How To Add New Inlays Using Rocksmith 2014 Guitar Maker ? :

 

1 st download Stable/beta version of the soft.
2nd launch it.
3 go to "Store" tab
4 download the one you want.
5 you will get a CGM
6 go back to creator tab
7 click load it will prompt you to load a CGM
8 Click on "RS2014 Directory" button a point it to "Rocksmith 2014/dlc/inlays"
9 check "PC" (or mac if you are on mac as i need a tester it would be neat XD)
10 click "create single"

Then you will get a pop up saying that's done.

11 Launch the game.
12 login in Uplay 
13 select your profil.
14 on lobby press CTRL
15 go to last choice
16 browse for your inlays.

And how shift inlays? I tried to add Megadeth, look cool, but i have shift to right relatively frets. It is dependent upon screen resolution?

Upd2. How right to use background for inlay? I tried to do my inlay, and get or transparent or all white color.

You Have to Use .PNG Format with Transparency.

 

Or create the .dds with  one alpha Channel Where Levels of grey Gives you the transparency White: 100% Visible, Black: 100% Transparent & Grey: 50% Transparent The More Dark, The More Transparent.

@StevenH  yes, try to change the ID to the one you're using,  Also you have to create a directory named inlays in order to keep them separated from the Songs (They could have the same nme etc..)There's one alternative way to create Inlays with Toolkit see the 2 Below links.
