy way and starting it through the rocksmith desktop Icon. Then someone pointed out to me that you need to start game from steam and every song I had trouble with then worked. Very good advice.

Ok sounds pretty straight forward thanks.

I'm not sure what new computer i will get I'm almost sure it would be a PC not Mac

but if I did choose a Mac I'd have a lot of work ahead, I'd have to re download all my CDLC's and purchased songs, right ?

When i log in and download the game if I chose Mac would steam where i purchased RS and RS 2014, download the correct version or would I have to buy the Mac version?

I'm also looking for the easiest directions on how to start making my own CDLC. I see there are several you tube videos on this subject but some seem to over explain, And different people seem to do it differently adding to the confusion. Anybody any suggestions?

What are the most current versions of software out there needed?

Thanks for your time

In Topic: Why is my guitar never in tune?

08 June 2017 - 02:24 PM

Don't know if this helps but I have noticed some songs will say E standard A440 and the next song will also say E standard A440 but is actually slightly higher or lower. It may actually be E standard  A444 or something like this, not all songs fall exactly into any tuning category. so it could be a E standard song and be in the E standard category but vibrate slightly higher or lower

I have some songs like photograph Def Leppard says tuning is E standard  A427, and  T.N.T AC/DC says E standard A428 so the guitar maybe tuned for E standard A440 for most songs but this slight variation will cause you to have to retune.

I hope this helps in some way, its easier to do than explain. I think i confused myself lol

Good Luck
