Hi guys, someone knows how to use the toolkit to convert the original rocksmith cdlc files to use them in rocksmith 2014?

You can't use the toolkit for an immediate conversion. You have to unpack the RS 1 file, reimport it into EOF, create the required RS 2014 files, convert the .ogg to .wem and repack it afterwards to RS 2014 format.

How do you 'unpack' the .dat?

Does EOF do that?

The toolkit does.  Once you've extracted the arrangements (XML files) and the audio has been converted back to regular (OGG file), you can build a new EOF project with the audio and just use the Rocksmith Import function on each XML file.

ok, I was just happy I extracted the .dat.... but don't understand it's contents/layout

Is there a checklist somewhere for what is essential for package creation?

When I try to create a new EOF project opening the .ogg file, it says that the file in not a .ogg format. Do I need to convert to .ogg file first? with wwise?

The toolkit has an option (ie. a checkbox on the unpack tab) to convert the audio back to normal, you need to do this or else it won't work with any normal audio playing programs.
